After how these and Super7’s figures turned out I’m not ordering a new line in advance again. Both were wasted of money to me. More expensive and worse quality.

Got them today. I'll post pics tomorrow unless someone beats me to it and give a detailed review.
As for now, heads are BEAUTIFUL. The pop on/off like AEW/NJPW but with a totally different system.
The torsos are BEAUTIFUL. Tight construction, double jointed, AEW-style "crunch" when moving, the tattoos pop, butteryfly joint, and just ONE hole on the back similar to a G.I. Joe. The torso pops off of the tights like AEW does.
The legs are pretty poor. In fact, they're quite awful. Speaking of G.I. Joe, they remind me of a 3 1/4 era. So very plain. Next to no texture and decoration. The boots are even worse. The boots DO swivel, unlike NJPW, but there is no thigh swivel. I thought it would rotate 360 like NJPW does, and it still might, but upon trying it on Penta the leg fell off! It popped back on but I will not be swiveling these again.
The overall paint app is wonderful, and the accessories are great (lightbulb and kendo stick). I didn't try replacing hands, but I did pop off and on Rey's head. It works but is sort of tricky.
Height wise they both clock in about Rey Misterio size. While that might work in terms of a Luchador, Penta is supposed to be 5'11". BOTH figures are WAY too thin, especially in the legs. Penta is supposed to be beefy. And while he is beefier than Rey and Misterio, he looks scrawny compared to Mattel and Jazwares and S7.
Overall (if you can get past the way too simple tights) they look very good, but do not scale. I've yet to really move them around but I'd be wary of that as well.
The box is pretty much like a Mattel. Penta didn't even have tape and the slots were open. Rey's was taped.

Received both figs today. Fenix is great. No complaints at all. It seems like they used Fenix’s legs for Penta as well, which makes him seem a little chicken legged. He’s hefty enough above the waist but his legs seem too small for the body. As for scale, Penta is listed as 5’11” which is what I think Steamboat is. Penta is as tall as the Fan Steamboat’s headband, so he’s slightly smaller than Mattel scale. Fenix seems about the same height as Penta, if not slightly taller. Like a millimeter taller, if that. He’s listed on the box as 5’9” so that would make him about the correct scale as Mattel. The tattoos on both figures blow the AEW tattoos away big time.
Since people will compare these to the AEW ones, having both in hand, I would say on their own, the Fenix’s are a push. AEW has a better Penta. If you add in the fact that these have extra heads and hands and weapons (not the accessory pack but weapons in package with the figs), and the fact that the AEWs are too tall, which nobody ever mentions, the overall edge in my opinion has to go to the Lucha figs.

I regret ordering these given how well the AEW figures turned out. I don’t know what I was thinking with the accessory packs either...I think I will list most of that stuff here or on ebay.

There is a really good comparison picture in this thread: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/367906/legends-lucha-libre-stock-ringside

Here are some quick shots of the Bros, with comparisons, and then an OMG moment ...
REY FENIX Notice how cheap the legs are compared to the rest of the brilliant-looking figure.
Just the one hole, unlike the prototype shots we've seen.
PENTA
Compared to their AEW figures
Compared to Mattel
Compared to NJPW (notice I did a little buffing on Okada to get the black haze off) (still have to sand some spots)
NOW ... are you ready? This one BLEW MY MINDHOLE ... . . . . . . .
YEP! The Boss Fight torso on the AEW legs with the AEW head! BONKERS.

Yeah, they said in an interview that the lowers are the same parts, and that in general there will have to be a lot of reuse in the line. Which I get - small company, niche product, etc. It works for guys like Juvi or Ultimo Dragon who are around the mid 5ft range. But if guys like Konnan, Vampiro, etc who are taller and beefier aren't reasonably sized compared to other lines, I really think it's going to hurt their long term success.

Wow that is crazy that you can swap between the two brands. Do you have any other picks of your figures with taller WWE guys?

Got mine from ringside today and wow! I love these figs. I also have the aew versions both are awesome. These are must haves if you are a fan of these 2 guys. Only negative is sharing the same legs. But these are still super impressive. Great time to be a wrestling collector.

It's also funny ppl are comparing the legs to gi Joe. As boss fight I'm pretty sure has ppl that worked for Hasbro on the Joe line in the past.

It is so crazy that you can do that -- but I'm also really surprised how much smaller they are than the AEW and Mattel figures

Got mine today. As with others, I've never actually received pre-opened new figures before. Or packaging that tears so easily. Figures are still pretty cool. Hopefully, the Masked Warrior Lucha guys don't decide to go nuts on them. Maybe I should put them with the Hag Distribuidora CMLL guys. Looking forward to the Fanaticos.

What a great time to be a wrestling figure collector. These are really, really good. Yeah these are way too small to be in scale with WWE/AEW/NJPW, there goes my hopes of WCW Vampiro, Juvi, & Ultimo

I’m still buying Vampiro and Ultimo from that next wave. Shame they’re not scaled a little taller, but we’re not getting those guys from anyone else right now. Given we just got a Brawler of him, I’m assuming we’ll be getting Psicosis too. I’m not in love with these, I think the AEW versions are better of Lucha Bros, but I’m happy to get any of the WCW guys that nobody else is making.

I've always mixed figures like elite, wcw toybiz, tna toybiz, bca, and ecw figures so the scale doesn't really bother me. As long as they are close enough to me that they don't look too ridiculous, they'll be fine. Especially the cruiserweights.
