I'm definetly not interested in a super stylised approach or limited articulation glorified statues. They have to go big or go home, imo. The traditional 6" fully articulated action figure line is the only way I'd be on board. Even TNA was able to do that, so I don't see why a company with the money of the Khan family and a cable network on par if not bigger than what WWE airs on couldn't. Hasbro would be the biggest option, comparable to WWE/Mattel...so that would probably be ideal. I'm not sure when they'd actually get product on store shelves, consdering they're a different beast than TNA was/is. AEW has been able to announce a deal with a top tier network within a few months of the company's official exsistence. I wouldn't put it past them to do the same with a toy deal within a year. Didn't it take TNA 3 years after they started to put out their Toy Biz/Marvel line? I think we could see AEW action figures available for purchase much sooner than you think. 100% agreed! I have literally -zero- interest in figured you cant wrestle with lol

Whoever makes these, I'd love to have the figure of the first AEW World Champion, and the first WWF / WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho!!
If I were AEW, I would make them 7 inches, just to be slightly taller than WWE figures. I think that would be a great shot at the E.
I can't wait to see the other AEW Championship Title Belts!! Tag Team and Women's are a given, but what other Championship Titles do you think AEW will create?? I'm thinking Women's Tag Team will be on the list. What do you think their Mid-Card Championship Title will be??

can't we just make a list of wrestlers who were already done by WWE Mattel that are now in AEW? much easier!

Just give me AEW wrestlers in similar style to Elites in the same scale and I'll be happy. I don't care which company puts them out. I don't think they will get anything going though until the TNT show starts though. Probably won't be any figures until at least sometime into 2020 at the earliest I would think. Yeah the LJN style is cool for a collectible, but not for their main line of figures. I would certainly pick up an LJN Jericho for sure.

I think with how they wanna be competition with wwe they should go with someone like hasbro that way they have a similar product to Mattel or better in some cases. Just like how toybiz got the upper hand on jakks during the wcw days.

I think theres no market for them. Other than the few collectors on here who want them, i cant imagine kids buying them, i see basics hanging around long enough, the last thing the toy market needs is more figures from another wrestling company.

I know this isn’t what most people in here want, but I’m hoping we get more Pop Vinyls. While the Cody/Kenny/Bucks set had NJPW logos and etc, the Nucks were the ones who brokered the deal, so hopefully they still have a relationship with Funko. If they just repainted those four, they could probably get a set out really quickly.

I think there is. It's a bit soon, but the toy market can use figures from another wrestling company. WWE has so many figures today: basics, elites, retros, pop! vinyls, window climbers, cake toppers, metal figures, ... there's an over exposure of WWE. The last year WWE wrestling itself became pretty boring: GMs and Vice-Chairmans wrestling and keeping wrestlers down has been done before, it was boring back then and it's boring now. AEW popping up is a good thing, maybe WWE will step up a little. Some competition in the toy aisle will be just as good.

If and when AEW can secure a deal with a company to make figures, who would it most likely be with?

I just hope it's the same scale as Mattel figures.

I just hope it's the same scale as Mattel figures. That never happens, because they want you to buy their product. If they make them the same scale as Mattel there’s a chance people would pass on Cody, Ambrose or anyone else that was in the WWE and made by Mattel.if they are a different scale/style it raises the chances of theirs being bought. The only time they are the same scale are when they are a tribute like Mattel’s Retros or Jakks CS LJN styles.

After handling the new Fortnite figures, I wouldn't mind seeing Jazwares try wrestling figures. They have a few kinks to iron out in maximizing range of motion, but they're pretty impressive otherwise.

I’m sure it will be Chalkline (who make the LJN) it whoever makes the things for Pro wrestling Tees. Most big brand companies (IE Hasbro) won’t deal with an unproven commodity.

Most big brand companies (IE Hasbro) won’t deal with an unproven commodity. Very true, though Marvel Toys signed with TNA within two years of TNA becoming a thing. If AEW does well history could repeat itself with either this happening with Jakks or Hasbro. Midway Games signed with TNA in 2005 too, I hope we get an AEW game. Last game to compete was TNA IMPACT! or AAA Lucha Heroes I think?
