I have noticed that some of the former Toys "R" Us stores have now been turned into new Big Lots stores and so it makes me wonder if TRU gave Big Lots money to use their former stores to transform them into Big Lots stores? The first former Toys "R" Us in California to have become a new Big Lots store is located in Fresno and opened up last year and so it makes me wonder if Salinas will also gain a new Big Lots location in their former TRU building as well? Yesterday when I was having my hotel room cleaned my housekeeper told me that Big Lots is planning to expand their stores in bigger buildings and she claimed that Northridge Mall has already planned to turn the former TRU in Salinas into a Big Lots or another store. If this is true I wonder if these new Big Lots will have a bigger toy selection with loads of WWE figures in them

Usually Big Lots doesn't build their own stores. They move into former retail spaces. The toy dept won't be bigger since Big Lots 1 toy isle

Yes. They will be called Bigger Lots. The plan is to also eventually buy out failing malls and call them Biggerest Lots. I fear one day the country and possibly the world will be overrun by a continuous flow of Big, Bigger and Biggerest Lots, to the point we wont even know where one Lot ends and another begins.
Truly trying times are soon to be upon us.
