The Gooker in retro form seems like a no-brainer. V excited for Brother Love. I will buy that set for that fig alone. Also, we REALLY need Jake in black flame tights with the cobra. Yeah Jake in the flame tights would be cool. I'd go with the blue personally but would be happy for either. |

seeing the Brother Love figure has made me wonder - what if Mattel were doing a 4-pack of the Gimmick Battle Royal from WrestleMania X7? who would we want to see in with Brother Love? would people want a Cornette? or would you give that slot to someone else like the Goon? I definitely wouldn’t hate it if they got 4 solid names. I tried to break it down from most likely to least likely. Less Likely: -Michael PS Hayes (seems like it wouldn’t be very desirable) -One Man Gang (concussion lawsuit) Retro Remakes: Iron Sheik (Already done in Retro form) taking a sideways turn here - if they could make a heels pack, I'd love a 91 Iraq styled Sgt Slaughter, Col Mustafa and a One Man Gang (though he's more likely to end up with a Tugboat/Vader look) but I'd like a Michael PS Hayes, though I reckon that would be better suited more to a WCW set, assuming WWE (post-Vince) could negotiate something for either a Freebirds styled pack, or at least WCW run with Jimmy Garvin |

Can anyone in the UK who ordered the ring let me know how much it was including shipping? my bill was £59 for two rings, it's £25 per ring, plus the £9 shipping charge
also just to add to this, the black ring is still available, so no-one needs to pay over-inflated eBay charges, it's £25 or $25, it's not going to break anyone's bank account to buy one if they want one (though it's gonna hurt those who bought loads to flip LOL!!!)

It comes with two ring stickers also, so if your a collector and want both order two rings. one is the W logo, other is wrestlemania

Got my ring today, man the main sticker is sticky!!! Very hard to get off once you put it on if you don’t get it right! I’ve heard this complaint from everyone who has tried it! When I started buying more blue retro rings, I stopped putting the stickers on as I prefer the look of a bare canvas on my rings. For the black rings, I decided to convert them into an Attitude Era ring and a Nitro ring. Haven’t painted them yet but for now the Raw Ring has all red ropes. The Nitro ring has black ropes with red turnbuckle pads. |

Too much wrestlemania reveals posts to scroll through. Did the reveals show 2 full waves? I think I recall seeing a Brother Love, but he's not in the Alundra wave, right? But Love's full wave wasn't shown?

The Alundra wave was announced days prior (along with Isaac Yankem, HBK 96 and Bulldog 96. There is a theory that there will be some individual retro releases as I believe Steve said the Brother Love was not a part of a 4 pack at this time. Some people are speculating that could mean figures with displays (like the set of the Brother Love Show). This is all just rumor and innuendo right now. |

I also have to ask - what are/were Mattel's plans for the double belt display?? did Mattel plan to release Retro scaled belts? a lot of the Elite scale belts are tight (the silver tags are very tight on there) so could we still see a set of belts released as part of a special edition set rather than a 4-pack?

I get that making something like a funeral parlour or brother love show set may be a no for. However, a cardboard stand or backdrop of them would be a nice bonus.

I am absolutely up for retro figs being sold as singles or (a big maybe) with display sets. Whatever gets us more licensed figs, the better!
Thinking out loud, we could get a Gooker and egg / Taker Debut pack as Retros, and I'd flip.

It really pops and looks great. |

In the Q&A, Steve answered my question about the next set of release dates and reveals saying both would be a similar cadence to last year.
For those like me who don't remember, when would that mean the Yankem set is coming out, and the next line-up will be revealed?

If I recall correctly, I believe in the past we’ve had reveals at SDCC, then we can order sets in late august and then we can order sets in late January/early February. Can’t remember where the ringside sets slipped in though….spring maybe? |

Thanks -- bummed we have to wait until August, but I can't wait for Yankem and Alundra (hopefully she stands better than Wendi).
BTW -- I posted in Classifieds, but if anyone is selling John Studd or the Ali ref figures, I'm interested.
