I watched that Dark Side of the Ring documentary about Brody. Some things I didn't know. I had no idea that Gorilla Monsoon was 1/3 owner of the WWC with Carlos and Victor. That one shocked me. But I also didn't know that Brody had plans to buy that 1/3 off Monsoon by the sounds of it.
But what I don't get is that Abdullah says in that documentary that he didn't go to this meeting that he was supposedly at, because he was 5% owner of WWC.
It got me thinking.... I wonder if Abdullah the Butcher was in on Brody's death too?? I just got a weird feeling from the guy in watching that documentary that he may have known more than he is letting on.

I remember hearing way back in the day Gorilla owning a piece of WWC but forgot all about it until this doc came out. It makes sense though as I do recall the WWF running a show in San Juan in the mid-80s. Gorilla was solo on commentary. I remember them airing it on the old 24/7 channel.
As far as Abdullah goes, I wouldn't be surprised if he was in on it.This is the same guy who bled on wrestlers knowing he had Hep C.

It's crazy how this happened, and even crazier that no one was ever punished.
Brody's son has a reason to be angry & somewhat vengeful.

After watching that documentary I now feel like he was in on it.

I dont feel like Abby was in on the murder but I absolutely think he was in on the cover up of it. I feel like Colon got to him early and was like "you're an owner here and if this gets out it could shut this place down & thus shutting down your investment". Abby agreed to stay silent about it, Carlos bought him out and they went their separate ways.
That being said, I never realize how much Carlos Colon was involved in it. Im really disappointed that nobody at any point got a receipt for Brody from either Invader or Colon.

With Abdullah, Colon etc, I feel they probably do know more than hey are letting on, but due to the time, probably kept quiet for Kayfabe reasons. What happens behind the scenes stays there etc.

I think Cornette. When WWE was going to San Juan Gorilla had to go apologize himself as he had a stake in the company, but was coming with WWF to potentially steal business from them for that weekend or whatever. This is a huge paraphrase as I don't recall the exact details. But Gorilla did have a stake is the point.

I think he was in on it. Abdullah has proven time and again that he’s not to be trusted.

I don't know if he was in on the murder, he 100% was in on the cover up though.

I feel like this is probably accurate. to a degree you can’t blame Abdullah, he could’ve been next...but Brody clearly deserved far better.

Whether or not Butcher, was in on it, who knows. But the way he responded and was portrayed in the Viceland piece, he certainly came off looking like he knew more than he was saying.

Saw the documentary and I dont think Abdullah was ‘in’ on the murder but perhaps helped cover up the loose ends

I don't think he was necessarily in on it. I think more than anything he was complacent. He might have known "something" was going down, but he turned a blind eye to it. That's the impression I got from how he acted in the episode.
