Hey peeps - I recently had this e-mail from WWE:
Our goal is always to provide you with the best possible viewing experience on WWE Network. Unfortunately, several device manufacturers have stopped updating the operating system of older products, which may impact your ability to stream high-quality video. As such, the WWE Network app will no longer be available on the devices listed below starting tomorrow:
• Amazon Fire Tablets • Apple TV - 3rd Generation and earlier models • LG TV - 2016 and earlier models • PlayStation 3 • Samsung TV - 2016 and earlier models • Samsung and Sony Blu-Ray Players • Sony - non Android TVs • Windows 10 PCs and Tablets* • Xbox 360
You can stream WWE Network on many other supported devices. For a full list, please visit WWE Network Support.
Sincerely, WWE Network Support
I've been watching The Network on Apple TV (3rd gen) for the past 3-4 years - and sod's law, it's one of the devices which is affected...
So I was wondering how my fellow UKers watch the Network - and what the best method/device is? Ideally I'm looking at something under £50 to just plug into the TV... any recommendations? (or anything to avoid?)
Thanks.

I have one of those Amazon Fire boxes, and when I watch at my Mum’s I use her Fire stick. I have no complaints of either, both work fine!

I use the Amazon Fire Stick, and it’s great. Got WWE Network, YouTube, Netflix & Twitch on it. Perfect for me, and it’s not that expensive.

I’m shocked XBox One isn’t on there. I stream with it and it sucks! It’s not my WiFi either. The Network will glitch or stop all together if there is another device on WiFi. Or sometimes it’ll just stop when it wants to. It’s the only app that does that, Hulu and Netflix work just fine.

I mainly use PS4 to watch the WWE Network, but I watch it on my Fire Stick if I need to move my TV into a larger room to watch with friends. If you're after a Fire Stick, it's currently 20-25% off, depending on which version you want.

Currently using laptop hooked to TV. Firestick passed away a few weeks ago.
I wish Now TV boxes could stream the network! Can anybody recommend a cheap Roku to me please?

Xbox One for me. All my TV apps stream well on there, if I’m honest.

I'm still able to use it on the PS3 🤷♂️ when my PS3 decides it wants to work that is.

Thanks for the replies, guys.
Also - is there any way of watching the Network (on TV) so it has that live/sports broadcast look (like how it is on Sky), rather than the film-like look it has over the internet? I hope you understand what I mean... I know some people don't mind (or even notice) the difference, but I would much prefer the live/sports look if possible(?).

Streaming never quite has the flow of actual live TV. Busy lighting/fireworks/confetti in particular look rough on the the Network for me. Same goes for streaming live football. I could walk into the room and tell straight away its not on a regular TV channel. I believe the WWE Network is treated more like a live TV station in Canada? Not the UK though.

Same price in the likes of Argos, Tesco and Currys if you just want to walk into a shop and get one.

You could try playing around with your TV's settings, specifically settings around "motion smoothing" or anything worded very similarly to that. Your TV might have a sports mode. I think the issue possibly stems from WWE Network content playing at a US framerate though, and I'm not sure there's any way to change that.
