A nice, fancy video doesn't change the fact that he was boring as over the last five years.

This is all a work to setup an invasion angle for Summerslam, where Dean Ambrose will return and betray AEW. Vince sent him over there to infiltrate the company and POISON THEM! BY GAWD VINCE IS A GENIUS!

And he also showed many times he was lazy by phoning in moves and matches. As soon as he became the wwe Champion he did exactly was Austin said he didn’t want to see happen and that was become complacent. People blame Vince and the writers but they weren’t the ones in the ring going through the motions. That was all on him. I don’t give a cr@p if he is booked to lose every single match it’s still his job that he got paid well for to go out and give his best effort to entertain the crowd that paid to see him. And he didn’t put in the effort he just went through the motions.

There was absolutely nothing about Dean Ambrose's character or ring work that I found appealing in WWE. For a guy who they were constantly screaming about being the lunatic fringe, he seemed far from unpredictable or out of control. Part of that is the performer and part of that was probably WWE's writing and presentation of the character. The gimmick and character just felt like a bad fit for the modern WWE environment, though obviously he won over quite a few fans.
I'm willing to give Jon Moxley a chance in AEW. Maybe their approach will bring out something that was missing in WWE, maybe not. A program with Jimmy Havoc will definitely be something to see, if only for the chaos.

Lesnar could have least played ball with Ambrose and make him look good but he didn't, so Its WWE's fault

Maybe a change of scenery will do him good but i honestly never saw anything special in him. He seemed like just another generic guy in Wwe. I never watched his Indy work so I won’t comment on it but his wwe stuff was a lot of nothing to me

It was only made worse by JRs commentary. "twinkle in his eye."

It’s really not hard to do when your employer is paying you good money to do it. Can't blame him because Lesnar made him look like a joke in their match. I'd be phoning it too. Lesnar could have least played ball with Ambrose and make him look good but he didn't, so Its WWE's fault Lesnar could have but it’s WWE’s fault? Seems like it’s Lesnar’s fault to me. At the end of the day he is getting paid to do a job. Wins and losses do not count. It’s scripted. Go out and put on the best show possible. That’s what people pay to see If Vince wanted that WM match vs Brock to go any differently then what it did it would have. They are both employees who have jobs to do. At the end of the day if Vince wanted/liked what Ambrose was proposing it would have been in the match. Lesnar could have least played ball with Ambrose and make him look good but he didn't, so Its WWE's fault No when it comes to his performance it’s all on Ambrose. He’s not the owner of the company he was hired to entertain the crowd. It doesn’t matter if Brock didn’t want to do things that Ambrose wanted to do. If Vince wasn’t OK with it things would have been different. But clearly Vince was OK with what the match was going to be. So then it was Dean’s responsibly to go out there and give 100% effort to entertain the crowd, because it’s his job and he was paid to do it.

I'm absolutely stoked that he went to AEW and I'll be able to see him weekly on TV come the fall. That pop he got last night was huge. As a fan of Ambrose/Moxley, I really feel like this is the best thing that could've happened for him. I have said for years that this guy could be a star if he was allowed to be himself and lead a company, and this feels like he's finally getting that opportunity for the first time.

I saw highlights and thought it was cool. His timing with the Dirty Deeds to Jericho was executed poorly, but besides that, I thought he seemed reinvigorated.
As whether or not it was the right move... time will tell. Things may change once the weekly shows are booked and TNT gets involved.
However I don't think that this is the "End of WWE" or "WWE will humiliate Renee on live TV" like others online have said. That's dumb. Don't be dumb.
