Is the entire line trashed? No, not if you only collect basics, otherwise, yes. I honestly don't even think the Ultimates will make it to Target and Walmart.

That Seth Rollins figure is an embarrassment. I can accept that they gave him that attire. He did briefly wear the attire again during the summer of 2018. HOWEVER, that headscan should NEVER, EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER be released again. Ever. Ever. EEEEEEVER. The fact that Top Talents 1, Elite 64, multiple Basics and a Battlepack have all been released with the NEW Seth Rollins headscan.....WHY go back to the old one? I call "Spreadsheets" on this one because somebody just looked at the attire and was like, "oh, we did that same attire for Elite 52" and just cranked out the same figure, including the headscan that was used because it was too much trouble to add the new head I guess. AT LEAST they added the Monday Night Rollins shirt instead of the vest again....it's the figures ONLY redeeming quality, but probably not enough for a $19.99 purchase on a figure essentially EVERYONE has. It’s not the e52 head it’s the NXT elite head and that’s why it should never be used. He hasn’t worn his hair like that since 2012. It’s always slicked back now. Would’ve been better on e33 but he literally has never had all black hair that length and in his face his whole WWE run.

That doesn't necessarily lead to them ordering more if their shelves are stuffed with these. They don’t order anything anyway it’s automated. Once the item dpci hit 3 or less pieces in their system the distribution center automatically ships more product. So if they aren’t getting more regular Elites that means there’s more than 3 in the store. If they aren’t on the shelf have someone scan the regular elite dpci and if they say there’s none in the back you can ask them or the manager (if they say they can’t) to manually update the inventory to zero so the system will order more. I have done that with both Mattel’s DC Multiverse and Batman Missions lines. PJ, in theory, you’re right. In practically, you’re wrong. It doesn’t matter what number they’re under because the shelving is what truly determines what gets ordered/how much. And in most Targets the WWE section is tiny. Targets never get the Wrestlemania elites. It’s not because they’re Walmart exclusives. They aren’t; it’s because none of the Targets have room for them.

No.
How many times do we have to go over this? The Top Talents line is NOT FOR US collectors on a wrestling figures message board. It is for new folks who might want to become collectors and pick up one of WWE's top characters. It's the old He-Man rule -- you're not going to get new collectors if you can never find He-Man anywhere and can only find more niche characters.
This is not a series for us. It is for them. Don't worry about it!

The rubber shirt is absolute garbage. It even seems to have the exact same size as the Elite 68 one and that was way to big and unproportional. The only worse one I've ever seen was the ECW Matt Hardy shirt. That was a slap in my face and went straight into the garbage can.

But they have separate pegs for Top Talent Elites, Elites and NXT Elites. If the wrong product is on the pegs let the employee know and have them scan the peg for the figures you are looking for. If they have any in back ask them to pull it because there’s none on the pegs and if there’s none in the back then keep checking Brickseek or Popfindr as they’ll get them in stock soon.

I don't care much for the older scans as they're not inaccurate. Rollins' gear is current as he still wears it at times. He wore these tights not even that long ago.
Braun being the same as E68 is definitely a face-palm.

Just point out to the employee that the Top Talent figures are placed on the wrong pegs.

I think releasing the same superstars over again is a bad move especially since many stores still have plenty of series 1 left.

Every walmart and target i habe been to has a ton of these rotting on the pegs.
I don't see the point of the elites and basics having almost the exact same 4 characters.
If these are meant for kids/novice wrestling fans wouldn't they go for the cheaper figure of the exact same wrestler ??
I am gonna go out on a limb and say in a few months these "top talents" are gonna pop up in big lots, 5 below, etc.
It's also very dumb to have the same 4 people in a series of figures as the last set.

Its a money maker, thats why it exists, Mattel dont really care if those on a forum dislike the choices, kids love em, and thats the market, anyone who thinks mattel really care what members on here say are mistaken Welcome back👍

How many people just in this topic alone are saying they are clogging the shelf. That’s what they are supposed to do be on the shelves for the kids and new collectors who want their first. They need to have made enough to last on the shelves until Series 2 hits. Judging from the amount of Styles left compared to the other three they have restocked these quite a few times seeing there’s two of everyone in the cases. So if there’s ten + Styles on the pegs that means there’s been 5 cases stocked. Maybe they made a mistake putting Styles in the set because judging from what is on the pegs he’s the one not moving compared to the rest. Which is surprising to me because I would have thought it would be Strowman.

That's ... what ... they're ... supposed ... to ... do. They're supposed to sit on shelves. So there's always something there for a new fan to grab. The He-Man line famously died back in the day when all that was available were lesser known characters and no He-Man for kids to buy. I'm actually amazed it's taken Mattel this long to incorporate this concept. Again, IT'S NOT FOR US on a wrestling figures message board. It's for random people with kids who will go, "Hey, A.J. Styles!" and buy their first wrestling fig.
