I read Bret Hart's book back in 2007 when it came out, and I read the stuff he wrote in regards of Tom Magee. And I did see one match of his against a jobber from an old WWF TV show, but that's all I ever saw.
I didn't realize he was with the WWE from 1986 - 1990, and that he wrestled the likes of Arn Anderson and Ted DiBiase as well. He even wrestled Bret Hart again in May of 1989 as a heel this time, called Mega Man Magee and his manager was Jimmy Hart.
So why didn't Vince just put him on TV and give him an IC Title run at least?? It seemed that once the Ultimate Warrior came into the WWE, Vince went with him over Magee. At least that's the impression that I get.
Anyone else shocked to know that Tom Magee was employed for three plus years in the WWE back in the late 80s/early 90s??

With his bodybuilding history I'm surprised Vince didn't give him an IC Title run like you said.To be honest I don't recall ever seeing him on TV in those 4 years he was there.

OK I don’t want to say anything, but when I was last on yesterday I know there was a thread about the lost match with Bret. Where did that go? Did something happen yesterday that got it deleted by an Admin? Or am I just losing my mind?! lol

He was never on TV and the WWE encyclopedia and Bret hart's autobiography are the only reasons I heard of him

Actually it was just a reply on page 5 in the “what do you think of Bret Hart”. I mistook it as it’s own thread and was going crazy trying to find it. lol

There is a match v Arn Anderson on YouTube and it has foreign commentary on it so may have appeared on an international tv station. Also, a match v Terry Gibbs that has commentary as well, so may have been on a show as well.
But that’s purely based on the fact both matches have been taped and commentated on, they may have never seen the light of day at the time.

Does anybody else think Tom Magee looks like Conan Chris Walker of GWF and early 90s WWF fame?

Does anybody else think Tom Magee looks like Conan Chris Walker of GWF and early 90s WWF fame? there’s a slight resemblance, especially with the curly hair apparently Magee was beaten badly by 6 other men over a parking spot only a year ago: www.google.ca/amp/s/www.thescore.com/wwe/news/1546877/amp

Why the heck did he deserve a IC title run? ? He had no charisma, he was dull as dirt, very limited in everything, and just not good enough. And yea, yea, "WELL THAT WAS EVERYONE IN THE WWF THEN AND NOW?!?!? DUURRRRRR!!!!"
