WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart was just attacked during his WWE Hall of Fame induction speech for The Hart Foundation. A fan, likely drunk, tried to bum rush Bret. Numerous WWE Superstars, who are sitting in the first few rows, jumped over the barrier and beat the hell out of the dude. Shane McMahon was the first to come into the ring and he was followed by Rockstar Spud, TJ Wilson, Edge, and many, MANY others.
It should be noted that WWE Network cameras cut to the crowd while security escorted the idiot out of the ring. Despite some rumors online, it was not Enzo Amore:
WWE themselves issued the following statement afterwards: "An over-exuberant fan surpassed our security at ringside and made his way briefly into the ring. The individual has been turned over to the proper authorities.”
I don't know if we can post links but there's videos all over Twitter of Dash Wilder punching the guy in the face as they're carrying him out 😂😂 terrible that people are this ignorant but somehow it's probably Seths fault.

Glad Bret and Nattie are ok.

Glad this dirt bag got 'tuned up' after that. Plain and simple, when you cross those crowd barriers, whether it's doing a match, or something like the Hall of Fame, you deserve what you get. Hopefully Dash didn't hurt his hand on the guy's face.

I am almost convinced that the douche was paid off by Enzo and Cass because those two idiots crashed the G1 SuperCard right after.

Why are they having the HOF in a ring now anyway? With the previous stage setup, it all seemed much more formal. Either way, looks like the dumba$$ got what was coming to him trying to pull such a stupid stunt.

I saw footage of it online, cause i was watching G1 Supercard. The guy who did that was a dirtbag, and thank god nothing happened to Bret and Nattie. I wanna say WWE should consider making the HOF an event where only wrestlers, invited ex-wrestlers and invited guests are only welcomed. Also, thank you Dash Wilder for punching that guy in the face, hope you don't sued over it or get in trouble with management

Enzo and Cass crashing the ROH show was a work. To think that Enzo had anything to do with paying a fan to crash the HOF show is just ridiculous.

Don't forget Shane McMahon, a pretty brutal combination of guys to piss off, DH Smith went to town on the guy. Drew was in there too but the guy was already covered by then. Probably best for his health that Drew didn't pummel him.

In my opinion, the cheap shot Dash took on the guy was unnecessary. I understand why he did it, but it’s very possible WWE is going to see it in a completely different way. The guy was already restrained and no longer a threat to anyone, and he attacked a defenseless man. Not defending the guy who attacked Bret whatsoever, he should definitely be jailed, have charges pressed against him, and barred from any live event. But I really think WWE is going to see it somewhat this way. If Dash and Dawson lose their title at the PPV, I won’t be surprised.

He attacked an unsuspecting 61 year old man who's survived a Stroke & Cancer, as well as taking down Natalya in the process. If this was the 80's - 90's, that guy would have been slaughtered. As for The Revival losing their Titles, i think it's fairly obvious they'll lose anyway to give the Hometown boys and especially Hawkins, a feel good moment.

over exuberant fan, meet Travis Browne...Travis Browne, meet over exuberant fan.... Is this his actual mugshot? I understand fans have rushed the ring before(yeah, apparently this guy was an MMA fighter, and an idiot above all else), but just another reason to have barricades and security always on their toes.

If the HOF becomes a closed event, this guy will be hated forever by the community. And then some.
Some people are still saving up for years, 000s of dollars, to go to this weekend just once in their lifetime. (Mostly) men who are in their 30s or 40s now and love the spectacle but find it hard to have the spare cash due to life, family, children etc which must come first in the real world. . And this **** has likely taken away a much-loved portion of the weekend for the older fan, the HOF part of that weekend 😡

And they'll most likely go back to the stage setup as previous HOF's have had. After all, there wasn't even a barricade around the ring for this as normal shows. And I think that's a mistake, as it could've deterred the idiot for at least a second and he probably wouldn't have made it as far as he did.

Watching this live was so scary.
Bret Hart has head injuries and later on the stroke that caused him permanent damage. When he returned in 2010, he had a very limited contact rule in the ring, and any time he was knocked to the mat, it was with a body shot to not risk anything happening to his head. That was nearly 10 years ago...and for some crazed idiot to charge at him and violently pull him down (with Nattie) was reckless and tasteless. If Bret hit his head on the mat or the ring post, he may not have gotten up to finish his speech. For him to go through that, to be okay, and to just brush it off and finish giving tribute to The Anvil was inspiring.
