It’s working just fine.

The chase one usually seems to be the less desirable one, at least to me they have been. I’d say either less desirable or no desirable differences. For me: -Benjamin: gold standard by a mile -Hawkins: blue > black -Aiden: both meh -KO: doesn’t matter -Jeff: regular > chase but both really cool -Mabel: doesn’t matter For me Benjamin - I wanted both versions equally. Hawkins - Blue looks better, but I didn’t want either version. English - Didn’t matter which version I found. KO - wanted the variant and got it. Hardy - Doesn’t matter as I don’t want either figure. Mabel - same as Hawkins and Hardy it doesn’t matter to me because I won’t be getting either version.

None of what you have said makes any sense. Mattel is not a charity set up to provide toys for entitled wrestling fans. Mattel is a business that sells toys. Retailers wanted an incentive to keep ordering the elite series in high volumes, specifically exclusive figures, like they do with other toy lines. Ok how is this for sense. A figure that is suppose be a target store exclusive is being sold online by rsc. Chase exclusive figures are by that definition a failure. Target didn't order enough of there own exclusives, so rsc got there hands on them. Check and Mate sir, end all exclusives. ringside has a working deal with Mattel. Either they were given the option to order them or they did what they have done in the past, purchased the figures directly from the stores or individual resellers. The concept works, just because you can’t find them doesn’t mean crap. The store exclusives are packed in cases of elites, they don’t individually order them. If stores don’t need to order figures while that series is shipping, then they won’t get the exclusive. The concept works, y’all are just looking to point the blame at Mattel as usual.

Not sure if it's working or not but I did find Dunne like 5 times randomly without even trying lol. Sherri and Wolfe though, I've never seen. I guess the biggest issue is spotty distribution, especially Walmart. Out of the five stores I frequent, only one had remnants of the Sherri wave.

So far the chases (not talking store exclusives, which aren’t chases) have been second attires that are likely never getting their own figure (let’s face it the likelihood of getting a second Elite English, or Hawkins, or King-era Mabel are pretty slim), yet at the same time (with the arguable exception of Shelton) nothing that that creates a glaring hole in a collection of doneone doesn’t find it. Seems like it’s working fine to me.

I’ve found everything I’ve been looking for eventually...& seen variants / chase of stuff I didn’t want.
Never saw Sherri at the Walmart’s close by. Did find her at a store an Hour away when working and afterwards in VA when I was out of town. Saw Dunne & Wolfe at targets multiple times.

The chase figures I have seen all except Hardy and Mabel because they haven’t hit here yet, but I only cared about Benjamin (wanted and bought both versions) and Owens chase figures. English I didn’t care which I got and the rest I have zero interest in either version.
The stores exclusives I have found all except Patterson because none of my WalMarts have restocked any wwe figures since the WrestleMania display.

I’m not too into them but I thought of one I’d REALLY like to see.
Vince McMahon Basic in dark suit. Chase: Vince McMahon in LJN suit.

Personally: Shelton: Preferred the Gold Standard chase Hawkins: I like blue better, black should have been the common English: Preferred the chase, loved the design too much to pass up KO: No preference Hardy: Regular version, but the USA paint looks nice with the US title Mabel: Doesn't matter, but I like the M on chest over the bolts. Ali: Chase definitely

Anyone else tired of the major douchebags talking about the "crybabies" who can't find the store exclusives/chase figures? Today's podcast really made me fed up with them.

Definitely don't mind chase variants. In the case of guys like Hawkins or Benjamin it can make it fun if you're a serious collector, but still not make it impossible for anyone to get that wrestler. In the case of shortpacking and making exclusives those who haven't had a release yet, like Liv Morgan or Dunne, etc, it is just an annoyance to me. I don't see any benefit to it unless you're setting out to collect on a competitive level, and that doesn't make sense to me.

Its a lot easier to find exclusives, when you're driving from city to city everyday. and if you're best buds with mattel's lead WWE figure designer
