Coming to you LIVE from the house that Jerry built, AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas:
SuperBrawl X
"The Show of Shows"
"The Grandest Stage of Them All"
It doesn't get any bigger or better than SuperBrawl and the tenth edition is sure to give you all the thrills and chills you can possibly want.
Grudges will be settled.
Titles will be defended.
Careers will be defined... and ended!
Yes, we have a theme song for the show:
And how about some matches too? That seems like a good idea!
Billy Broom vs Ryan "Needles" Payne No Holds Barred, Falls Count AnywhereBilly Broom is the nicest wrestler on the roster and a popular fan favorite, at least partially due to his reasons for getting in the ring in the first place. Billy is a loving father who puts his body in harms way so she can have a better life. Then along comes someone like Ryan "Needles" Payne, a sadistic psychopath who has no qualms about using Billy's love of his daughter against him. They've clashed in the past but this time it's not a wrestling match. It will be war as the proud Army veteran will be fighting for his daughter's honor against a man who excels when the rules don't matter. We have a strong feeling that the winner will be the one who sheds the most blood.
Vanguard Championship Anna Ahriman vs Mesh(c) Ultraviolent Playground Match
Mesh is the blue haired pixie with the positive attitude who has danced her way into the hearts of WFWF fans everywhere. She is also the first and only Vanguard Champion. Mesh has everything going for her heading into what should be the ultimate stage for her to showcase her talents: SuperBrawl X. Anna Ahriman is the daughter of WFWF great Samael Ahriman. She is a talented wrestler in her own right despite infrequent matches with mixed results. Lately it seems like her "royal blood" has gone to Anna's head as she has bullied her way with Lila Sleater so she could get what she wanted: an "Ultraviolent Playground Match" against the Vanguard Champion Mesh. We're not even sure what an "Ultraviolent Playground Match" is but we do know it won't be pretty. It will be the most brutal title defense of Mesh's career. Mesh said she likes it hardcore. This match will be her chance to prove it against the daughter of a man who brought a f***ing sword to the ring. Now that's hardcore! We are fairly sure that the apple didn't fall too far from the tree so Mesh better watch out for Anna Ahriman.
International Championship Tyler Draven vs Ante Whitner vs Frank Lynn(c) Ladder Match
Frank Lynn has held onto the International Championship for over 400 days, making him one of the longest reigning champions in the history of the WFWF. Life hasn't always been this good for the "Lethal Weapon". At SuperBrawl IX, he lost in a ladder match for the Golden Opportunity. Frank wants to rewrite history, wiping that loss from the record books by winning a ladder match at SuperBrawl. He demanded it... but will it be too much for him? Will he retain his iron grip on the International Championship or will he once again be looking up at somebody else a top the ladder? Ante Whitner was the man who did win the ladder match at SuperBrawl IX. He was the one standing on top of the ladder holding the Golden Opportunity asking the fans "Are you with me?" Then it all came crashing down. Frank Lynn took the Golden Opportunity from Ante. Frank has beaten Ante on several occasions since SuperBrawl IX in what is one of the most heated rivalries of the past two years. Now Ante is on a quest for redemption and Frank Lynn is once again standing in his way. Can he climb the ladder and claim the International Championship? Tyler Draven is the monkey wrench in the match, the random element that makes it so much more than another installment in the Lynn/Whitner feud. Tyler made a huge first impression when he put his mentor Trace Demon into a coma with a barbwire baseball bat. Tyler can tell us to stop mentioning it, to forget it ever happened, but that's not how this works. Until he steps up and makes his mark in some other way, his heinous assault on Trace Demon is what he will be remembered for. That is why Tyler needs to win this match. Claiming his first title in a ladder match at SuperBrawl X against two of the top names in the company might be enough to erase the memory of Trace Demon laying on the mat at his feet with his brains spilling out. Three men, each one on a mission. Only one will succeed. Will it be the current champion Frank Lynn? Will it be his greatest rival Ante Whitner? Or will it be the rookie on the rise Tyler Draven?
WFWF World Heavyweight Championship Kyzer vs Drakz(c) Loser leaves the WFWF Forever!Do we even have to sell you on this match? It's Drakz vs Kyzer! Two of the greatest wrestlers of all time meeting head to head in their first, last, and only singles match for the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship. As if that wasn't high enough stakes, the loser has to leave the WFWF FOREVER! It's a once in a lifetime main event that could only happen at SuperBrawl X! (And we really mean that. No twice in a lifetime crap from the WFWF.)If you aren't excited for this match then nothing we can say will change your mind. If you aren't excited for this match then you should go to your doctor for a physical. Your heart may have stopped beating. JUST ADDED! Penny Shannon Open Challenge!
Former WFWF World Heavyweight Champion Penny Shannon (yes, we love saying that because it will piss off Drakz) didn't take kindly to being left off the SuperBrawl X card so she took matters into her own hands, issuing an open challenge via Twitter. Lila made a few quick calls and found her an opponent but she's not telling anybody who it is. #ItsASurprise----------- RP Deadline: Sunday May 5th Match/Segment Deadline: Wednesday May 8th

Feel free to volunteer and I'll pencil you in: Broom vs Needles: Drakz Shannon vs ??: ?? Mesh vs Anna Ahriman: @ballparkb0b / bad guy™ Lynn vs Whitner vs Draven: King Richius Drakz vs Kyzer: King Richius

I'm happy for King Richius. He finally got a poster to go live with the creepy floating Kyzer head.

so with Superbrawl being our Wrestlemania, does that mean it's Hall of Fame time again?
Cause that's gone so well every time it's been tried recently

I'm happy for King Richius . He finally got a poster to go live with the creepy floating Kyzer head. I got to use a creepy floating Drakz head too. BONUS! But did you see the pics I ended up using for their match graphic? You'd think that for two prominent actors I could find at least one "tough guy" image to use for each but nope. Kyzer looks like he just got asked "Boxers or briefs" while Drakz is watching grass grow between his toes. And don't get me started on trying to find a bad ass pic of bad guy™ 's pic base, not unless her gimmick is Comic Con cosplayer for Game of Thrones or X-Men. The moral of the story: if you want cool graphics, choose a wrestler/mma fighter/boxer for your pic base. Just look at the awesome match graphic for the ladder match.

The Anna/Mesh one looks a bit odd but good job nonetheless. I have to disagree on Stephen Dorff and "tough guy" pictures of him. I have like, twenty or so pictures of him on my computer where I think he looks like an old douchebag ( Kyzer's words) just in case I need stuff for WFWF related posts. Drakz is probably the hardest to find pictures for because he's based on a character from a movie, not the actor so he has a certain look that Kim Rossi Stuart himself doesn't rock in real life so at best, there's....maybe 1-2 good pictures for him unless you're a Photoshop God like CM Poor and can make your own. All in all, I'm excited about participating at this show. I'm actually a part of it and not just reading about it, ya know? I've had a blast here and I hope that SuperBrawl X isn't Mesh's last Edit: isn't it supposed to be a Ultraviolent Playground Match?

I've actually never made a poster with Drakz on it, largely for that reason. I tried my hand on one once for Black Hole Sun, and it was the drizzlings. Kyzer has always been the thorn in my side, largely on account of my insistence at doing most of my own cuts, and Dorff having that dorffbag haircut.

Funny you mention his hair, it was the hair that made me first think he was perfect as Kyzer.

Edit: isn't it supposed to be a Ultraviolent Playground Match? Ugh. My bad. Ultraviolent... ultimate... both start with "ult". Chalk it up as Lila not wanting the word "ultraviolent" on any marketing materials. Or to me putting graphics together at 3 am.

Made me think of "Crazy Train", which is rather apropos for this show. I've already got people submitting segments... as if my old ass is gonna' remember them when the show gets put together in 3-4 weeks!
