Figured it deserved it’s own thread as the dude had one hell of a career and last match, glad he’s currently killing it in Hollywood because this guys earned everything he’s worked for 👏🏽

One of my favorites ever. Hated him as a teenager until I attended WM23 live and saw the absolute classic he and Taker had. Made me a fan forever after that, not to mention one of the most badass themes ever in wrestling.

He's been amazing, his whole time in WWE has been really good. I was never bored with his character. He always seemed over with the fans and he delivered when it mattered. I'm glad we get to see him Hollywood.

I was never a fan but grew to appreciate him during his last return. he clearly loves wrestling, and so it’s cool to see him go out with a proper bang. if you’d told me Batista would get a better send off than Kurt Angle 15 years ago I would’ve laughed.

I've never understood why people wanted to end their careers doing the job. I understand leaving the company but if it's my last time, I want things to end positive.

Their match was better than I expected. Hopefully big Dave goes into the HOF soon.

I had figured it was going to be his final match. I mean didn't he say the only reason he would ever come back, would be if it was his final match, and against Triple H?

Thought that last night went great in terms of a final match for him.For two guys that are 50 one that's been basically retired for nine years baring a few months and the other a guy who's coming off a serious arm injury it went really well. Both pulled out a hell of a brawl and delivered some new sick spots and took some serious bumps.Glad that Batista got that one final match to retire on his terms and cameback one last time and gave his fans and the majority of wrestling fans what they wanted.
Pretty safe bet that he'll be the headliner for the HOF next year in Tampa.
bty last night kind felt like and ending of and era with both Angle & Batista retiring,no Undertaker,Cena not having match up...ect

Batista is a real one. Fantastic career. His HoF speech better end with him taking out a ruler to settle the debate once and for all.

An absolute legend. So underrated when it comes to in-ring work. I'm happy he got the sendoff he wanted. He didn't deserve the grief he got from fans years prior. I'm happy he came back and ended his career on a high note. Plus, I loved the match last night. I'd love to see him as GM or something. Plus, this sets up his HOF induction next year. Well-deserved!

Thank you Batista for the memories. I'll never forget the night you chose Triple H as your WM opponent or "Duct tape? Are you kidding me? DUCT TAPE?!?!?" Get back to making awesome GOTG movies and enjoy your HoF induction next year or whenever it happens.

I've never understood why people wanted to end their careers doing the job. I understand leaving the company but if it's my last time, I want things to end positive. As a fellow old school fan, you're questioning a time-honored tradition like that?! I don't have to go into the "why" because i know you get it, but this is the way to invest in the future. Granted it should be to someone who can carry the torch, but I think Creative wrote themselves into a corner with Baron because from a story line perspective, he was the only choice since he was Kurt's antagonist for the last two years. Likewise Batista has already beaten HHH at 3 previous PPVs, so he's got nothing to gain and going out on his back helps Trips when the next legend challenges him at WM36. It's like back in the territory days, The big major star/attraction would job to the local hero before moving on to the next town. You give it back to the business.

memorable way to go out. slipping/botching his entrance, but recovered to have decent brawl-match with one of the alltime greats. its too bad his most recent run (the blue-tista era) ended the way it did, i would have liked to have seen him gotten a little more out of it. but overall the guy had a damn good career, will easily be in the HOF (probably next year actually) and it was enjoyable to watch him ascend the ladder of success

Really loved watching Batistas career. He was always one of my favorites! Deacon Bautista was intriguing, Evolution Batista was a beast, the angle where he broke away from evolution was done perfectly, and his 2010 heeltista was great. Awesome career and he will be missed in the ring.....
But seriously what’s with the newer tattoos. Awful

Hell of a run. He wanted one last match and he delivered. Glad to see he went out on his terms.
