6 or so months ago he was getting injections into his ass and was seen as a joke of a heel. Fast Forward to today... He's probably the hottest wrestler in the world right now, the talk of the Wrestling world, and has a whole thread dedicated to him. Hi Injections for what? I'm a bit out of the loop.

The podcast was great, Moxley really went into a ton of detail about how screwed up things are backstage and flat out said the company had zero plans for him after The Shield broke up and he feuded with Rollins the first time. He also confirmed that he basically never had creative control like was previously alluded to on Austin's podcast and that he hated doing all the zany stuff that Vince wanted him to do just because it would make him laugh. Just incredible stuff, really. Reminded me a lot of Punk, where you have this guy who just wanted to wrestle and within the span of a few years the WWE completely killed his joy for it. I'm sure some people will just gloss over everything he said and call him bitter, though.

We've heard plenty of writers\creative members, fans repeat the same sentiment and have it dismissed as whining just to whine or just bitterness.

I think Moxley is going to gain "CM Punk" like internet hype. If Moxley trained Muay Thai for 6 months, he would fare better in MMA than CM Punk did.

Regardless of how anybody feels about Ambrose or AEW, you have to respect him for changing a situation he was unhappy in. How many people bitch about their jobs but don’t take risks to better their situation?

Moxley/Ambrose confirming everything I've felt about that company for the past couple of years.
“If I have something to prove, it’s that I want to prove that your creative process -- the WWE’s creative process -- sucks. It does not work. It’s absolutely terrible. I’ve said that to Vince; I’ve said that to Hunter. ... It doesn’t work. It’s killing the company.”
"I’ll put a challenge out to (Vince) right now: Your creative process sucks. Change it.”
I'm not a "hater" ... I want nothing more than for WWE to be awesome. But it is absolutely unwatchable these days and I hope stuff like this gives it the kick it needs to get its house in order. Thank god we have alternatives right now we can watch.

How many people bitch about their jobs but don’t take risks to better their situation? What makes it even better is that he did not bitch about it. Unlike the Revival, Sasha, Harper, and others, Dean performed without complaining. Went in, did the job he was asked, and left. He didn't whine like Jericho about putting others over. He didn't pitch fits. He behaved professionally and allowed his contract to expire.

How many people bitch about their jobs but don’t take risks to better their situation? Reminds me of Christian jumping to TNA back in 2005. The man knew Vince had no plans for him what so ever and decided to make a move himself. I think what he said in the podcast is what a lot of guys under contract in the WWE feel. Unless you’re a chosen one of Vince, you’ll never break their glass ceiling. A lot of it had to do with the timing of his contract but I think a lot more performers will be opening up and leaving the WWE in the next few years if things done change. There’s too many options in today’s wrestling landscape.

Moxley confirms everything we have heard. It makes me wish WCW won the Monday night wars.

I don't listen to many wrestling podcasts but like this one. Moxley sounded professional and truthful.

Would really like to know what it was that he refused to say about Roman and cancer. Vince has such a hard on for Roman and to get him over, he was willing to offened pretty much everyone in the world. Risk losing sponsors and bad press just to get a lump of wood over.
Never a fan of Ambrose, but will give my respects of how he dealt with everything, stuck up for his friend, and still worked to the last day of contract. Hope we can see him shine in AEW.
And Im still surprised that people are shocked that Vince is like this, and wwe is a toxic place to be unless you are a kiss ass.

Thought it was interesting that Moxley seemingly took a shot at Austin from back when he was on Austin's podcast and Austin challenged him to push the envelope and not get complacent when he became WWE Champion. Moxley said something along the lines of "some of these legends just don't get it" and it seems like he was fighting an uphill battle from day one and could only do so much. He even referenced being unhappy as far back as 2014 when they did that spot in Brooklyn where he came into the arena with a hotdog cart and squirted ketchup and mustard bottles at both Kane and Rollins.

I’m just happy some exciting things are happening in wrestling. I’ve never been a big fan of Moxley, but it’s hard not to get behind seeing someone come out of their shell and get to actually pursue their passion.
as jericho alluded to, it’s only reasonable to think 20 years of no competition and surrounded by yes men would make anyone complacent. especially if your company was still growing despite the issues.
all fans benefit from things being shook up a bit.

Moxley comparing himself leaving the WWE to the end of Harry and the Hendersons was gold. I was cracking up for a while but it’s a great analogy.
I’m glad he’s happy now and hope he succeeds in his future adventures. It’s a shame that the WWE completely killed Punk’s passion for the business but atleast Moxley still cares about this and the product he produces for us.
