Damn hard to believe it's been 30 years already.I never saw it in theatres but I remember renting the VHS when it came out. Man did they plug the crap out of this on WWF TV That Spring leading up to its release.

Rip Thomas is the biggest ratings draw on television (so this movie was definitely written by Hulk Hogan and/or Vince McMahon). Yeah actually I read one of HH's book in it he talks about how he and Vince locked themselves in a hotel room and wrote the movie together! IMDB: When the first draft of the script was turned in, Hogan and McMahon disapproved of it, so they checked into a hotel in Redington Beach, Florida, and stayed up for 72 hours rewriting the script together. |
