I’m so computer illiterate that I could never figure out how to get the mods to work. I’ve thought about giving it another go. My goal is to figure it out sometime before the N64 Classic is released and then figure out how to make it playable on that.

Was able to get this TNA one to work that I have been dying to play and it is SO MUCH FUN. The roster also RULES on this game, has everyone you could think of with different arenas too.

I'm not really a huge N64 fan but I would definitely grab a classic if we could get these modded wrestling games on there. Really no wrestling games have been as good as this for me ever since. How possible do you think that is? Have you seen people discussing it somewhere?

Well, mods like this use a combination of codes for the built in gameshark the emulator uses to make up the moveset hacks, as well as custom textures which are applied through a plugin. Since the mods are dependent on the emulator and wouldn't work on the actual hardware, the mods would almost probably not work on an n64 mini. There is a rom hack of VPW 2 though that's currently in development that is being made to work on actual hardware. He's using assets from other AKI games to build a roster with all the top guys from the 90s, as well as guys that never made it in one. It's amazing and I recommend everyone who loves the n64 games look into it.

If you want to wait, the next release will be out on the 20th vpw.ajworld.net/vpw2freem/
