JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA — The Saudi General Sports Authority will host WWE Super ShowDown at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, June 7, at 9 p.m. AST, and feature the first-ever match between WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg and Undertaker. In addition, the event will include Triple H vs. Randy Orton, as they create another chapter of their storied rivalry, and a 50-Man Battle Royal — the largest in WWE history.
So Goldberg vs. the Undertaker, a huge match shame it is eighteen years too late.

They're recycling the Australia show name? WWE has really gotten out of hand with these part timer matches. Throwing 50 guys into a battle royal, which by definition means they all start in the ring is just stupid.

HHH versus Orton. Now there's a fresh matchup.
Most of the record-setting Battle Royals prove that quantity isn't always better. All it does is force them to add a bunch of nobodies that don't have a shot in hell at winning. Can't wait to see Sumi again.
And I'm not even sure Goldberg versus The Undertaker would've been good in 1999 let alone 2019. Their styles just look like they wouldn't mesh well at all.
Not trying to be a negative Nancy, but this show doesn't sound very good. If the crowd is as dead as it was last time it might be even worse.

Ehhhh, I'm not a big fan of this match up. Goldberg vs Undertaker is a no-win situation for WWE.
If Goldberg loses, you take the piss right out of Goldberg's return. If Undertaker loses, he'll have lost his last 3 matches.
I think it would have been a whole lot better if Undertaker and Goldberg just won squash matches where all they did was their entrances, signature, and finishing moves. That way everyone goes home happy.
So what was the point of Undertaker attacking Elias? I figured they would be fighting at this show. Taker could have taken him out real quick and it really wouldn't have hurt Elias because all he does is lose anyway.
And Goldberg could have beaten somebody irrelevant like Rusev real quick. Again, would have done Rusev NO damage because he's not a winner on TV.
And Triple H and Randy Orton didn't have chemistry 10 years ago. This will NOT be a good match now.

Sounds like a decent line up to me. Sure Goldberg vs Taker is way too late. But better late than never I suppose.

It must admit I'm looking forward to the build up of Goldberg and Takers match. I would be surprised if there was any build aside from advertising the match is happening We know there is no storyline or feud behind the show it is simply a cash-grab, plus given none of the women will be competing I can't see WWE promoting the Saudi show too much on Raw/SD I didnt really pay much attention to the Crown Jewel show either, but I dont recall much or any build for DX v Brothers of Destruction or the appearance of Hulk Hogan

I'd say triple h and taker still have a few years left in them with the part-time appearances but sting Hogan flair maybe one or two matches tops. with sting I'd say it would mostly likely only be that match with taker and he's done/retired after that

So what if the Saudis and the prince seriously want to see some crazy dream/weird/impossible/stupid matches take place??? Austin vs Rock again? Austin vs Hogan? HBK vs Rock? HBK vs Bryan? CM Punk? Angle to wrestle again? Batista to wrestle again? Flair to wrestle again? Taker vs Sting? Cena vs Rock again? Foley in another HIAC?
It sounds crazy but for the BIG load of money being thrown around, I doubt Vince and the legends mentioned above would actually turn down these offers. I'd personally love to make the easiest couple million dollars of my life... just to wrestle a 10/15 minute match hahahaaa.
