Dallas, Texas.
The Big D.
Home of the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks.
The place most Fort Worth residents simply refer to as “that place I avoid unless I have a really good reason to go there.”
But tonight, it’s known as the home for “The Show of Shows”
“The Grandest Stage of Them All”
SuperBrawl X.
The End of an Epoch.
Grudges will be settled.
Titles will be defended.
Careers will be defined... and ended!
An overhead view of Dallas in all its glory opens the show, showing the city life during the day; people going to and from work, cars of all shapes and sizes backed up in traffic, just regular life in Dallas until after some time-lapse, it suddenly becomes night – and that’s where the city truly comes alive!
Various shots of the WFWF wrestlers who are competing tonight are shown; Frank Lynn punching away at a punching bag, his punches getting harder and harder with every jab.
Tyler Draven sitting in the corner, wrapping his wrists with black tape before punching the palm of his hand.
Ante Whitner on his knees, praying to his God to guide him and give him strength in his match tonight.
We see Anna Ahriman arriving at the AT&T Stadium, presumably by broom, decked out in all black just what a real-life witch would wear. All that’s missing is her hat.
We see Mesh, sitting crisscross apple sauce on the bench backstage in her locker room, bobbing her head to the beat of the song she’s listening to on her phone, as her knee twitches to the beat of the song as well.
Billy Broom has already arrived at the arena, putting away his cleaning supplies in the broom closet before heading to his locker room, wearing his combat outfit.
Ryan “Needles” Payne is…. somewhere dark where all that’s seen is his menacing grin.
Penny Shannon is seen talking with the backstage crew, people that she’s known for years.
Drakz is then shown, WFWF World Heavyweight Championship hanging off his shoulder, dressed in his finest suit with a strut in his step and a smirk on his face.
Michael Kyzer, on the other hand isn’t feeling like a gentleman. He makes his way down the halls of the AT&T Stadium with a cigar in his mouth. Unlike his opponent and former comrade, Kyzer looks determined.
For one of these two legends, it’ll be the end of the line tonight.
Because tonight, it’s…

As the theme songs for the show dies down, we’re suddenly in a first-person perspective.
This…”person” makes their way down the hall, getting the attention of the various WFWF staff backstage.
They then stop at a door – the door to Lila Sleater’s office, the one in charge of the circus.
Those devilish eyes of hers light up like a Christmas tree upon seeing “their” arrival. Lila Sleater: Well then, I gotta say I'm surprised you actually showed up. You have no idea how stressful getting this show up and running as smoothly as possible has been for me. You know how unreliable wrestlers can be in times of need, especially for the company that made them you know? She leans in, her chair squeaking as she does so. Lila Sleater: I appreciate you keeping your word and I promise that good things will happen if you decide you want to…stick around. Agreed? The first-person camera moves up and down, signaling an agreement. Satisfied, Sleater leans back in her chair with that smile on her face. Lila Sleater: Glad we can do business…again. Cut to the live crowd, 100,00 strong all standing on their feet, ready to witness something…epoch!
Suddenly, a bunch of pyro goes off! Snapping, crackling and popping, sounding almost like shotgun blast.
Fireworks going off in all directions, culminating in an epic explosion which sends the crowd into a frenzy as they roar and cheer! Alecia Matthews: We are live and in living color here at the world-famous AT&T Stadium for SuperBrawl X! I’m Alecia Matthews and I’m joined by my broadcast partner, Daniel Knight! Daniel Knight: Hey, that’s me! Yes, Matthews we are here in The House that Jerry Built! I’m getting goosebumps just thinking that we are going to witness something…epoch tonight! Alecia Matthews: They already said that joke in the opening video, sweetie. Daniel Knight: Oh. Doesn’t matter because it’s all about the delivery…and I have good delivery! Alecia Matthews: Speaking of delivery, we have five matches total here tonight that are sure to deliver! Daniel Knight: Oh, no doubt! My money is on the good guys winning; Billy, Frank, Penny and my girl Mesh! Alecia Matthews: What about Kyzer vs. Drakz? Daniel Knight: That’s tough one. I have no idea there. Alecia Matthews: Tonight’s main event certainly has everyone buzzing but we’re finally going to get the answer to the age-old question here in the WFWF: Who is the greatest of all-time? Daniel Knight: Keep in mind – whoever loses in the main event tonight is going….going…..GONE! Alecia Matthews: The WFWF landscape is going to look awfully different following tonight…and I can’t wait to see what happens! Daniel Knight: Then let’s get to the show! Stop stalling! Alecia Matthews: Hold your horses! Before we proceed with the show, Ms. Sleater has a bit of a surprise for us here tonight. Now of course, "The Show of Shows" was opened by none other than ZMaster himself! Daniel Knight: Talk about a blast from the past! Alecia Matthews: Yup and he's not the only blast from the past that are going to make their presence known. Throughout the show, various names from the WFWF's past will recall their memories from the big show here tonight! Daniel Knight: Oh boy! I hope we hear from guys like Josh Dean, Phillip Schneider and David Brennan! Alecia Matthews: All I was told was that various names from the past will appear, that’s all. Daniel Knight: How come they told you but not me? Alecia Matthews: They clearly like me more than they do you. Daniel Knight: Nahh, it’s not that. Arena lights fall dim as sparkles of purple, pink, and baby blue settle around the entrance way. Smoke fills the isle as the shrill of L7's "Fast and Frightening" damn near rips the speakers in two!
Alecia Matthews: Speaking of names – Daniel Knight: After seeing ZMaster here tonight, I'm even more curious to see who exactly is answering the challenge from the former WFWF World Heavyweight Champion. Penny pushes herself through the entrance curtain, hooded up in her signature hoodie. She takes a moment to stand by the edge of the stage, pulling down her hood to reveal her pigtails as she kicks her feet and makes a mad rush down the isle.Christa Adina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Toronto, Canada! Weighing in at one hundred and thirty-four pounds, Penny Shannon! Slipping into the ring beneath the ropes, Penny charges up the up the turnbuckle and raises her left arm into the air, holding up a single fist as she turns to the camera, points to her own face and curses her ass off.
She takes the hoodie and waits patiently for someone, anyone to answer the call...
Suddenly, on the Tunatron - Daniel Knight: The Devil's Final Flight...? Waitaminute! Carmina Burana "I, O Fortuna" starts to play over the speakers. On the screen it shows a list of names, starting with Phoenix Nitro. The name is shown across the whole screen before being sent into the left hand corner to make the list. Next is Mickey Donovan. The name does the same thing, except an added "x2" next to it, and goes back the corner. Soon they all follow. Carter Contra with a "x2" beside it, then Reckless, Andrew Carter (x2), Dex, ZMaster, Davey Sanchez, Tommy Staxx, Axle Thornstowe. Five names on each side of the screen, then a big red "O" appears around the entirety of the list, followed by a slight 5 second pause, and then a big red "X" over the "O" as the music gets closer to its climax. From the curtain a tall man in a solid white trench coat and white sun hat emerges. He takes five steps onto the stage and stops. He pauses, the arena scattered with bright LED lights shining from the fans trying to get a glimpse to see if their thoughts are reality. As the song reaches its peak, the man raises his arms up from his sides as blood starts falling from the sky on top of him, staining the white hat and white trench coat. The blood continuously pours for another 10 seconds, splattering a few lucky front row goers. The blood starts slowing to a slow drip as the song fades out. The man now takes off the trench coat first, laying it in the pool of blood around the stage, then taking his hat off. The brightly colored hair pulled in a ponytail to show a crown made from 6 strands of barbed wire sitting firm on his head. The black sleek tights with a big red "O" and an X through it on each side, and black kickpads with "Devil" and "Killer" on each side respectively give way who this man is.The crowd pops!
This song is already forwarded to the 0:52 marker as Devilkiller jumps up with a burst of energy as the crowd starts cheering. Alecia Matthews: Oh. My. God. Daniel Knight: No, is it? I thought honestly- Alecia Matthews: That he was dead? Daniel Knight: Or at the very least done with wrestling! Devilkiller walks down the ramp, trying his best to make sure he hits every single hand that he can in the front row. He chuckles when he gets to the ringside area, looking all around the arena. He inhales sharply and slowly exhales, nodding towards the SuperBrawl X sign, before running up the staircase and climbing into the ring. Christa Adina: And her opponent, from Jersey City, New Jersey, weighing in at 275 pounds, he is the Hardcore King, the Creator of Hell himself, the DEEEEEVVVVVIIIIILLLLLKKKKKIIIIILLLLLEEEEERRRRR!!! Devilkiller jumps up onto the second turnbuckle, holding his hand in a gun like manner and putting it under his chin and shoots it, jumping off the corner like the blast from his finger gun blew him off. He bounces around the ring some, getting a feel for the WFWF ring that he hasn't been in for so long. He kneels down in the middle of the ring and kisses the middle of the canvas!
DE-VIL-KILL-ER! *clap, clap, clap, clap, clap*
DE-VIL-KILL-ER! *clap, clap, clap, clap, clap*
DE-VIL-KILL-ER! *clap, clap, clap, clap, clap*Alecia Matthews: I honestly am excited to see Devilkiller, how much he's adapted, how much he's changed, and how much he's learned since being away from WFWF. Daniel Knight: It'll be an interesting matchup to say the least! I mean, this guy has been gone for 5 years. I never thought we'd see him back. Devilkiller stands back up and walks to his corner, carefully taking off the crown of barbed wire, causing minor cuts to appear up and down his forehead with a thin line of blood making its way down his nose, and places it on top of the corner post. He wipes the blood off his nose and then off his forehead, the bleeding already halted since the cuts aren't deep. DING! DING! DING! As the bell rings, the literal foot difference from the two competitors is almost comical, if we didn't know what they both were capable of. They charge toward one another, getting into a ferocious collar and elbow tie up. Devilkiller seems to allow Penny to think she has the upper hand for all of three seconds before pushing her off and onto her back.Alecia Mathews: HERE WE GO! Penny shakes her arm while seated, making sure there are no catches in it before coming back to her feet. The Velocity Grrrl comes charging toward Devilkiller, who goes for another lock up, but she ducks and barely reaches her arms around his massive frame to get a rear waistlock. Alecia Matthews: This is an interesting dichotomy. Penny is a wild card, while DK is ground and pound. Two completely different styles. Devilkiller chuckles and grabs Shannon's wrist with his opposite hand and spins her around fast, taking her down and putting in some kind arm lock. Shannon twists her hips to get behind The Creator of Hell and uses her core to pull her legs above her head and wrap them around his neck, making him release the hold quickly before taking him down to the mat in the head scissors. Devilkiller attempts a kip up, but with another shift of her weight, Shannon keeps him grounded.Daniel Knight: How can someone so small keep someone so large grounded? Devilkiller decides to use the same tactic Shannon has and twists his hips to where his body is able to spin around where, if his head weren't trapped between her legs, they would be face to face. Devilkiller uses the point of the elbow to drive it where the joint of the knee is, forcing the leg to come down and allowing him to slide up and get a grounded headlock on her. Shannon starts stomping her foot to get the already torn crowd behind her, before making her way to her feet. She stomps on Devilkiller's toes, then again, then a big elbow to the gut before trying to push the much larger Hardcore King against the ropes, but he blocks by doing a headlock takedown, keeping Penny grounded. Shannon gets back up despite most of the weight of Devilkiller against her, and this time bites his hand! He bellows in pain as he releases the hold, taking a second to look down at the teeth marks in his appendage as Shannon hits a nasty European uppercut. The sound of the skin to skin contact echoes throughout the Dallas stadium as Devilkiller's head snaps back and stumbles over to the ropes.Daniel Knight: SOMEONE TEST THAT WOMAN FOR STEROIDS! Alecia Matthews: Someone test Daniel for brain cells. Daniel Knight: That was uncalled for. Shannon, realizing she has to be a bit more intense with this opponent, runs to the ropes where he is leaning against and hits a fury of closed fist punches and strikes before sending him off. She bends down in an attempt to actually back body drop this gigantic human being, but instead gets met with a kick right to the forehead. As she recoils, Devilkiller hits a quick back elbow. She takes a step back, but all too quick for her, Devilkiller is already turning the rest of the way around to hit a nasty rolling lariat, taking himself down with Penny as the crowd pops for the massive blow.Daniel Knight: Good. Get this bitch out quick. Devilkiller, not going for a five star match scurries over to lay across Shannon's chest and shoulders.
1!Not even getting a two count, Shannon kicks out with defiance showing why she is the Velocity Grrrl, even though she's showing signs of that move rattling her brain. The Creator of Hell gets up quickly and pulls Shannon up to her unsteady feet. He wraps his arm around her neck and her arm around his neck, before trying to suplex her. Shannon, always a step ahead, goes up and over, landing behind Devilkiller. He turns around and she hits him with another flurry of closed fish punches, before running off the ropes. Devilkiller this time bending down to go for the back body drop, but he's met with a kick to his forehead.
He snaps back and looks squarely at Shannon as she twists and hits a back elbow, having to jump to hit anywhere close to his jaw. He turns his head slightly, but is still more focused on staring a hole through her. Shannon spins around and jumps for a rolling lariat, falling to the mat beside the still standing Devilkiller, who looks down at Shannon. She slowly looks up to see him above her and tries to give a little smile, before being grabbed by the waist from the mat and hoisted up in the air, her legs on either side of the big mans head. Shannon looks around the crowd with eyes like a deer in headlights as Devilkiller parades her around the ring. Then, with a sudden burst of energy, Shannon quickly throws herself backwards, flipping him in the process. Daniel Knight: The big man’s down! What’s next?! Devilkiller hurries to his feet as Shannon slowly gets to hers. He reaches down to grab her head but she pushes it away, steps up on his leg and wraps her legs around his head again for another hurricarana. The crowd pops as they get up at the same pace this time, Devilkiller slings a clothesline her way but the much smaller individual easily ducks underneath it, grabbing his arm and nails A Little Masscara, planting him face first across her knee.Alecia Matthews: COVER HIM WHILE IT’S STILL IN YOUR FAVOR! Penny goes for a pin attempt to perhaps end this early.

Devilkiller kicks out, throwing Shannon halfway across the ring. The fans eat it up, cheering for a match that should've happened long ago but never really did. Devilkiller and Penny Shannon get to vertical bases, Shannon just a second quicker who charges towards Devilkiller, who side steps and sends Shannon into the ropes face first, she rebounds hard, practically flying in air into Devilkiller's awaiting arms, who quickly just grabs her and using her momentum to send her up and over onto her neck.Daniel Knight: That German was more German than Michael Kyzer. 1940s German. Shannon grabs at her neck as she rolls out of the ring, unceremoniously dropping to the arena floor. Devilkiller stands up and looks to the outside, seeing her on her knees, starting to get to her feet. He runs across the ring and hits the ropes, before running full tilt toward Shannon, sliding on the mat for a baseball slide. Shannon dodges and slides into the ring as Devilkiller lands on his feet, looking around to see where she's at. She hits the ropes and comes running toward HIM now full tilt sprint and hits a big suicide dive, sending them both crashing hard on their necks and shoulders onto the guardrail as the crowd erupts.
Shannon is the first to pull herself free from the tangled mess that is Devilkiller and the guardrail. He's slowly stirring, but that doesn't matter much to Shannon since she starts dragging him out. The ref count is at 3 as she throws him head first into the ring post, a soft thud barely audible over the camera's microphone comes through the live broadcast as he falls to the ground hard, holding his head. She smiles and cusses the referee as his count reaches 5, before going back to Devilkiller, pulling him up by his hair and forcing him to bend down due to the size difference, and gives him a nasty kick in the gut, doubling him over even more. She wraps her arm around his neck and vice versa before snapping back and sending him tumbling over her onto his back. He arches up upon impact, howling out in pain as the fans "ohh" and "aww".The Velocity Grrrl gets back up and breaks the referee's count of 8, rolling in and back out to a downed Devilkiller. She bends down and yells some colorful language his way before pulling him up and places him onto the ring apron. She climbs up onto the ring apron, holding her neck as she stands up with a handful of colorful hair. As he gets to his feet she wraps his arm around her neck side by side.Daniel Knight: Look, I’m no Penny fan…but this…YOU CAN’T DROP ON THE APRON! Especially a guy that big! She goes to lift up the larger man before getting an elbow to the base of the neck. The crowd wakes back up from their Penny Shannon induced state and remembers a face from yesteryear is also in the ring, cheering for him now as he hits another elbow, then another, until it's impossible to keep track of how many elbows are landed to her neck as Devilkiller keeps wailing away.Alecia Matthews: It would appear that Devilkiller is willing to do anything short of actual murder to win this match. Devilkiller finally relents after Shannon is already barely awake leaning across the top rope. Devilkiller, putting a hand to his back, steps into the ring and looks at Shannon's seemingly lifeless body, before running into the ropes and running toward her. He dives over her almost like it's slow motion, grabbing onto her hips as he rotates and using his momentum and muscle mass, pulls her down hard from the apron to the floor with a sunset flip powerbomb. Devilkiller, ever present in his surroundings, lands on his feet almost perfectly, but winces in pain as he reaches for his back again.Daniel Knight: Come on! We paid for a match, not a broken neck. Get back in there! Alecia Matthews: You didn’t pay to be here, Daniel… Shannon grabs at her neck again as she writhes around in pain as the fans inside the AT&T stadium go absolutely bananas, B---A-N-A-N-A-S.
Devilkiller slowly but now with purpose, climbs onto the apron. He looks back at Penny Shannon, who is still slow to the draw. He very slowly climbs the turnbuckles, each one he pauses and winces as he moves his body, before reaching the top rope. The fans in attendance are crescendoing a shared "ooooohhhhhh" waiting for the grand finale of the high risk move that's about to take place. Devilkiller looks between his legs to see Shannon finally reach both of her feet, looking up just in time as he jumps off and does a picture perfect moonsault to the outside, multiple camera flashes strobing throughout the arena.Alecia Matthews: FLIPPY CHIT! I LOVE IT! FANS LOVE IT! EVERYONE LOVES IT! Daniel Knight: I don’t. No flips, just fists for me……..please don’t sue me. Both participants crash to the floor and lay out, catching their breath as the ref's count is started back over at one. The fans are chanting "This is awesome" even though there's still a lot more in store for them in other matches. Devilkiller, using the guardrail, makes it to his feet as Shannon is grasping at the bottom of his tights. He looks down at her with a face of almost mercy, before quickly picking her back up and throwing her over his shoulder, her limbs limp and dangling freely as he holds her there.Alecia Matthews: Christ, what’s this guy have planned NEXT? Devilkiller points toward the ring post and runs and drives Shannon back first into the post, the skin to metal contact making a nasty echo sound through out the arena, before he spins around and gets a running start to hit a running power slam to the apron of the ring, hitting her upper back on the actual edge and her bottom half hitting the ropes, sending her flailing back down to the concrete floor.Alecia Matthews: RIGHT TO THE SPINE! Is this REALLY necessary, DK? Devilkiller picks Shannon up and rolls her into the ring, quickly following behind her to break the referee's 9 count. He quickly crawls to her and hooks the leg deep for a pin attempt.

Penny Shannon kicks out, barely pushing her shoulder up at the count of 2. The fans go nuts for this as they get to see even more crazy moves. Devilkiller looks at the referee in disbelief, shaking his head, hoping it was a three count but it was in fact only a two count. He stands up and looks down at Shannon's body, her hair messy and rat nested from the Hell she's gone through the last few minutes. He slowly squats down so he's more level with her while she's on her hands and knees. He politely asks her to stay down, and she just looks up slowly at him and spits a big fat ball of spit at his face. Devilkiller rears back, wiping at his face to get it all off.
Devilkiller looks at Shannon in disgust as he walks a little more quickly back toward her, but she tucks her head, rolls forward and uses all of the rest of her strength to push herself up to wrap her ankles around his head to send him flipping once again. Alecia Matthews: VELOCITY GRRRRRRRRRRRRL teaching the boy a lesson in REAL velocity with that flip. Devilkiller rolls and gets back up, Shannon is slow but up as well, holding onto her back. Devilkiller charges her, who sidesteps him now. Devilkiller stops and turns around, but it's too late. Shannon jumps off the second rope and spins around in mid air, grabbing Devilkiller by the neck and pulling him down hard into the mat, spiking him with authority. He clutches at his head as she stands back up, looking toward the buckles and starts nodding aggressively. She hurries to climb the ropes, holding unto her neck the whole way to the top, before looking at the body of Devilkiller, still downed from the nasty DDT, and leaps off with a big elbow drop.Alecia Matthews: The further this match goes, the more violent it is getting. I thought DK turned a page in his life. Penny too. Guess not. Penny grabs one of the tree trunks of legs Devilkiller has and lifts it as much as she can.

Devilkiller kicks out, rolling away and to the outside to get away for a moment. Penny sighs as she crawls towards the ropes and rolls underneath them. She sees Devilkiller trying to use the ring post to get to a vertical base. She decides to rear back and jump forward, hitting a nasty superkick to the kneeling Devilkiller, his head bouncing off the ring post as he falls back down. >Daniel Knight: Jesus Christ. Penny is nuts. And that’s saying something for being a les… Alecia Matthews: Shut up. Shannon smiles as she takes a moment to catch her breath. She steps towards Devilkiller, cussing him yet again as she bends down to grab him by the hair. This time is much harder for her to drag him up, using one hand as a makeshift back brace for herself and one to lift him up. Once she gets him to a kneeling position, she throws his face into the ring post again, the same thud from earlier barely echoing through the camera mic. He doesn't recoil, but instead leans against the post. Penny Shannon enjoys this and takes this time to stand behind him, grabbing him by either side of his head, and slamming his forehead into the ring post, again and again and again, reminiscent of when he hit her with all of those elbows. Alecia Matthews: Penny Shannon is a former WFWF Champion, but lost her title the next week. Her anger. Her rage. Everything that was done to her by Drakz after her win is being transposed onto DK. And it ain’t pretty. Not sure he’s even gonna make it to the end of the match. She slows down, until she's all but stopped, and then throws his head one last time with as much power she can muster into the ring post. He collapses to his side, a nice big goose egg with a nasty gash oozing blood now on his forehead. Shannon rolls into the ring and rolls back out to break the refs 8 count. She bends down and pulls Devilkiller up with all her might and rolls him into the ring, rolling in right behind him. Devilkiller lands on his stomach, his hands planting as he's trying to force himself up, but can barely lift his head off the mat. Shannon laughs as the fans start going quiet not out of boredom, but concern for Devilkiller. The referee goes to check on him, who nods a "yes" gesture toward the ref, who signals the bell keeper he's still good. Shannon smiles with a crazy twinkle in her eye as she sees this unfold, watching as Devilkiller continues to struggle to get up. When he finally gets to one knee on the ground and one foot semi planted, Penny hits the Liberty Cap! Alecia Matthews: Uhh…is Devilkiller alive after the Liberty Cap? Like, can we get a wellness check? Daniel Knight: He’s more alive than Shawn Malakai, anyways. Shannon pushes with strength only she can display as she forces Devilkiller's limp body over onto his back, before laying on top of him.

Devilkiller kicks out at the very last second. The crowd comes alive as they now know for sure they haven't seen a real life murder.Alecia Matthews: COME ON! THAT WAS THREE! Daniel Knight: Learn to count. That was 9 and 3/4ths. Shannon looks at the ref, confused and hurt. She looks back at the bleeding Devilkiller, who's blood is now pooling and staining the canvas. She can't believe it as she crawls away towards the turnbuckles. She sits with her back in the corner, pulling at her hair as the Velocity Grrrl has a small mental breakdown. She looks back at Devilkiller who is now back to his knees, and pulls herself together. She stands up and positions herself so she's back in front of him. As soon as he plants one of his feet, she goes running toward him for another Liberty Cap. Right before she can though, he gets up to both feet and catches Shannon in a tight embrace and kisses her on the lips, his blood now transferring to her forehead.Alecia Matthews: I’m still trying to figure out how these two are still alive. The fans whoop and holler as Devilkiller pushes her away, falling back down to one knee in exhaustion. She looks dumbfounded and shocked, touching her lip and looking back at him. She puts her hand under her chin and twist her neck hard, popping it loudly before power walking back toward Devilkiller. When she gets within a foot of him, he stands back up and in one fluid motion, picks her up, spins her around onto his shoulder, and drops her onto her head in a nasty looking Rikishi Driver. Alecia Matthews: RIKISHI DRIVER! Hell of an impact! Daniel Knight: Who the hell is Rikishi? Alecia Matthews: Stop breaking the fourth wall. Shannon slumps over onto the canvas as Devilkiller howls with pent up rage. He climbs to his feet, tripping over them and falling back down, but climbs back up. He pulls Shannon to her feet, gets behind her, picks her up and flips her over for the Devil's Coffin. He doesn't give anyone time to react as he rolls into a pin.

2!Alecia Matthews: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! MY GIRL IS STILL ALIVE! Daniel Knight: I heard the only way you can kill a les… Alecia Matthews: Shut up. The fans erupt as Shannon shows minimal signs of life. Devilkiller rolls off and looks at her in bewilderment. The referee kneels down to hold up two fingers in front of Devilkiller's face so he knows it's no mistake. Devilkiller looks so angry now as Penny starts moving to her stomach. He stands over her again, pleading with her, telling her he doesn't want to do this to her. Shannon uses his tights to pull herself up to look him in the eye, and spits in his face again for good measure. He takes a step back, looking back at Shannon who has knelt back over with no support.
Devilkiller hits the ropes and runs towards Shannon and hits the Liberty Cap. The fans go crazy seeing a wrestler stealing another ones move, but the feeling is short lived, as Devilkiller is already back on his feet and pulling Shannon's limp body up with him. He grabs at his back one last time, but rage gets the better of him as he spins her around, picks her up and drives her again head first into the mat with the Devil's Coffin. Daniel Knight: IT’S OVER! Alecia Matthews: KICK OUT PENNY! COME ON, GIRL! Devilkiller rolls around to lay across Penny Shannons chest.

DING! DING! DING!As the bell rings, Devilkiller climbs off Penny Shannon and lays on the mat of the ring. The camera pans to show his face laughing as he struggles to get up from such a grueling match. He looks around the crowd and laughs more at them cheering, chanting "You still got it" over and over again as his entrance music shakes the walls. He puts his hands in the air and bows towards the audience out of respect. The ref holds his hand up. Christa Adina: Here is your winner, The Deeevvviilllkiiillleeerrr! Devilkiller falls to his knees, kissing the blood stained mat and wiping a streak of blood from his forehead himself, as he crawls back over to Penny who hasn't moved from the second Devil's Coffin, and softly kisses her forehead and whispers something to her, before grabbing her limp hand and shaking it as a sign of two warriors giving their all. The Creator of Hell himself stands back up on wobbled legs and falls out of the second rope gracefully, holding onto the rope and spinning to land on his feet facing away from the ring. He looks into the camera that is shooting it's footage to the big screen and says:DevilKiller: See, Carter? I told you I would do it!
Before making his way slowly back up the ramp, holding his back the whole way there.

Alecia Matthews: Not the best few months for The Velocity Grrrl but I'm with you, I'm really excited to see DevilKiller back home in the WFWF! Daniel Knight: Oh yeah! It's certainly not the same WFWF from before so DK has a lot to prove in the realm of wrestlers like Ryan "Needles" Payne, Tugarin Zmey and of course, Mesh! Alecia Matthews: I think DK will be fine, I mean - if a certain title changes hands tonight DK could very well be a contender. Daniel Knight: That's true. The man was the longest reigning WFWF National Champion of all-time! Alecia Matthews: We'll see if "The Lethal Weapon" Frank Lynn and "Mr. 851" Drakz both manage to hang on to their championships by the end of tonight but right now - we have another name from the past, making their presence known! Daniel Knight: Oh! Is it Josh Dean? Daniel Knight: Freakin' Joe Bishop?! Former WFWF World Heavyweight Champion?! Alecia Matthews: I see he's still harboring ill will towards how things went for him near his....I guess, hiatus? Retirement? Daniel Knight: I have to disagree with him. Alecia Matthews: On what? Daniel Knight: Kyzer vs. Drakz is going to be the greatest match in the history of the sport. Tonight's main event has been seven years in the making and it all ends....here.....at SuperBrawl X! Alecia Matthews: Well, Bishop was always one to never hold back on how he truly felt and that little monologue was classic Joe Bishop - calling it how he sees it. Daniel Knight: You know, if Joe Bishop ever considered a comeback - after tonight, it might be time. With either Drakz or Kyzer out of the title picture and out from the freakin' company, Bishop could return and claim the throne for his own. Alecia Matthews: I don't see that happening. Daniel Knight: You know what is happening though? Alecia Matthews: What? Daniel Knight: Drakz. Kyzer. One and one for the belt. Alecia Matthews: That's later tonight. Right now, we have another match with some history behind it and much like tonight's main event, this next match crossed all sorts of lines and boundaries. Suddenly, the roof of AT&T Stadium starts to open; two mechanical sliding doors drifting away from each other as the beautiful Dallas sun shines through.
Cut to a military helicopter, hovering above the dome.
A long black rope is tossed from inside the chopper and it falls all the way down onto the entrance stage. Daniel Knight: What is going on? Are we being swatted?? Alecia Matthews: Those are military colors so very unlikely. A man then rappels from the helicopter and lands perfectly on the stage.
He turns around…
"The Cleaner" Billy Broom stands on the stage with a black beret hat, camouflage tanktop, pants and black military boots. His face is painted in camouflage warpaint, saluting the crowd before pulling out a mop from behind him.
Using the mop like a rifle, he stands on the entrance ramp and does drills with the mop.
Count….one!
Count…two!
The crowd applauds the veteran for his service as he stands as stiff as a board, mop in hand.
After ten seconds or so, he smashes the mop on the stage! The thrashing metal guitar riffs of "Gimme Chocolate" by Babymetal deafens everyone in the arena. Christa Adina: The following contest is a No Holds Barred match! Falls count anywhere and there are no disqualifications! Introducing first from Pittsburgh, PA, weighing in at 240 lbs, "The Cleaner" Billy Broom! Daniel Knight: Wait – the WFWF gave The Janitor a special entrance? Alecia Matthews: Billy Broom is beloved by many. He’s earned a SuperBrawl moment. Daniel Knight: I get that but why spend money on someone like Billy? Imagine the budget for a show of this capacity! Alecia Matthews: If the WFWF can spend twenty million dollars on KC Jones, I think they’re okay with spending some money on someone like Billy. Daniel Knight: My boy, KC! You know he went to Hollywood after he left wrestling, right? Alecia Matthews: Really? Daniel Knight: Yup! We DM all the time on Twitter. Alecia Matthews: ….interesting. He "moshes" his way to the ring slapping the hands of fans along the way until he slides in under the bottom rope.
The lights go out. The arena is in a state of silence awaiting the appearance of the psycho from Scotland. Music begins to play starting with a guitar solo leading to the inclusion of drums and climaxing in an immense wail from the lead singer. The second the vocals hit the arena is bombarded with a sea of extreme flashing lights. The colors are a blur at first. The lights trigger Needles’ entrance to the stage where he is met with a chorus of boos and a few choice expletives. Christa Adina: And his opponent, from Glasgow, Scotland, weighing in at 225 pounds…Ryan “Needles” Payne! Alecia Matthews: The most sadistic man on the roster. Daniel Knight: Needles just doesn't give a flying firetruck what anyone thinks about him. He just wants to hurt people. Needles scowls as he surveys the scene, stopping to look down at Billy’s discarded mop. With a glint of evil in his eyes, he picks up the mop and swings it around like Billy does as part of his entrance routine. Then he cradles it against his body like an extremely tall and thin baby, the mop head resting against the side of his face as he stares crazily at his opponent.
Needles takes his time walking to the ring, teasing the crowd with the mop before he stops.
With two baseball bats holstered behind his jacket, he unzips it to reveal a pink shirt underneath with Jenny’s face on it.
The crowd boos but Needles revels in it as he grins. Alecia Matthews: That’s disturbing. Billy has had enough, he takes off the beret, slides under the bottom rope and the two men exchange blows!
DING! DING! DING!
Daniel Knight: And with that, we are underway! Alecia Matthews: Needles starting with the mind games early. The two men fight up the entrance ramp before Billy rams Needles’ head into the steel platforms from the stage. Billy grabs a piece of broken mop nearby and whacks his opponents across the back with it!
He then grabs his opponent by the hair and throws him through the curtain leading to the backstage area, throwing him down a small flight of steps! Alecia Matthews: Oh geez! Daniel Knight: Backstage brawl! It kinda reminds me of that one game that came out in like…2000 where you only wrestled in backstage areas and then you- Alecia Matthews: Ugh, please. I know what you’re talking about and the less said about that game, the better. Daniel Knight: Noted. It had a good roster though. As Needles recovers, The Janitor takes the leather jacket off his opponent and tosses it aside although Needles manages to hang on to one of them. Billy then throws Needles all over backstage, crashing into equipment and his back smacking the walls of AT&T Stadium – all while still wearing that pink shirt. Billy drags Needles by the hair into the catering area where many WFWF employees are resting and relaxing – until Billy throws Needles into the table, startling the employees, causing food and drinks to spill on the floor! Daniel Knight: Clean-up on aisle 6! Someone get the janit- oh. Billy bashes Needles’ head on the green plastic table the WFWF provided for its hard-working crew before dragging him across the table with all the food, leaving the catering area a mess!
Daniel Knight: Didn’t your mother ever tell not to play with your food? Alecia Matthews: Oh my… Daniel Knight: Real talk though. Billy is just embarrassing Needles right now. Needles is covered in food; bread crumbs, gravy and mashed potatoes and Billy proceeds to potato his opponent, sending him scurrying down the hallway.
Billy rams Needles’ head into the wall before throwing him through a door, heading into the dressing rooms. Thankfully due to the small roster, many rooms aren’t being used so the two men stumble into an empty one.
As Needles crawls around the carpet, Billy flips a table onto his opponent!
Billy Broom: Keep my daughter’s name out of your mouth! Billy repeats that mantra as he shuts the door to the dressing room – and slams Needles through it from the opposite side but it doesn’t break!Billy grabs Needles again and throws him through the door, this time the hinges come off the wall and The Scottish Psychopath goes through!Daniel Knight: The freakin’ Janitor is destroying AT&T Stadium! Alecia Matthews: Needles crossed a line when he said the things he said about Jenny. As far as I’m concerned, he’s had this beating coming. Daniel Knight: We’re supposed to remain impartial, Matthews. Needles tries to get away from Billy, but he gives chase as Billy slams Needles against the wall!
The Scottish Psychopath flees, trying to get away from The Janitor as far as he can but before he can do that Needles grabs a nearby WFWF employee and tosses him in front of Billy! Daniel Knight: That’s Stan! I know him! Billy, being the good-hearted man he is stops and helps the employee to his feet but Needles is nowhere to be seen.
The Janitor calls out for his opponent, making his way down the hallway.
Until –
WHACK! Alecia Matthews: Needles with the shot to the back of the head! Daniel Knight: What?! Where was he? Alecia Matthews: I don’t know! Like a vampire bat, Needles drops down from the beam that he was hanging upside from and proceeds to beat on Billy with the baseball bat!
He then uses the bat to choke the veteran, the veins on Needles’ head bulging as he laughs manically! Ryan “Needles” Payne: Don’t worry about Jenny! I’ll take real good care of her when you’re gone! Massive boos! Alecia Matthews: Oh God….why? Daniel Knight: Needles knows what buttons to push…and it works every, single time! Billy’s eyes nearly pop out of his skull, growing enraged at Needles’ comments. He screams and runs backwards, ramming Needles’ back against the wall behind them but he doesn’t let go!
The Janitor rams Needles into the wall again and this time, he lets go.
A kick to the midsection from Billy before bashing Needles’ head against the wall again as the two men make their way back to ringside with Billy beating Needles as they fight down the entrance ramp.
Needles shoves Billy off but The Janitor comes back at him with more shots to the body! Hitting rights and lefts in quick succession before grabbing at Needles' crude shirt and throwing him into the barricades!
With Needles against the barricades, Billy follows up with a series of Judo kicks. Needles is reeling in pain as he tries to get away from Broom by stumbling around the ringside area by the timekeepers table. Broom follows quickly behind and grabs Needles by his hair, but he pushes him away and pulls up a chair and carelessly hurls it right at Brooms skull! Alecia Matthews: Oh my! Vicious chair shot to the head! Daniel Knight: Any time Ryan “Needles” Payne gets a weapon in his hand; people end up in serious pain. Or dead if you’re Chris Priceless. Alecia Matthews: To be fair, Priceless did come back so I wouldn’t say he’s dead. Daniel Knight: I’m guessing you didn’t hear that he’s in the hospital. Still. In a coma. Slowly dying. Alecia Matthews: I did read that. I just refuse to believe that he’s dying. Daniel Knight: You always were the optimistic one. The fans boo loudly as Needles stretches his arms out from his sides as he soaks up the negative energy from the WFWF universe. Needles sees The Janitor trying to get back up after showering himself with boos and grabs the chair again. When Broom stands back up, Needles swings the chair around, drilling him in the side of his head, crumpling the chair around The Cleaner's skull! Daniel Knight: I don’t like these chair shots to the head…. Alecia Matthews: Needles just wants to inflict as much pain as he possibly can. Needles laughs again at the crowd booing him as he throws the chair into the ring and pulls Broom back to a vertical base and rolling him into the ring as well. Needles then opens up his black medical bag and pulls out a knife. Alecia Matthews: Ugh…. a knife. Why a knife? Daniel Knight: Because it’s Needles? Don’t worry though – I’m sure he’ll use his baseball bat or something else later if a knife isn’t your cup of tea. Alecia Matthews: I hate you sometimes, you know that? Needles grins wickedly, climbing into the ring and standing above Billy Broom, who's trying to crawl toward the ropes to help himself up. Needles rears back and goes to lunge the knife hard into the spine of Billy! Alecia Matthews: Thank God he missed! Needles stabs the canvas instead. Broom drives his knee into Needles’ abdomen before mounting the Psychopath and punching him!
The two men fight for control as Needles manages to get Billy away from him. Billy charges towards Needles but he moves and Billy goes shoulder-first on the ring post!
With Billy down, Needles smirks. He goes to the outside and grabs his instrument of death – the baseball bat that left at ringside earlier. He stalks Billy before dropping the hammer onto Billy’s spine! He falls back to the canvas, absolutely howling with pain.
Another shot with the bat to the back!
Needles throws the bat down and proceeds to stand on Billy’s back! The Janitor wailing in pain!
Needles pulls Broom back up and throws a hard elbow right to the jaw. Billy falls back into the ropes, luckily keeping him vertical as Needles hits a hard knee strike into his abdomen. Alecia Matthews: Again, with that damn bat! Swinging for the fences, Needles whacks Billy across his chest and stomach. Billy sputters and coughs up a little blood as he's doubled over, hanging onto the ropes with all his strength. Needles stands in front of him and runs his fingers on Billy’s bloody lips. Alecia Matthews: What in the world is he doing? With his bloody fingers, he desecrates the picture of Jenny on his shirt, leaving her young, innocent face bloody.
The fans go berserk!
Although he’s hurt, Billy is enraged. He lunges at Needles’ and grabs his bloody shirt, tearing it to pieces! Alecia Matthews: We know where Billy stands on the shirt design. Daniel Knight: You mean I can't buy that at WFWF Shop? Alecia Matthews: Will you stop? Daniel Knight: Hey! That rhymed! Needles drives his knee into the Broom family jewels which allows Needles to grab his wrist and shot him off the ropes, but Billy ducks underneath and spins around to kick Needles in the stomach, and soon after hitting a nasty DDT!
GO BILLY, GO!
GO BILLY, GO!
GO BILLY, GO!
GO BILLY, GO! Daniel Knight: I have to say – I didn’t think this many people cared about our local Janitor. Alecia Matthews: He’s your everyday man. A common man and people can relate to that. Broom crawls into a quick cover.
1!
2!
Needles kicks out hard, the fans booing again as their antagonist gets his shoulder up. Billy gets up on wobbly legs, holding the side of his head that got smashed with the chair earlier. He looks at the bent scrap of metal and looks at the crowd. They're all cheering as Broom picks the chair up, holding it high for the crowd to see.
YES!
YES!
YES!
YES!
YES!
He grabs the legs of it with both hands and smashes it against the mat, trying to stir Needles into getting up quicker. Needles is on his knees now as Billy starts to let go of the chair. He looks down at it in his hands and back at the crowd, before finally throwing it down, deciding not to go down that road. Alecia Matthews: That’s another reason why the fans love Billy. He has morals. Daniel Knight: If some guy said the things that Needles said about my daughter or even my sister, I’d want that guy’s head on a plate. He just wiped Billy’s blood on a picture of his daughter’s face! Alecia Matthews: It was all just to get in his head. Billy knows that. Billy knows that as long as he's breathing, Needles won't ever get his hands on Jenny. Broom goes to Needles and is met with a fist to the kisser for his troubles. Billy stumbles back, holding his lip as Needles gets a slight running start to hit a big boot to the side of Broom's head. The Janitor falls to the ground, holding his head as Needles takes a quick breather, albeit grinning. He looks back at Broom and rolls to the outside. He falls to all fours as he looks underneath the ring and pulls out a big piece of plywood with a bunch of syringe needles attached. Alecia Matthews: Okay, that’s new. Daniel Knight: I like where this is going! Hardcore! Hardcore! Hardcore! Needles smirks sadistically as he lifts the board and carefully slides it into the ring and sliding in on the other side of the ring. He pulls Billy up the rest of the way to a standing position as he looks back at the board, getting the placing just right as he lifts him up in a powerbomb position, but Billy starts throwing live rounds to the face and turns Needles around to hit a nasty headbutt to the bridge of the nose, before picking him up and throwing Needles onto the board with a spear to a huge pop from the crowd!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T! Alecia Matthews and Daniel Knight: Oh my God!! Daniel Knight: Look at that needle! It's just...hanging off Needles’ back! Alecia Matthews: This is disturbing. Needles writhes in pain as he pulls himself off his own creation, dots of blood lining his back. Billy using his foot, slides the board back out of the ring and turns back to Needles, who is slowly getting to his feet. Billy Broom: That was for Jenny, you son of a bitch! He shoves Needles into the ropes, throwing the rebounding Needles into the air for what seems to be a Pop Up Powerbomb.
Needles instead is able to fly over him and land on his feet. Billy turns around as Needles hits the ropes again and drives his shoulder into the back of Billy’s knee!
The veteran screams in pain as he grasps his knee! Alecia Matthews: Oh no! If Billy’s knee is hurt, Needles is going to be in total control of this match! Daniel Knight: And we don’t want that! Needles stands above Billy as he holds on to the baseball bat tight. Alecia Matthews: Where did he get the bat from? What?! Daniel Knight: He must’ve grabbed it while he was rolling around in needles and the cameraman didn’t see it. Good job, cameraman for failing to do your job! Billy gets up on both knees – Billy Broom: Do it! Do it! Finish me off! Alecia Matthews: What, no! Billy, what are you doing? Needles grins sadistically as he gets in position for The Decapitation Device until the crowd starts cheering! Alecia Matthews: It’s Jenny! Indeed, it is. The Seneschal for the Good Vibe Tribe and the #2 in PPS (Pink Panda Squad) runs down the entrance ramp, attempting to stop Needles from hurting her father.
Jenny enters the ring on the opposite side away from Needles before he turns and looks at her.
Jenny Broom: You leave my father alone! The teenager shoves Needles back, the crowd….isn’t sure how to feel.
Alecia Matthews: Jenny….what…..are…..you……doing? Needles chuckles.
Billy Broom: You touch my daughter, I’ll kill you! Needles must’ve heard that because as soon as her father shouts, Needles lunges at Jenny, grabbing her by the throat.
The crowd comes unglued!
Billy lunges at Needles in an attempt to save his daughter but like a snake, he quickly turns around and nails The Decapitation Device, Billy’s head crashing into the mat!
Hard.
Needles scurries into a pin.
1!
2!
Billy kicks out and the fans are going crazy!
GO BILLY, GO!
GO BILLY, GO!
GO BILLY, GO!
GO BILLY, GO!
Jenny is on the outside, rooting for her father! Alecia Matthews: AT&T Stadium showing their love to Billy who refuses to stay down! Daniel Knight: The man is a former solider who’s been through war. Tonight, Needles has given him a war. Needles smirks again as the crowd is cheering. He stands up and does a little shuffle, much like another very popular WFWF superstar, which makes the crowd boo.
Jenny especially. Alecia Matthews: Umm… Daniel Knight: Why is Needles sending the Vanguard Knight a message? Now’s not the time. Needles grabs the chair from the corner of the ring and lays it in the middle of the ring beside Billy. Needles laughs heinously as he pulls Broom up and between his legs. He looks all around the crowd as he takes two steps back, pulling Broom with him, spiking him onto the chair with The Lasting Impression!
The crowd continuously boos as Needles crawls into the pin.
1!
2!
3!
DING! DING! DING! Christa Adina: Here is your winner, Ryan "Needles" Payne! Needles stays slumbered over Billy’s body, grinning from ear to ear. As he slowly stands up and looks directly into the camera, the ref raises his hand, Needles yelling into the air. He smiles again and does another little shuffle much to the crowds’ displeasure. Alecia Matthews: This was a fight and Billy certainly brought one but that damn Needles used his same old tactics to get a win at “The Show of Shows”. Daniel Knight: They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different outcome – Needles is definitely insane, but his same, old tactics earned him a big, big win at SuperBrawl! Alecia Mattews: Billy certainly didn’t make it easy, I guess. Jenny slides in the ring and checks on her father before Needles looks at them…and smiles before stepping out of the ring and walking up the ramp, that sinister smile still on his face.
Jenny’s eyes stay focused on the psychopath that just hurt her father, looking at him with such disdain, tending to him along with the referee. Daniel Knight: Gotta say, I respect Billy for standing up for his daughter. As someone with a sister, I can relate to that and I would do the same thing for her. Alecia Matthews: There’s moments where I hate you but then you say things like that then I remember why you’re my favorite broadcast partner ever. Daniel Knight: I’m glad. I wouldn’t want you to hate me or anything. Alecia Matthews: I could never hate you, but I also could never hate calling SuperBrawl X! We’ve seen a few big names from the past make surprise appearances, talking about their SuperBrawl memories and I’m being told that we have another one. Daniel Knight: Ooooh, I wonder who it is this time! We then live, backstage to see Mesh, sitting crisscross, apple sauce on the wooden bench with her against the wall. Her eyes are glued to her phone as her finger scroll down, looking for the right song among the thousands of songs saved in her Spotify library.
Suddenly, there’s a knock on the door but the Vanguard Knight doesn’t hear it.
Mesh senses something though, as she takes the ear buds out of her ears…and listens.
Nothing.
She nods and puts the earbuds back in, until…
More rapping, rapping on her chamber door.
Again, almost sensing something, Mesh takes the earbuds out and hears nothing.
As her eyes veer to the door, it opens.
Mesh: I thought I kept hearing things. I’m sorry! ?: We have a thing for doors and us not hearing when people knock. She sits up from the bench and entering the frame is Penny Shannon. The two women hug; well – more like Mesh lunges towards her hero and Penny simply pats her on back, smiling of course. Penny Shannon: It’s okay though. I get the same way with my music. I find a song I like, turn it up and I just forget about the world for a minute or two. Mesh: I can relate. They laugh. Mesh: So what's crackalackin’? What are you doing here? I'm sorry you didn't win tonight. I was rooting for you! Penny Shannon: Oh, don't even sweat it dude. Things haven't been that great for me lately. I haven't really had my mind set on wrestling as of late.
Awkward silence.
Penny Shannon: I'm here for you though. I just wanted to see how you were doing after our little sesh. Oh, and wish you luck in your match tonight with Anna. Remember what we talked about. Mesh: Not gonna lie, I don't remember much. When I got home, I kept seeing ninjas on the front lawn. Penny just shakes her head. Penny Shannon: You're certainly quite the trip when in Iran. Mesh: It means so much to me that you're wishing me luck tonight. Thank you! The veteran and former WFWF World Heavyweight Champion just stands back and smiles. Penny Shannon: Don’t mention it. After our match, I've been a believer in you. Mary too. She loves you. Mesh's head just grew three times its normal size. Not literally. Penny puts her hand on Mesh's shoulder. Penny Shannon: Arizona was rough, dude. I've been there, it sucks. Went from being the world champion one month – Penny looks down at her waist where the gold strap once was. Penny Shannon: To…..not and I just got my ass kicked by a guy that hasn't wrestled in years. Mesh: You should’ve seen me backstage when you won the title. I cried so much. Penny just smiles at the compliment. Penny Shannon: If I can get over losing the richest prize in our sport a month after winning it, then you can get over a rough night.
Mesh: What about tonight?
Penny Shannon: I'll get over it too. Let me meet up with Mary Jane again and before you know it, I'll be chill again. Mesh finds Penny's spirit inspiring. Mesh: I just hope everything goes my way tonight. Penny Shannon: Well, I got you a little something that I think you might drool over. Mesh is giddy as Penny, from behind reveals the barbed wire wrapped glove! The same glove she used against tonight’s referee, Cameron Stone and the same glove she used against Dex. Mesh is giddy times ten as she caresses the glove as if it were a baby. Mesh: Are you serious? Penny Shannon: Of course! I knew you’d get a kick of it. I was going to give it to you when we were chillin’ but I forgot. Mesh puts it on, slowly. Mesh: Fun isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe. But this… does put a smile on my face. Penny pops at the reference. Mesh: Really though, thank you for this! Just more things to use on Anna, besides – you know… Mesh reaches into her bag and pulls out the crown of thorns. Penny Shannon: Geez, you two are probably going to kill each other, huh? Mesh: It’s an Ultraviolent Playground Match – you know we are! Penny Shannon: Well, either way, I’ll be there to put you two back together again. Penny and Mesh hug as the veteran (and former WFWF World Heavyweight Champion) leaves the Vanguard Knight to her own devices, her eyes still focused on the glove. Mesh: Anna, you’re strong. But I could snap my fingers, and you’d cease to exist. Mesh laughs manically as we go back to ringside.

AT&T Stadium comes unglued at the sight of Mesh!
Daniel Knight: This sold out stadium got a double dose of the Vanguard Knight, Mesh! I can't believe Penny gave her the glove she used on the special guest referee for the Ultimate Playground Match coming up in just a little bit. Alecia Matthews: It's Ultraviolent Playground Match, sweetie. Daniel Knight: I know, I'm just goofing on Limbo who's in the hospital right now. Get well soon! Alecia Matthews: I just hope he's able to watch everything that's unraveled here tonight in beautiful Dallas, Texas! We still have a few more surprises in store, on top of three huge matches that are still to come! Daniel Knight: I like surprises! Daniel Knight: Thunder! Holy crap! Alecia Matthews: It's nice seeing all of these names from the past again, albeit in segments and not in-ring competition. Daniel Knight: Who knows? Maybe hearing the reaction that they are getting might be a good enough incentive for them for come back for one, last run? Alecia Matthews: The WFWF is the smallest its ever been so having some more experienced names would help boost the company profile and just imagine the new match ups that we would get to call? Daniel Knight: DevilKiller vs. Thunder? Joe Bishop vs. Mesh? Alecia Matthews: I can see those being advertised on marquees. Daniel Knight: But let's just focus on SuperBrawl for right now. No need to fanboy over hypothetical scenarios where we'll get - Alecia Matthews: Umm.... Daniel Knight: Who the hell was that?? Alecia Matthews: Another strange prospect that Ms. Sleater has signed? Daniel Knight: He took over the broadcast! How?! Alecia Matthews: I....I don't know.... Daniel Knight: For the record, he ain't my father. Alecia Matthews: As....strange as that was, I'm sure this....."Father" is going to try and make a name for himself. Daniel Knight: I think he already did. He hijacked SuperBrawl to spread his message! Alecia Matthews: I guess we'll have to wait and see just what exactly "The Father" is all about... The ring and surrounding area is then shown, and several weapons are littered around the ringside area, with many more toys sure to be hidden around it.
More specifically, there’s a ladder in the middle of the entrance ramp with the infamous thumbtack ball-pit on the right side of the square circle. Suddenly, the arena goes pitch black as a figure is dragged from behind the curtain, screaming and hollering. “The Hanging Tree” by Jennifer Lawrence starts playing in the background as the figures in black begin tying up the screaming figure to a post on the stage, covering the area with what looks like hay.
“Wear a necklace of hope, side by side with me.”
The figure in black put a rope around the screaming figure’s neck and hook it to a bar above the post the screamer has been tied to. Alecia Matthews: What in the in the actual f*ck is happening right now?! The figures sway side to side and ignite torches now in their hands as the chorus of the song with multiple vocals starts kicking in. They all place their torches against the hay-like substance. “Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be. If we met at midnight, in the Hanging Tree.”
The music cuts off and the hay catches fire, the only real light. More screaming and agonizing shrills come from the victim tied to the post. Alecia Matthews: SOMEBODY HELP THEM! ANYONE! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! “BURN THE WITCH!” “BURN THE WITCH!” “BURN THE WITCH!” chant the figures in black, and the mob crowd joins in, the figure still screaming as they’re engulfed in flames until…they aren’t any longer. Engulfed, or screaming. A silhouette shines on the figure tied to the pole, their head drooped, a black balaclava falling from the drooped head to reveal fiery red hair.
A low bass drum kick now resonates over and over on repeat on the PA system. Synthetic sounds start playing over it . “This is not the way into my heart, into my head, into my brain, into none of the above. This is just my way of unleashing the feelings deep inside of me. This spark of black that I seem to love.”
The figure looks up, a sadistic smile on the face of the one and only Anna Ahriman.
“We can get a little crazy just for fun, just for fun. Don’t even try to hold back, just let go.”
Anna slides her arms out from the rope tying her to the post and undoes the noose around her neck, revealing she’s wearing a fire-retardant suit. Daniel Knight: Ok. That bitch is officially crazy. Alecia Matthews: …I…can’t argue. “You’ve got me feeling and I’m ready to BLOW!” Anna undoes the suit in a few swift movements to reveal her ring gear, pulling up the post and tossing it aside, revealing Sakabatō. Alecia Matthews: Oh god. She brought it. She actually brought it. Daniel Knight: Crazy bitch is ready. “Push up to my body, sink your teeth into my flesh! Get undressed, t-taste the flesh.”
The rest of “Flesh” by Simon Curtis begins to play as Anna unsheathes Sakabatō, puts it back into its holder, kisses the hilt, and makes her way down the ramp to a chorus of boos.
Anna laughs maniacally at the traumatized people in the crowd who’d just seen her catch fire, not knowing she was wearing a retardant suit. When Anna reaches the ring, she takes a look at the ‘playground’ and smiles, rolling into the ring.
“Tuuuuuuurn me oooooon, and taaaaaake me oooooout. Maaaaaake me beeeeeg for moooooooooooooooooore!”
Anna raises her arm holding Sakabato up in the air to a maddening amount of boos. Daniel Knight: Certifiable? Alecia Matthews: Damn straight. Anna undoes her shirt with her Triple A anarchy logo with a tiara above the letters to reveal her full in ring gear, backing into a corner, a sinful smile on her face as she crouches in the corner, laying Sakabatō under the rope, making the Sign of the Cross, kissing her necklace, handing it off to the attendant, and kisses the purple ribbons in her bracers as she awaits the Vanguard Champion. Christa Adina: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the special guest referee – Cameron Stone! The opening chords to "Sound of Madness" by Shinedown hit, and the crowd begins buzzing, as after a few moments, Cameron Stone steps out onto the stage. He's dressed in a pair of smooth, ironed black pants with a referee shirt. His wrists are taped up in white athletic tape, and he's wearing a pair of boots that look a little like cowboy boots, but with a more comfortable sole. Anna kinda smiles as he makes his way to the ring. Alecia Matthews: Now for those that don’t know, Cam was in the last Ultraviolent Playground at SuperBrawl VIII against the creator of the match and Mesh’s idol – Penny Shannon so him being involved here makes total sense. Daniel Knight: Funny how Anna seriously thought that stacking the deck against Mesh was going to tip the scales in her favor. Alecia Matthews: Who said anything about Cam being unfair to Mesh? Daniel Knight: He was hired by that witch! Did Anna forget about Event Horizon where Mesh beat Penny? Did Anna forget about Resolution where Mesh beat Daphne? Mesh always overcomes the odds and tonight will be no exception! Alecia Matthews: You do realize that Cameron Stone used to be a hardcore icon, right? Daniel Knight: Why do I feel like you’ve said that before? He begins walking down the ramp, high fiving a few fans as he goes, but not really paying any attention to them. As he reaches the ring, he looks at some of the weapons around ringside, his eyes going over a ladder on the entrance ramp, some chairs and a garbage can and the infamous thumbtack ball pit, before he jumps onto the apron and gets into the ring. He moves right to the middle of the ring and turns to face the ramp before giving Anna a look. His music dies, awaiting the arrival of the Vanguard Knight Mesh.
The lights go out.
Then, a deep, menacing voice echoes throughout the arena in the darkness as Black Blade by Two Steps From Hell plays in the background. The Voice: The WFWF has been cursed. For many years, the Ahriman family has plagued the company with their evil deeds. A loud, monstrous roar blasts throughout the arena as smoke starts emerging from the entrance stage. The Voice: The Queen, Lila Sleater hired the services of one knight – The crowd pops!
One…Vanguard Knight to scour the land and rid the WFWF of the Ahriman Curse… Forever! Sounds of thunder echo in the background. The Voice: There’s a witch in our midst, the daughter of one who pledged an oath to the Fallen Angel, Satan. A witch so wicked and so vile that in these dark times, the WFWF doesn’t need a hero… It needs a professional. Suddenly, a pair orange eyes are seen in the darkness, staring at Anna. The Voice: Tonight, the Vanguard Knight shall light the fire… In complete synchronization, the crowd says the mantra along with the voice –AND BURN THE WITCH! A large gust of smoke shoots out from the behind the curtain until a large mechanical yet realistic looking dragon stomps through the entrance stage, roaring and flapping its massive wings.
The blue scaled dragon tucks its head in and breathes fire; the flame so big it reaches the end of the entrance ramp, nearly setting the ring apron aflame!
Anna doesn’t flinch.
The dragon roars again before settling down as a spotlight is shined atop its head – where a blue knight is spotted!
The knight raises the Vanguard Championship above their head as the spotlight shines off its metal armor where some of its getup is seen: a black corset with black laces, the corset has thicker pieces of leather sewn on top, almost looking like body armor. For a belt, the knight simply has a piece of rope tied around their waist with a black skirt with metal plates on it and black leggings. Her boots are black with brown fur wrapped around it with pieces of metal and string holding it in place.
On one hand, a long metal gauntlet.
On the other – the barbed wire glove from Penny.
Anna pretends to be dozing off in the ring.
The knight then grabs its helmet with both hands and removes it…
The crowd explodes!
It’s Mesh! Alecia Matthews: Listen to this crowd!! Daniel Knight: What was that? I can barely hear you over the roar from the crowd!! Her blue hair is braided into a long ponytail with a silver circlet dug into her hair with a blue gem in the center as it glistens under the spotlight.
Black and blue warpaint is scribbled across Mesh’s face, looking determined as she uses the rope from the harness for the dragon and slides down onto the walkway. A kendo stick is holstered to her back.
It was the next best thing next to a greatsword.
With the Vanguard Championship around her waist, her regular theme song starts to play as bright colored lights flash throughout. As the colorful lights circle above, more lights rise from the ground and move in sync, forwards and backwards. As the song continues to build, the light moves faster, flashing rapidly. The crowd starts getting into the song, the lights suddenly start to flash and flicker, painting the arena. The lights themselves are moving in sync to the beat of the song. She then starts dancing to the beat of the song, breakdancing and shuffling. Even the giant dragon behind her bobs its head to the beat!
She poses for the crowd, raising her hands in the air and pumping it up! As she walks down the ramp, she dances underneath one of the ladders at ringside. Alecia Matthews: Mesh is certainly pressing her luck after doing something like that. She continues to shuffle, holding her arms out to high five some of the party people in the crowd. She suddenly stops, points and pops! She hasn't lost a step as she keeps in rhythm. The crowd mimics her every move! She walks over to the announce table and places a brown bag next to Daniel Knight. Daniel Knight: Don’t worry, Meshie! If I think I know what that is, I’ll keep it safe! She runs through the bottom ropes, breakdances back to her feet and pose for the crowd; hands up in the air as she stands atop the turnbuckle!
Mesh then turns his attention to Anna, who’s standing in the corner with Sakabatō in hand. The two women stare each other down before Mesh jump off the top rope.
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
The crowd is unrelenting! Without taking their eyes off each other, Mesh hands the Vanguard Championship to Referee Cameron Stone as Christa Adina, her sparking gold dress glimmering under the lights, makes the introduction. Christa Adina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the WFWF Vanguard Championship! MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH! Christa Adina: Introducing first, the challenger! From Tempe, Arizona, she is Anastasia Annaliese Ahriman! The crowd immediately boos at the Witch Anna as she keeps staring at Mesh, a smirk on her face. The boos are deafening! The loudest boos of the night! Christa Adina: And her opponent – Massive pop from the crowd!
In contrast, the loudest cheer of the night!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
10,000 people all clapping in unison for Mesh.
Those in the front row bang the barricade in front of them, sounding almost as if there’s an earthquake happening live! Christa Adina: From Los Angeles, CA, she is the reigning and defending WFWF Vanguard Champion……Mesh! The crowd erupts!
Referee Cameron Stone holds the Vanguard Championship above his head. Alecia Matthews: That’s what it’s all about right there. Daniel Knight: I mean – yeah, but after what these two said about each other in their vlogs, I think it’s about more than just the championship. Mesh takes her entrance gear off…except for the barbed wire glove. She looks at it and smiles.
Suddenly, the referee grabs a microphone. Anna and Mesh are confused but know he's probably saying thank you to WFWFs fans. But that's not what he's gonna say. Cameron Stone: By now, most of you here, and watching from home have seen Anna's video- Mesh is totally confused, Anna smirks.
And I can say with all honesty, I'm going to go by what she said. Call this straight. Mesh more confused. But fate is a funny thing. After Anna said she was staying, win or lose tonight... Mesh is starting to lose her jaw.Cameron Stone: I got a phone call from my lawyer. Guess who just won their lawsuit against Lila Sleater? The crowd cheers! Mesh's jaw is on the floor, same as Anna. So, ladies I don't mean to steal your spotlight. I don't like having to ref this match, but I'll see it through fair. But if you don't mind...I'd like to ask a question… Anna nods, Mesh sighs.Cameron Stone: To anybody in the locker room who's looking for a fight, I'm willing to oblige. Make your presence known at Stay Gold when I come out. Because I'll see whoever answers the call in HELL. Mega pop from the crowd! Anna smiles, Mesh gasps.
I'm back, bitches! Alecia Matthews and Daniel Knight: WHAT?! Cameron Stone tosses the microphone aside and acknowledges the crowd before signaling for the bell.
DING! DING! DING!
The two women circle the ring, Anna with her hand on Sakabatō, her fingers wrapped around the handle of the double blade as her knuckles turn white.
Anna smirks while Mesh stares at her back with a serious look on her face.
Mesh is doing her best Doomfist impression, with her gloved hand cocked back with her left arm out in front of her.
Anna slowly lifts the sword above her head, Mesh winds her arm up, clinching her fist tighter.
The two women go to hit each other!
But they stop.
Slowly, they back away from each other, going to their respective corners.
With their eyes still glued to one another, Anna sets Sakabatō down, gently on the mat under the turnbuckle while Mesh slowly takes off the barbed-wire glove. Alecia Matthews: What are they doing? Daniel Knight: Don’t you see, Matthews? They want to use the weapons for the killing blow. They want to fight each other first, to see just who exactly the better warrior is. Once a warrior has been bested by the other, they will accept their fate in battle and die an honorable death. Alecia Matthews: Umm…. Daniel Knight: That’s just speculation, of course. My professional opinion? I hope Mesh vanquishes the Witch! Yeah! Both women have nothing but their fists now.
Anna and Mesh suddenly get in each other’s face.
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
Anna is mouthing words to Mesh but she isn’t backing down.
Anna then shoves Mesh, who smirks.
Mesh then shoves her back a bit harder.
Anna shoves Mesh into the ropes, which in turn allows Mesh to bounce off the ropes, drilling Anna in the face with a forearm!
Daniel Knight: Oh, it’s on now!
The two women start trading blows!
Anna with a right hand, Mesh with a follow up!
Anna ducks the punch and tackles Mesh to the ground! In a mounted position, Anna punches away at the target that is Mesh’s face, but the Vanguard Knight manages to get her hands up, blocking most of the shots.
Mesh manages to roll over and reverse the position, Mesh now mounting Anna and drilling her in the face with the kandis on her wrist. Daniel Knight: This is the only way this match could have started! There’s been a lot of heated words exchanged between these two and both women came to end the career of the other. Alecia Matthews: Oh! Look at Anna! Using her legs to squeeze Mesh’s stomach like a snake strangling its prey! Daniel Knight: Kinda fitting, don’t you think? Alecia Matthews: How so? Daniel Knight: Because Anna is a snake. Mesh uses the ropes for leverage, using them to stand up but Anna hangs on, attempting to squeeze the life out of her opponent.
The Vanguard Knight grits her teeth as she manages to stand up…before quickly slamming Anna onto the mat, breaking her hold.
Mesh immediately bounces off the ropes with a baseball slide, sending Anna to the outside, kicking her in her side!
She’s antsy, she waits for Anna to get up before she runs the ropes again and dives through the middle rope with a suicide dive, but she overshoots and crashes onto the announce table!
Alecia Matthews & Daniel Knight: OH!! Her back bounces off the edge, shaking and rattling the table, causing the cover to go flying! Anna leans against the barricades, laughing.
More like cackling because you know…she’s a witch, man. Daniel Knight: Mesh might’ve gotten too reckless too soon. Alecia Matthews: Which means that Anna is now in full control. Anna stands over the flailing Mesh, grasping at her back and keeps cackling before she grabs the braided ponytail and drags Mesh across the padded outside floor.
Using all her strength, Anna swings Mesh like a baseball bat, slamming her back first against the barricades! Daniel Knight: Oh no! If Mesh hurts her back in this match…we know what happened when she hurt her ribs at Arizona…. Alecia Matthews: You know Anna is going to target that. She’s too smart. Anna then kicks the downed Mesh in the ribs with the tip of her boots!
Ouch.
The fans in the front row shout expletives at her as she stomps away at Mesh, using her boot to choke her. Cameron Stone can’t do anything but watch.
With Mesh down, Anna walks around the ring and grabs Sakabatō. Daniel Knight: Oh, I don’t like this one bit. With the reverse blade in her hands, Anna makes her way to the fallen Mesh, preparing her for the killing blow but then she stops.
She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath before returning the blade back to her corner –
Where Mesh grabs her and throws her into the steel ring steps from behind!
The crowd goes nuts! Alecia Matthews: It’s like Anna wanted to keep punishing Mesh – or as she put it, “teach her a lesson” but that cost her. Daniel Knight: Oh, so you’ll watch Anna’s pathetic attempt at a vlog, but you won’t watch Mesh’s? Alecia Matthews: For the record, I watched both. Daniel Knight: Uh huh. Sure, you did. Anna crawls away, using the barricades to help herself up until Mesh charges towards her and spears her through the barricade, breaking a section off!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
Cameron Stone goes to check on the wrestlers. Daniel Knight: Not even ten minutes have passed, and they have already broken stuff! Mesh is the first one up to her feet, picking Anna up and throwing her inside the ring. She catches her breath while Anna starts to come to.
Once the Witch is on her knees, Mesh swings her legs around, the front of her steel fur boots smacking Anna across her crucifix tattoo, right in the heart with the dance kicks.

Mesh does a quick dance and shimmies where she turns around and gives Anna a little Stinkface, putting her rear end in the Witch’s face. Alecia Matthews: Oh my! Daniel Knight: My girl is just toying with Anna. I love it! Alecia Matthews: I think Anna might've liked that though from what I've heard... Embarrassed, Anna shoves Mesh off, sending her into the ropes but the Vanguard Knight follows up with a Shining Wizard!
Anna is out!
Mesh hooks the leg!

Anna kicks out! Daniel Knight: Wow, I’m surprised Cam is calling it down the middle. Alecia Matthews: I wouldn’t expect anything less from my old broadcast partner. Mesh drags Anna near the turnbuckle, the Vanguard Knight slowly climbs to the top, going for the 630. Daniel Knight: Mesh is trying to end this one early. Imagine the embarrassment if Mesh makes quick work of Anna at SuperBrawl? Alecia Matthews: It might be enough to truly rid the WFWF of the “Ahriman curse”. Daniel Knight: And we’d all want tha- Alecia Matthews: Oh my! Anna’s up! Anna’s up! The Witch managed to get up and shake the ropes, causing Mesh to fall, seated atop the turnbuckle. Anna grabs Mesh, swings her arm across the back of her neck and slams her down from the top with a superplex!
With Mesh down, Anna eyes Sakabatō.
She crawls towards the legendary blade…and smiles. Daniel Knight: Oh no. Like a snake, she slithers towards Anna, climbs on top of her and goes to stab Mesh…but she grabs her hands and the two women jockey for position!
Mesh and Anna grit their teeth; Anna using everything she has to do to bring the sword down on Mesh and Mesh doing everything she can NOT to get stabbed. Alecia Matthews: I don’t like this… Their hands tremble as they fight for dominance.
Mesh manages to move Anna’s hands away from her, stabbing the canvas instead!
The Vanguard Knight kicks Anna which forces her off.
Anna scurries away into the corner but Mesh gives chase. As she lunges at her opponent, Anna uses the sheath of Sakabatō to spike Mesh in the face!
Mesh flails in pain as Anna watches on, smiling.
Despite it being dull, it did some damage as small droplets of blood splatter in a line, dripping from the bridge of Mesh’s nose.
Anna lunges at her opponent with the blade in hand but Mesh counters with a drop toe hold, sending Sakabatō flying out of Anna’s hands! Alecia Matthews: An STF?! From Mesh?! Daniel Knight: Where did she learn that?! With one leg behind Mesh’s thigh, she cranks back on the neck and back of her opponent, Anna’s hands frantically looking for anything to save her!
Mesh is screaming, trying to pull back as far as she can! Cameron Stone gets in perfect position to see if Anna wants to quit but she refuses!
Using every bit of strength she has left, Anna crawls towards the bottom rope, her hand shaking as she extends her fingers as far as she can, barely grazing the rope!
Daniel Knight: What is Anna going to do?? With no other options left, Anna digs her sharp fingernails into Mesh’s hands and arms! Alecia Matthews: Well, that’s one way to get out of a hold... The sharpness of her fingernails causes Mesh to let go of the hold which allows Anna to send Mesh into the corner, driving her shoulder into Mesh’s stomach!
Mesh gets her legs up and rolls Anna up into a pinning predicament before rolling away from Anna, drilling her in the face with a dropkick!
Mesh waits for Anna to get up, waiting patiently in the opposite corner –
Once she’s up, Mesh runs towards her opponent, going for a running back elbow but Anna moves! Alecia Matthews: Running bulldog from Anna! SMACK! Alecia Matthews: What a stiff kick from Anna to Mesh’s ribs! Daniel Knight: Oh no! Not the ribs! Mesh’s body flails on the mat, grasping her ribs as she rolls to the outside.
Anna picks her up and irish whips Mesh into the steel ring steps! Many of the fans in the front row scream, twist and shout for Mesh to make her comeback!
Anna makes eye contact with one of the Good Vibe Tribe members – and smirks. Daniel Knight: One, angry Good Vibe Tribe member is the equivalent of swarm of wasps. Alecia Matthews: What about 100,000 angry Mesh fans? Daniel Knight: That’s the equivalent to hell on earth. Alecia Matthews: I don’t blame them – they adore Mesh and some of them are willing to put themselves in harm’s way for her. Anna and the fan: a twenty-year old college student are exchanging words, although Anna is chill like the villain she is while the fan is awfully riled up.
Many expletives are being thrown, mostly by the fan until –
SMACK!
Alecia Matthews: Mesh with a chair right to the spine! Anna falls forward, leaning onto the barricade as the fan points and laughs as Mesh gives the fan a high-five.
Mesh sends Anna overboard into hostile territory – into the crowd which is mostly on Mesh’s side.
Anna crawls away but Mesh is up above her, stomping away at her.
The Vanguard Knight motions at a nearby fan if she can grab the overpriced cup of beer – the entire arena pops!
YES!
YES!
YES!
YES! Alecia Matthews: A little callback to Sin City Showdown where we saw Katharsis do the same thing! Mesh grabs the first two cups that are held out in front of her and pours them on Anna!
She then grabs Anna’s face and rubs it into the dirty concrete floor and the little puddle of beer! Daniel Knight: That’s just nasty! Alecia Matthews: Oh! Now she’s pounding her head against the concrete! More stomps the back of Anna from her opponent. With a handful of hair, Mesh slams Anna backfirst into the barricade.
Followed by a dropkick to the face!
Mesh picks Anna up and to the pleasure of the sold-out AT&T Stadium, Mesh drags Anna through the crowd as they pelt her with beer, food and other things they have on them! Daniel Knight: Like dragging a witch through the town square! Alecia Matthews: Mesh did promise that she would vanquish Anna from the WFWF. Mesh then rams Anna’s head into the solid wall that leads to the staircase to the higher seats.
As Anna recovers, Mesh swings the chair around, sandwiching her between the wall!
Another shot!
And another!
And another!
Mesh goes for another shot, but Anna rolls out of harms way, causing Mesh to strike the wall instead!
She drops the chair but then Anna grabs Mesh and throws her headfirst into the wall!
Anna then grabs the chair and crushes Mesh between the wall, returning the favor.
The Witch Anna then proceeds to choke Mesh with the chair, pinning the backrest against her throat!
Cameron Stone gets in position and asks Mesh if she wants to quit.
Dumb question.
Of course, Mesh isn’t going to quit.
The fans nearby root Mesh on which only gives her strength.
Mesh uses her legs to kick Anna in the ribs, causing her grip on the chair to weaken which allows the Vanguard Knight to bash Anna’s head against the wall.
She then grabs Anna and drags her back through the crowd and throws her over the barricades! Mesh stands on top of the barricade and poses for the crowd, which results in a loud swarm of cheers.
Anna scurries her way back inside the ring and grabs Sakabatō.
Mesh stops as Anna stands in position with the blade in her hand.
The champion smiles. Alecia Matthews: That smile is devious. Daniel Knight: That’s how you know that Mesh just thought of something. Alecia Matthews: Now, I mean this with all due respect but….Mesh is messed in the head. She walks over to the timekeepers area - Daniel Knight: Meshie! Use the gauntlet instead! It’ll hurt more! Alecia Matthews: What happened to ‘being impartial’? She unholsters the kendo stick from her metal armor – the next best thing next to a greatsword. The crowd cheers.
They know where this is going. Alecia Matthews: Umm….Mesh? That’s bamboo. Daniel Knight: No, it’s not. It’s a greatsword. Alecia Matthews: Umm… Anna starts snickering but Mesh is serious.
She swings the kendo stick as if it were a sword. Daniel Knight: You know, Mesh has taken sword training classes in the past. Alecia Matthews: But….that’s not a sword though. Anna slowly pulls the legendary blade from its sheath, slowly, treating the blade with respect.
Mesh treats the kendo stick like a sword and holds it across her face like a knight would. Alecia Matthews: I hope Mesh remembers that Anna’s father got stabbed in the hand in his last match... Daniel Knight: You fail to mention that he got stabbed by his own sword. Alecia Matthews: Does that really matter? Someone still got stabbed. Daniel Knight: Yeah but it’s not like Samael died or anything. Alecia Matthews: *sigh* Anna, with the legendary reverse blade in hand lunges at Mesh but the Vanguard Knight steps to the side and –
WHACK!
Mesh drills Anna across the stomach with the “greatsword” and follows up with another shot right on her back!
Mesh laughs, twirling the kendo stick in her hand like the boss she is.
As Anna turns around, Mesh leans back on her right legs like Steve Finley although it’s very unlikely Mesh even knows who Steve Finley is.
Point is – she leans back and swings away, hitting Anna in the gut which causes her to drop Sakabatō – Mesh’s eyes light up.
A real sword.
She grabs the blade and gets ideas. Daniel Knight: A knight’s true companion isn’t their horse – it’s their sword. Alecia Matthews: That’s not her sword though. Daniel Knight: You’ve been bad mouthing Mesh for most of this match. Did you drink some haterade this morning? Alecia Matthews: I’m just being realistic. Mesh is having too much fun out there, she needs to take this seriously. Daniel Knight: Whatevs. Anna struggles to breathe on all fours as Mesh stands above her with the blade of her father. She turns it over to the dull side and spikes Anna’s spine!
Anna howls in pain!
She uses the ropes to help herself up, but Mesh is behind her. She then turns the blade to the sharp side and drags it across Anna’s face, causing her to bleed.
Mesh looks like a cartoon villain as she glides the blade across Anna’s face…and the crowd loves it!
As Anna scurries away, leaving a trail of blood Mesh wipes some blood off Anna’s face….and licks it! Daniel Knight: That’s such a Penny move. Mesh then sits on Anna’s back and continues dragging the sharp blade across Anna’s forehead as she screams in pain!
The Vanguard Knight hops off and proceeds to lick the blood from the blade. Alecia Matthews: So, Mesh is a vampire now. Awesome. Daniel Knight: A real one too because she isn’t sparkling. Anna is a bloody mess, but Mesh isn’t done. Daniel Knight: The sacrilege! Alecia Matthews: Mesh just tossed Sakabatō aside without hesitation. That’s like, spitting on the Ahriman name. Mesh leaves the ring and grabs the barbed-wire glove from the announce table. Mesh: I know what it’s like to lose. To feel so desperately that you’re right, yet to fail nonetheless. Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives. Mesh starts to laugh, starring at the glove. Mesh: Or should I say, I have. She goes back inside the ring and watches Anna lay in a pool of blood. Cameron Stone looks clearly uncomfortable, but he has to remain neutral.
Mesh walks right past him as she mounts Anna…and proceeds to punch her in the face with the barbed wire glove!
The crowd moans and groans.
With every slow punch that connects, Mesh twists and turns the glove, mangling the face of her opponent even more!
Anna’s legs flail underneath but she’s trapped.
Mesh is laughing as she drops down the glove right on Anna’s face! Alecia Matthews: Okay, Mesh has officially lost her mind! Daniel Knight: Look at her eyes! Suddenly, Cameron Stone grabs Mesh and lifts her off Anna!
Cameron Stone begs Mesh to stop as he checks on Anna, who’s barely recognizable.
He helps Anna up to her feet, her entire face covered in dark red blood, but her expressions can still be seen – and she’s pissed.
Anna the shoves Cameron Stone aside and charges towards Mesh!
The two women brawl to the outside, near the infamous thumbtack ball-pit!
Mesh manages to get away from the bloodied Anna before ramming her face against the ring post.
Anna is stunned, standing in front of the ball-pit!
Mesh hops onto the apron, leaps onto the third rope and twirls her body around with a crossbody- Alecia Matthews and Daniel Knight: Oh….my….. Sending Anna – and herself into the ball-pit! All of AT&T Stadium groan in unison! Alecia Matthews and Daniel Knight: GOD! Both women are in pain, but Anna got it worse; her back is littered with thousands (or maybe millions of thumbtacks) while Mesh’s hands and knees are covered with tacks as well!
The Witch howls in pain as blood continues to drip from her face!
Cameron Stone immediately rushes to check both combatants, his hands at the top of his head, pulling at his hair.
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
Mesh is the first to move after that and – she’s laughing as she notices the few tacks that are jabbed into her hands and knees. Alecia Matthews: I’m starting to think that maybe, Mesh is into pain and blood and things like that? Daniel Knight: She did say she’s like it hardcore… and boy, is this match hardcore or what? Cameron Stone helps Anna out of the ball-pit as the cameraman gets in a perfect spot to see the carnage – the entire back half of her body is covered in shiny, glistening thumbtacks! Daniel Knight: Oh God! They’re even in her head! Anna’s body convulses as Cameron Stone guides her to the ring steps.
She winches after every step, but Mesh doesn’t care!
He shoves Stone aside and wails on Anna’s shiny back!
Anna screams in pain as Mesh sends her into the barricades – back first!
Mesh then irish whips Anna into the steel ring steps on the opposite side as Cameron Stone tries to discipline Mesh but she’s running on pure adrenaline – and satisfaction for the amount of pain she’s put Anna through.
The Vanguard Knight then grabs the kendo stick and proceeds to whack Anna’s back, thumbtacks and all! She scurries away from her, rolling back inside the ring. Anna manages to grab Sakabatō that’s lying nearby and as Mesh approaches her with the kendo stick, Anna takes a swing with the sharp edge of the reverse blade, but Mesh catches her in a crossface!
Alecia Matthews: What!? Where did she learn that?! Daniel Knight: Forget that, look at what how she has it locked in! Ouch! Using the kendo stick, Mesh presses it against Anna’s teeth, enhancing the pain tenfold! Anna’s muffled screams are heard as Cameron Stone gets in her face, asking her if she wants to quit!
Only thing she can do is motion her hands no as Mesh cranks back on her neck!
Anna reaches for the Sakabatō as it’s her only way to freedom at this point but it’s out of grasp!
Alecia Matthews: No one look will at Anna differently if she taps out right here! Mesh put her through the grinder! Daniel Knight: It’s about honor for Anna! If she quits, she failed her father and her family name! She can’t quit! Anna reaches for Sakabatō using everything she has left and jabs Mesh in the face! Alecia Matthews: Oh God! Anna just stabbed Mesh in the face! Mesh flails around the ring, grabbing her face as Anna catches her breath, realizing how close she was to tapping out. She gets up with the reverse blade in hand and slowly turns around to look at her opponent.
Mesh is down, her head resting on the bottom rope as blood pours from a deep gash on her forehead – smiling as the blood runs down her face. Alecia Matthews: Why is Mesh smiling?! Daniel Knight: Because Mesh is crazy too! Anna ties Mesh’s arms into the ropes, leaving her defenseless…and returns the favor by slicing Mesh’s face with the sharp edge of the blade!
Despite her smiling at the sight of her own blood, it still hurts and Mesh screams.
Anna too, licks the blood off the blade.
Leaving Mesh tied up in the ropes, Anna rolls to the outside near the thumbtack ball-pit and grabs a nearby bucket.
She aggressively scoops up thumbtacks, filling the bucket to the brim before heading back inside.
Anna looks over at her helpless opponent and smirks as she dumps the bucket over, spilling all the thumbtacks in a circle!
The crowd starts to murmur!
With the Sakabatō in hand, Anna starts slicing away at Mesh’s clothes and legs, leaving small slices and gashes on her arms and legs, ripping through her top and socks.
Anna then turns the blade over and jabs Mesh in the gut with the dull side! Alecia Matthews: Mesh is defenseless against Anna’s attacks! You know she’s enjoying this! Daniel Knight: Yeah, Mesh has put Anna through hell here tonight.! Anna frees Mesh from the ropes and rubs her face on the rope, burning it! Mesh is slouched over in the corner as Anna lifts her up, seating her on the top rope.
Anna grabs Mesh’s head, swings her arm over behind her neck and with a superplex- Alecia Matthews and Daniel Knight: Oh my… Dropping Mesh onto the thumbtacks – returning the favor!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T! Alecia Matthews and Daniel Knight: GOD! The sold-out crowd at AT&T Stadium all moan and groan as Mesh yelps, contorting her back as to move away from the thousands (maybe millions) of thumbtacks lodged in her back!Anna smirks as she takes great pleasure in seeing Mesh squirm until Mesh stops, turns her head to look at Anna…and starts to laugh again! Daniel Knight: Mesh is like, “This isn’t even my final form!” Anna immediately jumps up and steps on Mesh, driving the thumbtacks, deeper and deeper into her back, head, arms and legs! Anna then stomps on Mesh with both boots and covers her! 1! 2! Mesh kicks out! Anna pounds the mat in frustration. Mesh rolls away, getting even more thumbtacks impaled in her before grabbing a handful of thumbtacks and putting them in her mouth! Before Anna can realize what happened, Mesh spits them at her opponent and pounds away at her with stiff kicks and forearms! Mesh clotheslines Anna over the ropes but her arms get trapped, leaving Anna hanging by her arms on the outside, in a a semi crucifixion position! Daniel Knight: Oh, how the tides have turned! Mesh sees the Sakabatō and taunts Anna as she hangs by her arms.
Using the dull side of the blade, Mesh spikes Anna in the stomach!
Again!
Again!
Mesh then walks over to the announce table and grabs the brown bag from earlier.
Inside?
The crown of thorns! Daniel Knight: Here comes the blasphemy I mentioned earlier! Anna is still feeling the effects of getting almost stabbed as Mesh continues to taunt her before flipping her off!
Mesh then pricks the barbed wire crown onto Anna’s head, causing her to wail in pain!
Alecia Matthews: Oh my….this is crossing a line…. Daniel Knight: Mesh literally just said “F You!” to Anna’s family and Shawn Malakai! Mesh continues to drill Anna in the stomach with the Sakabatō as the piercing pain from the crown continues to leave Anna in discomfort.
Using her legs, Anna shoves Mesh into the barricades which gives her time to get free from the ropes.
She immediately takes off the crown of thorns, wincing as it tears through her flesh before throwing it at Mesh!
Anna grabs her by the hair and throws her back inside the ring and proceeds to beat on her, but Mesh grabs the rope, forcing Cameron Stone to break the hold!
Anna then shoves him and accidentally sends him butt first into the tacks from earlier! Alecia Matthews: Poor Cam, he’s seen a lot in this match but even he wasn’t safe! Anna realizes what she’s done and immediately goes to him, helping him up.
From behind, Mesh dropkicks Anna into Cameron, sending him to the outside and landing onto more tacks! Alecia Matthews: Oh no! Anna is laid out, her throat on the middle rope! Mesh bounces off and hits her with the Tiger Feint Kick, sending Anna back into the tacks!
The crowd pops! Alecia Mathews: Oh my God! Mesh could do it right here! Daniel Knight: Come on, Mesh! Come on! A broken, beaten, scarred and bloodied Mesh stands on the apron, feeling the vibes from the crowd. She jumps up onto the third rope, going for the springboard shooting star press!
Suddenly, Anna moves away which means Mesh lands on the tacks facefirst!
Swarms of groans cause the stadium to buzz! Alecia Matthews: This is getting too violent for my taste. Anna scurries away, grabbing Sakabatō and its sheath. She puts it around the back of Mesh's neck and finishes her off with the Triple A! Alecia Matthews: Anna held onto the sheath! Ouch! Driving the thumbtacks deeper...and deeper into Mesh's back! Anna’s back hits the mat so Mesh eats the whole impact and it doesn't bounce.
No recoil.
No nothing.
Both women are out!
All of ringside is a mess!Alecia Matthews: That Triple A looked nasty! I don’t know if Mesh will kick out of this! Daniel Knight: It’s okay! There’s no referee so Mesh can still win this! Referee Cameron Stone, although in pain slowly makes his way inside the ring, his back and rear end stuck with thumbtacks.
BURN THE WITCH!
BURN THE WITCH!
BURN THE WITCH!
BURN THE WITCH!
BURN THE WITCH!
BURN THE WITCH! Alecia Matthews: This crowd is deafening! Anna is the first one to show signs of life.
She crawls towards Mesh whose limbs are sprawled out away from her. Alecia Matthews: Is Anna gonna do it?! Is she going to beat Mesh to become the new Vanguard Champion?! Cameron Stone crawls towards the two women as Anna swings her arm around, laying it across Mesh’s chest.
He crawls as closely to the two as he can, swinging his arm around for the count!

DING! DING! DING! Alecia Matthews: OH MY GOD! Everybody in attendance inside AT&T Stadium is stunned in silence.
Looks of shock, horror and confusion.
It hasn’t quite hit the younger fans on what just happened. Alecia Matthews: Oh my god…. No music plays for Anna as even the production truck is shocked at what’s just happened. Christa Adina: Here is your winner and the new WFWF Vanguard Champion…..Anna Ahriman! Cameron Stone fights through the pain, grabs the Vanguard Championship and drops it on Anna who remains slumped over Mesh's bloodied, thumbtacked body.
Anna gets emotional as she realizes what has happened, Cameron Stone gives her a big hug as he appears to be whispering something into the new champions ear.
The quiet, shocked crowd watches on.Alecia Matthews: We have a new Vanguard Champion…..I was not expecting this... Cameron Stone lifts the ropes so Anna can crawl through them much easier.
A bloodied Anna Ahriman makes her way up the entrance ramp with her Vanguard Championship hanging proudly off her shoulder.
A weird sight, no doubt.
Meanwhile, back in the ring Mesh is also a bloody mess, her entire outfit is painted red with her blood and her whole body is littered with thumbtacks and cuts.
The crowd, however, doesn’t care that she lost and is a mess – they chant her name.
Loudly.
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
A few of the younger WFWF fans are seen crying into their parents’ shoulders as they have witnessed the fall of the Vanguard Knight.
Regardless, Mesh is determined.
Using the ropes for assistance, she manages to get up off the mat which results in a huge round of applause. Alecia Matthews: Listen to this crowd! They love Mesh, no matter what, even though it must suck having lost the Vanguard Championship! Daniel Knight: Yup. Alecia Matthews: We all know Mesh carried that title with pride! Daniel Knight: Yup. Alecia Matthews: Awww, are you okay? Are you upset that Mesh lost? MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
MESH!
She smiles, although it’s hard to see with all the blood and tacks on her face. She manages to take a few steps forward until…
WHACK!
Alecia Matthews: Oh! Needles from behind! Baseball bat shot to the back! The crowd erupts in boos as Mesh goes down, groaning in pain as the sadistic Scottish Psychopath savagely beats on Mesh with the baseball bat.
The referee tries to stop him but gets hit in the face with the bat for his chivalry.
DING! DING! DING!
The timekeeper tries to restore order at ringside like a judge but no one’s listening. Alecia Matthews: Somebody get security! Needles is trying to kill Mesh! Five WFWF security officers charge towards the ring but they drop like flies one by one via Needles and his bat.
Mesh does her best to scurry away, but Needles grabs her top and rips it off, exposing the sports bra underneath. With such a large bullseye on her body, Needles drills her with the bat across her stomach and once she goes down, another shot to her spine. DING! DING! DING! Alecia Matthews: Somebody help Mesh! Someone stop this! Daniel Knight: No one is going to help her. Alecia Matthews: ….what? As the beatdown of Mesh ensues, Daniel Knight rises from his chair with a menacing look on his face as he calls for a microphone. Daniel Knight: Ladies and gentlemen, what you are witnessing here right in front of you is a public execution! The boos are deafening as Alecia Matthews watches on in shock. Needles stands over Mesh, who’s a bloodied, battered heap. Daniel Knight: For eight, long, excruciating months I have pretended to have liked Melanie Villagomez. He points at the bloody carcass of Mesh. That’s Mesh’s real name for all the members of the Good Vibe Tribe in attendance. Eight months of a façade…that everyone fell for. Wicked laugh by Knight. Daniel Knight: I never liked Mesh and I never will, and I have yearned to see her gone from the WFWF…and that is where Needles comes in. You remember a man named Chris Priceless? Daniel Knight: Well, he’s dead. If not now, he will be and that’s thanks to Needles over there. Knight points at Needles which causes more chaos and mayhem at ringside as fans proceed to throw trash in the ring. Daniel Knight: I had the pleasure of calling the match where Needles killed Priceless and that’s where it hit me. Knight makes his way inside the ring, standing next to his accomplice, both of them smiling. Daniel Knight: For eight months, Needles and I have been meticulously planning the execution of your Vanguard Champion - well, former Vanguard Champion. Loudest boo of the night, surpassing Anna's during her entrance! The first course of action? Finding out where Ms. Villagomez lives so the mindgames could begin. The announcer hunches down, next to Mesh. Daniel Knight: Remember that vase of flowers that I gave you after your big win? Yeah, there was a tracker at the bottom of the vase, so we were able to find out where you live fairly quickly. Oh. And for the record, I don’t even have a sister. Danielle? Really? You actually thought I had a sister named Danielle? You’re stupider than you look. Everything I ever told you or said about you? All lies and you bought it hook, line and sinker. You even called me one of your friends in your latest vlog. Dumb bitch. Daniel Knight: With the tracker working as planned, we have been watching you ever since, hence those pictures you stumbled across at your hotel room. Yup, that was us. More trash continues to fill the ring.
The stage was set: SNAFU. The show where you were in the main event and the plan was after your match, Needles would interfere and…well, do the job. But then that goddamn Chris Priceless came back and messed everything up! The crowd doesn’t care if Chris Priceless’ name was mentioned.
They.
Are.
Pissed. Daniel Knight: Thankfully, Priceless didn’t last long afterwards and now, he’s on life support at the hospital and he’ll probably die one of these days. That’s the problem with poison: it’s clean and efficient but goddamn, does it take forever to kill a guy. Then, at Event Horizon, we were going to try again and we could’ve ended your career right then…except Daphne wanted to show the world that she isn’t washed up and Needles over here got into a little…confrontation with our local janitor. Resolution? Ms. Ahriman over there – Knight points at the new Vanguard Champion who watches on from the stage, looking confused and angry. You stuck your nose in my business! You decided to attack Mesh and then brought back that…that…disgrace back for a one-off and everything fell apart. Daniel Knight: But I want to say thank you for beating Mesh within an inch of her pathetic life just now because look at her – she’s done. You see why I’m so…. relived that our plan has finally come to fruition? Because after so many roadblocks – there’s nothing stopping us now, Mesh. Anna realizes what’s going to happen, so she makes her way to the ring, but she’s so weakened and beaten from the match that she falls to the ground! Cameron Stone rushes the ring to help Mesh but Needles drills him in the head with his baseball bat! Knight picks Mesh up and brings her to her knees. Needles points both bats at her head and delivers the killing blow – using all his strength, he crushes Mesh’s head between both bats, dark red blood pouring out of every opening on her head.
Just like he did Priceless.
Mesh falls forward and goes limb as dark red blood puddle starts to form under her.
Some fans try to jump the barricades, but they are stopped by security!
A riot might ensue!
Her body convulses slightly. Daniel Knight: With that, ladies and gentlemen – our plan is complete. Mesh is no more! Knight touches Mesh and gets his hand covered in blood – and proceeds and wipe her blood on his face! Anna is slowly making her way to the ring although she keeps fumbling. Daniel Knight: The WFWF is a place for serious wrestling and I refuse to let this…clown come along and ruin our sport. Just ask guys like Drakz or Draven or even Kyzer before he lost his balls. They don’t like Mesh either so it’s not just me. Knight gets plastered in the face with a thing of popcorn but she shrugs it off. Daniel Knight: I hated being the good guy announcer, but I kept up my act for eight months because that's how much I hate you. He looks right at Mesh.
I was very confident in Needles to do the job and my investment paid off. The announcer pauses.
Well, not quite. Needles…finish her! Just like all minions do, Needles picks up the bloodied body of Mesh and does what he’s told: he scoops up her lifeless body – until Anna shoves Needles off Mesh! Anna Ahriman: You have no right! Daniel Knight: No! You will not ruin my plan! Don’t make me hurt you too, Anna. With blood and thumbtacks all over her body, Anna inches forward so her body is front of Mesh’s, protecting her. Daniel Knight: Fine. You want to protect her? Then so be it. Go be with Malakai since you love him so much. Needles - Knight signals The Scottish Psychopath. Anna stays on her knees, shielding Mesh’s body as best she can as Needles aims the two bats at her head.
Anna closes her eyes, accepting her fate until…
The psychedelic guitar screams of "Anthem of the Space" blast out over the arena speakers!
It’s Frank Lynn, hauling ass to the ring to save Mesh!
Frank slides underneath the bottom ropes and stands in front of Anna with his fists up, ready to fight.
Needles grins like a psychopath while Knight laughs. Daniel Knight: Let’s go, Needles. We’re finally finished. Say goodbye to Mesh, AT&T Stadium because this is the last time anyone will see her in a wrestling ring! He throws the microphone on the mat as Needles and him leave the ring with a swarm of boos and trash being flung at them. Many of the fans want to kill Daniel Knight but the WFWF has good security.
As Knight smiles, fans in the front row shout expletives at the announcer as he makes his way to his chair at the announce table while Needles makes his exit through the crowd, they too shout expletives at him and attempt to kill him as well but he’s too quick for him and he escapes. Daniel Knight: Okay, I’m back. Alecia Matthews: What the hell is wrong with you? Daniel Knight: I’m doing the WFWF a favor! Alecia Matthews: I genuinely thought you had changed. Daniel Knight: Then you’re just as gullible as everyone else. Alecia Matthews: A**shole. The squared circle is a gruesome sight; dark red blood has stained the mat as Mesh appears to be lifeless. Frank turns around and shakes his head in disbelief. He goes to check on Mesh, her blood staining his clothes. Anna, still crawling and in a ton of pain checks on Mesh too.
Frank and Anna give each other a look…
Frank then picks up Mesh, wrapping her limb arm around him as he helps her make their way to the back until Anna shouts at Frank, causing him to turn around.
Gritting her teeth, Anna slowly gets up as the crowd seems to have turned on Anna, cheering her instead of booing her.
She limps over to Frank, grabs Mesh’s other arm and wraps it around her neck and the two rivals put aside their differences to help Mesh out.
WFWF officials and medical staff make their way down the entrance ramp, stopping right in front of the three. They clean off some of the blood in order to help Mesh breathe. They also check on Cameron Stone who took a bat to the head.
Cut to fans in the crowd crying.
They clean her up as best they can as they put her onto a stretcher and take her to the back as quickly as possible, Frank following suit while other officials check on Anna. Alecia Matthews: Well, I know I’m not the only one here that would like an update on both women as soon as possible. Knight snickers. Alecia Matthews: Will you fu- Matthews catches herself.
Daniel Knight: It’s okay! You can say it! We’re live on pay-per-view, baby! Alecia Matthews: Just stop, okay? I can’t….I can’t believe you would do something like this.

The entire ringside area is a mess, there's blood and thumbtacks all over the black matted floor and the crowd is in unrest following what they just witnessed. WFWF staff hurry to clean up before the next match.Suddenly, the word Promises appears on the Tunatron...Daniel Knight: The hell was that? An ad for one of those crappy family-friendly shows that doesn't even last one season? Is Jerry O'Connell involved?Alecia Matthews: You heard him - he's coming to the WFWF, looking for his first opponent, just waiting to make an impact.Daniel Knight: Whatever. He'll probably just wrestle one show, lose and we'll never hear from him again. Man, it feels good being myself again!Alecia Matthews: A**hole.Daniel Knight: You know, it's so cute when you're mad at me.Alecia Matthews: Oh, piss off.Daniel Knight: You're gonna have to forgive me sooner or later. We're broadcast partners. Our on-screen relationship will be in serious jeopardy!Alecia Matthews: You lied to me for eight months. Everything you've said up until now - that was a lie.Daniel Knight: You can be mad at me all you want but what I did was right! With "The Father" and this Mason guy coming aboard, maybe now the WFWF will revert back to the glory days where it was actually a sport, not a CW show. We have an actual wrestler as the Vanguard Champion now! All is well in the WFWF now!Alecia Matthews: Scumbag. As the two announcers continue to bicker on-air, a man appears on the Tunatron. His entire body is eclipsed in darkness, his identity a mystery. His voice is distorted as to protect his true identity. Daniel Knight: And who is this Noob Saibot wannabe?Alecia Matthews: More mystery, more intrigue I guess.Daniel Knight: Is the WFWF truly up Schitt's Creek that Ms. Sleater has given a job to two edgelords and a stay-at-home dad?Alecia Matthews: Anyone will always be welcome in the WFWF and unlike you, I'm looking forward seeing what these new recruits can do in a time where the entire landscape of the WFWF will change...tonight! Christa Adina: The following match is a TRIIIPLE THREAT LADDER MATCH FOR THE WFWF INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! Daniel Knight: Now that I can be myself again, I'm actually going for anyone but Franky Baby!“Major System Error” by The Marmozets echoes throughout the arena to a chorus of boos. Christa Adina: Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 180 pounds….THE KINGSLAYER, TYLER DRAVEN!Draven bursts our from behind the curtain, unpopping the collar of his leather jacket, ignoring the fans. Instead, he keeps his eyes on what is hanging above the ring as he makes his way down the ramp. Alecia Matthews: Curious to see how Draven does here tonight. Have to consider him an odds on favorite. Daniel Knight: Maybe. He WAS trained by Trace Demon. This match is his wheelhouse.Draven takes the steps into the ring, pops his collar, rolls his neck, takes off his jacket, hands it to the attendant and props himself into a corner awaiting entrant number two.
The soft strokes of a piano echo throughout the arena. A pinch of light dims at the center of the stage with a faint white smoke. The notes get louder and louder with accompanying orchestra and chorus vocals. The words "War is God" flash on the screen over and over again, endlessly. The beat drops and the epic orchestral rendition of "Gangsta's Paradise" hammers the arena with a large thud, like an atomic bomb landed at its epicenter. A figure emerges from the stage with a grin of his face.Christa Adina: And his opponent, from Yonkers, New York…weighing in at 215 pounds, he is the longest reigning WFWF National Champion in the history of the WFWF…AAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNTE WHIIIIIIIIIIITNEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRR! Daniel Knight: I may not always care for him, but this is my pick. After seeing him upset Lynn last SuperBrawl, I can’t imagine he doesn’t want to do the same again and send the former protégé of Trace Demon down with him. Ante Whitner glimmers in a white boxing robe, hopping around for a bit of momentum going into the matchup. He shakes out his hands, stretches his arms, and cracks his neck, smiling as he's ready to "redeem" his next target. The "Redeemer" walks down the ramp with swagger and the thunderous orchestral rendition of his classic theme song in the background. He enters the ring and takes off the pale white robe, revealing the soldier he is underneath with camo gear and a propensity for violence. The smoke fades from the arena as Whitner stares down his opponent and mouths the word "redemption".The lights in the House that Jerry built go down. Silence fills the arena. Ante and Tyler circle each other in the ring while awaiting the inevitable arrival of their foe, the reigning WFWF International Champion Frank Lynn. Frank's usual entrance starts, his video showing on the jumbo sized Tunatron as "Anthem of the Space" blares out of the stadium sound system. All eyes turn towards the entrance stage. To the surprise and disappointment of everyone in the stadium, Frank does not appear on stage. Daphne comes out alone, running back and forth on the stage getting the crowd fired up. She stops center stage, a single spotlight shining down on her. Then she points up... Another spotlight reveals Frank Lynn standing on the very top of the entrance stage set, hundreds of feet above the ground. He has changed up from his usual black/red attire for white pants with a gold stripe down each side, a short white jacket with floor length gold and silver fringes on each sleeve. Frank has a microphone which he uses to shout one simple phrase: "Are you with me?" He points at the ring, targeting Ante Whitner and Tyler Draven. "ARE YOU WITH ME?!?!?" The crowd roars for the champ. Christa Adina: And their opponent, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 232 lbs...he is the reigning, defending WFWF International Champion, "The Lethal Weapon" Frank Lynnnnnn! Frank Lynn jumps off the top of the stage set. The crowd gasps, then quickly realizes he is attached to a zip line as he zooms through the sky, long fringes on his jacket waving behind him as he makes an almost super heroic entrance to the ring.
Ante, Tyler, the referee, and Christa exit the ring, not wanting to risk getting hit by a speeding Frank Lynn as he makes a perfect three point landing in the center of the ring. Daphne quickly makes her way to the ring so she can help Frank out of his entrance gear and safety harness.
Frank holds the International Championship belt over his head and spins around so everyone in attendance can get a clear view, all the while shouting over and over "ARE YOU WITH ME?!??" Ante is visibly annoyed, barely containing his anger at Frank borrowing his catch phrase... much to the joy and approval of the hundred thousand fans in attendance who let Ante and Tyler know exactly who they want to see victorious in what should be an epic match. Tyler simply paces around the ring like a caged tiger waiting for his chance to attack.
DING! DING! DING!As the bell sounds, Lynn, Whitner, and Draven all circle one another in the ring, waiting to see who is going to make the first move.Alecia Matthews: We’ve got a good ol’ fashioned Mexican Standoff here. Daniel Knight: Good thing we’re in Texas. ICE, where you at homies? Alecia Matthews: Shut up. Really. As the standoff continues, the eyes of Draven and Whitner turn towards the champion, who sighs, looks down knowing what’s coming, and makes the first move by driving into the two with a flurry of fists and elbows. Alecia Matthews: Not necessarily the move I would have made, but a smart choice nonetheless. He’s the champion. He’s the primary target for his challengers. Take the fight to them before they can bring it to him.Continual bashing of Draven and Whitner occurs until Draven strikes with a stiff elbow to the side of Lynn’s temple, taking him down to a knee. The pack mentality kicks in instinctively, Draven and Whitner stomping away at the International Champion even after he’s become one with the canvass. Draven runs the ropes and delivers a jumping elbow drop into the kidney area of the champion. Not to be outdone, Ante follows up Draven’s attack with one of his own, another jumping elbow drop but this time more to the spine. Draven runs he ropes again, hops up, and drives both of his knees into Lynn. Once more, not to be outdone, Ante copies the move to a T. This time, however, when Ante springs to his feet, he’s met with a stiff hook by Tyler Draven. Alecia Matthews: Well…there goes that team.Draven lifts Ante up straight by his chin and delivers another blow to the jaw of the former Golden Opportunity winner.
Ante is staggered, but before he can get his bearings, he is clotheslined by the ropes, up and over to the floor below. Draven, content with his work on Ante, turns to look at Lynn and sees he’s still down. He smirks, rolling out of the ring and grabbing one of the set up ladders on the outside, folding it, and sliding it into the ring.Daniel Knight: This might be one of the quickest championship bouts in WFWF history if he pulls this off! Alecia Matthews: Draven is the king of the mindgame. He had a plan coming into this match, and so far it has been incredibly successful. Draven sets up the ladder underneath the championship and begins his ascent to glory. He is a few rungs shy of the title when Lynn comes to and starts making the slow climb up to the roar of the crowd. Now panicking, Draven tries to get higher on the ladder and within reach of the title, but the rungs get smaller as he climbs, making each panicked step even more perilous than the last.
Before he can reach one of the final rungs, he reaches his hand up and barely touches the gold as Lynn gets a few rungs below him and starts pounding away at Draven’s sides as hard as he can. Draven begins to lose his footing and BAM!
Lynn climbs one more rung and knocks Draven out cold, and off of the ladder to the ropes, then the canvas. However, momentum wasn’t on his side either as gravity causes the now unbalanced ladder to topple over, Lynn catching his upper body on the top rope and bouncing backwards into the turnbuckle.Alecia Matthews: Lynn just saved his championship by risking life and limb. Daniel Knight: Did he though? On the outside, Ante has finally come to his senses and slid two ladders into the ring. One for climbing purposes, and the other for…less convenient purposes as he places the ladder ends on either side of the ring apron, and the barricade. Ante rolls into the ring and sets up the ladder dead center. But before he can begin his ascent, Lynn takes the ladder he fell off of that’s leaning against the ropes and uses centripetal force to will his body to rock the ladder back and forth onto the ropes until it springs and falls onto Ante’s head, sending him down to the mat. Daniel Knight: That’s one way to use another. Clearly irritated by the double team earlier, Lynn uses his strength to pull Ante to the ropes, and through the ropes, onto the ladder Ante set up earlier. Alecia Matthews: I feel like this is going to end in a bad way.Lynn exits the ring, climbs the corner, and brings the first ladder with him. He climbs the opposite side of the ladder, feet not quite firm on the rungs. Maybe it’s nerves, but the whole arena knows what his plan is and is gearing up in anticipation.Daniel Knight: I guess he doesn’t want that title after all. Alecia Matthews: Or he’s getting payback for the Golden Opportunity match which was stolen from him. Daniel Knight: Either way, this ends badly for both of them and Tyler, if he ever comes back to life, has an easy path to the gold.As if on cue, Draven has gotten himself up and instead of climbing the ladder in the center of the ring, he climbs Lynn’s ladder, the correct way.Daniel Knight: What do I know about anything anymore, anyways? Lynn tries to back down off of his rungs, but Draven wasn’t having any of it. He grabs Lynn’s arm and pulls him up, rung by ring, with force. When they reach the top, Draven smacks Lynn’s head off of the top of the ladder over and over again until he’s pretty sure he’s at SuperBrawl XI. That’s when Draven gets a look in his eye. He sees the easy option, and the hard option. Never one to give up on doling out extra punishment, it would appear Draven executed plan B in his head, hooking Lynn’s arm behind his own head and climbing up one more rung…but he’s not directing the impact to the ring. No. He has other plans. There’s a ladder with a body on it waiting for another body to go through it. Daniel Knight: Ok Draven, you’ve made your point. Isn’t this a bit…extra? Alecia Matthews: Tyler! NOOOOOOOOOOO! Whether he could hear Alecia’s calls or not, Tyler cares not. He hoists Lynn up from his side diagonally and superplexes Lynn from the top of the ladder to the outside, Lynn crashing into Ante, the ladder Ante’s laying on breaks under the force, and blood is pouring out of the back of Draven’s head having caught one of the sharper ends of the broken ladder to the back of the head.HOLY SH*T!
HOLY SH*T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!Alecia Matthews: I agree with this crowd!Daniel Knight: I hope Tyler got a tetanus shot before this match. God knows the staples he’s gonna need are about as old as jokes about Immune. Alecia Matthews: Who?Daniel Knight: Exactly. On the outside of the ring, there is nothing but carnage. Lynn is on top of Ante. Ante is contorted under Lynn’s weight and the odd form the broken ladder has taken around his back. Draven is laying face first on the mat floor below, his hands covering the bloody gash on the back of his head (it’s not working), kicking the floor and yelling, clearly in immense pain. Daniel Knight: Uhh…can anyone even continue the fight? Alecia Matthews: At this rate, no. But there has to be a winner, so at some point, yes. Draven crawls over the broken bodies of his opponent, leaving a bloody trial over them as he moves across. He is army crawling right now, he cannot even get to his hands and knees. And yet, he persists. He keeps crawling around the corner of the ring and eventually reached the announcers table. He starts to pull himself up, bloody handprints everywhere his head isn’t leaking. He pulls himself up and onto the commentary table. And he’s now laughing. Daniel Knight: Uhh…do we need to do a wellness check on this guy? Also, are you HIV+ Draven is negative? Alecia Matthews: Oh shut up. The crowd is still in amazement at what they’d just seen. The Tunatron shows replay after replay of Draven putting Lynn through Ante through a ladder from different angles. We even get a Wyl-E-Coyote cam of it all! But the cam breaks away when the fans begin to stir. Something is happening. Ante has shoved Lynn off of him and rolls onto the floor face first, blood and a ton of welts on his back. Alecia Matthews: Yikes. Instead of crawling towards the ring though, Ante follows the red blood trail to Draven. He gets to his knees and surveys the scene. Car crash, just about. Ante finally decides to roll into the ring.Alecia Matthews: They’re both out! Ante’s gonna steal another one! Daniel Knight: Can you really steal from corpses? Alecia Matthews: Point taken.
Daniel Knight: Look at us, we're getting along now. Ante gets to his feet and looks at the ladder he so proudly set up earlier, and yet he doesn’t climb it. Instead he waves it off and hobbles over to the turnbuckle nearest the announce table. Daniel Knight: Uhh…Ante? The title is that way. The other way. The way from which you came. Alecia Matthews: Move. Ante climbs the turnbuckle. Daniel Knight: The hell are you thinking, Ante?! You can’t reach the titl… Alecia Matthews: *more forcefully* Move, Daniel. Daniel Knight: ANTE! COME ON! I know your brain is scrambled, but you’re going the wrong w… Alecia Matthews: *visceral* MOVE, DANIEL!Just as the words are coming out of her mouth, Ante takes a leap of faith off of the turnbuckle towards the announce table. Alecia shoves the oblivious Knight out of the path of carnage as Ante soars!
It was at this moment, he knew: he f*cked up.
Midair, Ante eyes his target for a landing elbow drop but Draven rolls off of the table and the deck implodes under the weight, force, and gravity of Ante’s death-defying maneuver. Draven is on the floor, grasping for air after that life or death situation, coming out alive. he’s not breathing for long though, because from behind, here is Frank Lynn wrapping his arms around the neck of Draven and locking his legs tight around Draven’s gut, locking in… Alecia Matthews: PARADISE LOST! LYNN’S USING THE SUBMISSION DRAVEN STOLE FROM TRACE DEMON! Draven is flailing about, tapping out at every possible turn, but its no use.
Daniel Knight: That’s not how this match works, buddy. The tighter Lynn synches it in, the more blood that pours from the back of Draven’s head.Daniel Knight: I hope Lynn knows this isn’t how this match works, either. Alecia Matthews: Draven might not even make it out of here alive if he keeps losing this much blood from his head.Daniel Knight: Ehh. Devil looking bad guys are a dime a dozen, we can always find a new bum off the street. What’s Samael been up to since last SuperBrawl? I’m sure he’d like a check.Lynn eventually lets go of the hold, only this time to look for toys under the ring. Hello, steel chair. Daniel Knight: THIS ISN’T A TLC MATCH, FRANK.Alecia Matthews: At this point, I don’t think he cares. It’s about survival. Daniel Knight: He’s already survived! Just get into the damn ring and climb the damn ladder and take the damn belt and get the f*ck out. Not that difficult. Lynn picks Ante out of the mess that was once a commentary table. Alecia Matthews: I don’t think he can. I think this is too personal to separate logic from emotion. After getting robbed in a tag team title match against Drakz and Josh Dean, then getting robbed at SuperBrawl last go around by Ante…Lynn wants revenge more than the title. At least, that’s the look in his eye.Once Ante is steady, Lynn backs up and tosses the chair at Ante, who catches it right by his face. Alecia Matthews: VAN TERMINATOR INCOMING! Frank whips around and goes to kick the chair but overshoots a ducking Ante Whitner. Ante, in turn, tosses the chair at Lynn, spins, and catches him right on the bridge of the nose. Daniel Knight: ANTERMINATOR! Alecia Matthews: How long did it take you to come up with that one? Daniel Knight: I keep a book of quips on hand at all times. Alecia Matthews: You WOULD be the one who would do that.
Daniel Knight: You know you love me. The camera pans on Lynn’s face. He’s awake and alert, but not all of the lights are home. There’s some blood dripping from his nose, clearly broken. Ante hops up onto the apron and just sits there. His breathing is labored, but he’s clearly enjoying the sight he is seeing with both Draven and Lynn down and bloodied. He admires the handiwork of all involved parties, smiling.
But then he notices something less than pleasant.
Draven is moving.Alecia Matthews: Ante, if you want that belt, now would be a damn good time to hustle, boy. Ante lay flat on the apron for a moment then rolls into the ring. The one ladder used for the superplex is still in its place, but the other one that he placed under the belt is still there. Ante crawls slowly to the ladder and begins puts his hands on the first rung. Daniel Knight: No way! Not after a match like he’s been through. No way he can make it up the ladder with that back. Second hand on the second rung. Daniel Knight: Unless he uses the ladder to pull himself up, I don’t even see how he can be upright, let alone climb considering he’s been put through a table. Put through a ladder. Had another person put through him through a ladder. He can’t win this. First hand to the third rung, pulling himself to one knee. Daniel Knight: This…this isn’t possible. Tell me I’m losing my mind. Alecia Matthews: You did a long time ago, Danny boy. But bear witness to what you’re seeing right now. I don’t like it, but the fight is still in him. I can respect that. Second hand on the fourth rung. Ante is now on his feet, leaning against the ladder for any kind of support. Daniel Knight: See? He can’t. Alecia Matthews: Well he’s the only one standing. Ante puts a hand on the fifth rung and very, very gingerly puts a foot on the second rung, screaming in pain at every movement. One more step, one more agonizing shrill from Ante. Alecia Matthews: Kid has desire, I’ll give him that much. Another hand, another foot, another rung, another scream. …but he’s not alone. Draven has made his bloody way into the ring and begins climbing the ladder at a much more brisk pace.Daniel Knight: Zoinks! HOW?! Alecia Matthews: Draven is clearly woosy after that cut and choke, but his lower body has only felt the pain of the shock when his rear hit the outside after the superplex, and the initial fall off of the ladder at the beginning of the match. His head is a bloody mess. Literally. But his body is in better shape than the rest. Draven catches up to Ante quickly, and soon both are at the top of the ladder, the belt within their reach. It all comes down to this. Ante delivers a blow to the side of Draven’s head. Draven reciprocates. Another shot from Ante. Another shot from Draven. The crowd is going mad at this exchange! Alecia Matthews: THIS IS IT! FIRST TO FALL LOSES!Ante delivers a huge slug to the side of Draven’s bloody head, which knocks him down a step. He reaches up and grabs hold of the snap side of the WFWF International Championship! But before he can undo the buckle, Draven is back and has his hand on the other end of the title! Both Ante and Draven begin hammering away at one another with their free hand respectively over and over again until both go for a headbutt at the same time, clonking noggins. Both lose their balance, but the WFWF International Championship comes unhooked! That last impact shot, the headbutt, causes the ladder keeping the two upright to fall down and collapse on the mat. Daniel Knight: WHAT THE HELL?! Alecia Matthews: I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE! BOTH MEN! Indeed, both men. Draven and Ante are holding onto the unstrapped WFWF International Championship still hooked around the holder for dear life! They are LITERALLY each holding onto one end of the belt, dangling in midair! Alecia Matthews: THIS IS IT! FIRST TO LOSE THEIR GRIP LOSES! IT’S ALL OVER! Draven and Ante aren’t even kicking at one another at this point. Both are flailing around with no footing 20 feet in the air, only held up by the leather strap, unhooked, still around the holder! No one can afford the drop now! Daniel Knight: WHAT?!The crowd, already roaring at this epic conclusion to the match, is seeing something even more insane happening. Frank Lynn has risen from the floor below, climbed the turnbuckle from the apron, and climbed all the way to the very tip top of the ladder used mere minutes ago to put him through Whitner. He’s balancing atop as best he can!Alecia Matthews: FRANK! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! IT’S OVER!Frank takes a step down the other side of the ladder very, very carefully, holding the top for support for what it’s worth. He then points both his hands at Draven and Ante, using a pistol finger hand motion at them. Alecia Matthews: No way. NO WAY! FRANK DON’T!
Frank lowers his arms and uses all of the leg power he can muster from that top rung and leaps off of the ladder, spearing both Draven and Whitner! Both of them lose grip of the title as it falls down to the ground. And so do they, Lynn splattering the two of them across the canvass. He, himself, also splattered.
DING! DING! DING! Alecia Matthews: Uhh…Daniel Knight: …what? Christa Adina: Here is your winner, and STILL WFWF INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION, FRRRRRRAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNK LLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYNNNNNNNNNNNN! Alecia Matthews: WHAT?! Daniel Knight: HOW?! The referee from the outside who was never mentioned until now because he is an unimportant employee rolls into the ring and calls for the camera, pointing down at the human car crash in front of everyone.
…and there it was. Frank Lynn’s fingers landed on top of the title plate during the spear collapse, while the hands of Draven and Whitner are mere inches away from either side of the leather strap. The crowd loses their minds, and rightfully so. Alecia Matthews: In all my years…I’ve seen multiple Scars and Stripes winners. I’ve seen dueling champions. I’ve seen cash ins. I have NEVER seen a match end like this. Daniel Knight: LYNN WASN’T EVEN PART OF THE FINAL TWO ON THE LADDER! I WANT A REMATCH! Alecia Matthews: The rules of the match are whoever is in possession of the championship belt at the time the end match bell rings is the winner, and champion. And while it is certainly a stretch, I’ll give you that…Frank was the only one touching the belt when the bell rang. That makes Frank Lynn champ. Daniel Knight: HE! STOLE! IT! Alecia Matthews: Nope. he got lucky. Very, very lucky.

Following the triple threat match, we go backstage to see WFWF officials and EMTs rush towards the ambulance, parked near the back exit with a bloodied carcass on a stretcher.
That carcass used to be Mesh.
Jenny Broom has been frantically trying to find them as she chases after the stretcher upon seeing it.
Jenny Broom: Is she okay? They run right past her, which only makes Jenny even more upset. Jenny Broom: Don’t ignore me! Please tell me she’s okay! Same treatment as before. The backdoor of the ambulance is opened from the inside and the small group of officials stop. Jenny Broom: Can anyone tell me if she’s okay!? EMT: Miss, can you please step back? Jenny Broom: No! I want to know if Mesh is okay! Jenny tries shoving her way into the ambulance, but she’s kept back as far as possible. She screams and shouts, demanding to be with her idol until – Billy Broom: Jenny! The janitor grabs his daughter and pulls her away, his daughter screaming and crying. Billy Broom: Jenny! Please calm down! Jenny Broom: No! I want to know if Mesh is okay. I’m….scared. Billy hugs his daughter. Tight. Billy Broom: It’s okay, baby. Mesh is going to be okay, she’s tough – you know that. Jenny Broom: There’s so much blood though… She tries turning her head to look at the mangled body of her idol, but Billy shields her eyes. Jenny Broom: I’m going with her. Billy Broom: Where? Jenny Broom: The hospital. Billy looks at his daughter. Billy Broom: No, you’re not. You’d just be in the way; you should let the pros do their job. We can go together if you’d like. Jenny Broom: No! I want to go by myself. Jenny tries to free herself from her father’s grip, but he refuses to let her go.Jenny Broom: Dad! Let me go! Please! Billy Broom: Jenny! No! The young fan slips through her father’s fingers and starts to make her way towards the ambulance, but her father goes after her. Billy Broom: Jenny, please! Listen to your father! Jenny Broom: NO! You’re the reason Mesh got hurt because you didn’t help her! Those words hit Billy right in the chest. He’s stunned. Jenny Broom: I’m not a little girl anymore, Dad. Please – just…let me be with Mesh right now. Billy doesn’t move. His daughter calmly walks over to the ambulance and tries to get in the back, next to the stretcher but the officials refuse to let her on. EMT: Sir, she can’t come with us without your permission. Billy looks up and just nods, the officials then guide Jenny behind the ambulance amidst the chaos.
Looking defeated, Billy takes his camo shirt off before walking away as the wailing siren of the ambulance echoes into the city.
Walking towards him is Lila Sleater but the janitor just walks past her, not acknowledging his boss.
She looks concerned as well, having seen and heard the scene with the Brooms. Sleater then pulls out her cellphone and hits a few buttons. Lila Sleater: Yeah, I need you to call a cleaning company. Sleater looks off into the distance- Lila Sleater: Our janitor has left the building. Back at ringside, Daniel Knight smiles.
Alecia Matthews: How could you do that to Mesh?
Daniel Knight: I didn't attack her, that was Needles. Alecia Matthews: You were involved though.... Daniel Knight: I planned it, sure but I laid no hands on Mesh...well, aside from her blood on my face. Alecia Matthews: I hate you. Daniel Knight: Can we please stop talking about Mesh? We just saw a screwjob if I ever saw one! Alecia Matthews: Frank didn't screw anyone! He won the match, fair and square. The International Championship literally slipped through the fingers of Tyler Draven and Ante Whitner. Daniel Knight: I think it's safe to say that the issues between Draven, Whitner and Lynn are far from over! That was bull! Alecia Matthews: It wasn't bull at all. It's called getting by the skin of your teeth. Frank is certainly a fighting champion and he's certainly a very proud champion but tonight was too close. Daniel Knight: Anyway, I'm bored now. Let's get to why everyone is really here: the main event! Alecia Matthews: Way to discredit three guys almost dying to entertain you.Daniel Knight: Hey - they chose to be wrestlers. There's tons of other jobs that aren't as dangerous but they don't pay as well. Alecia Matthews: I miss the you that was here for eight months. I don't like this....new Daniel Knight. Daniel Knight: This isn't the "new" Daniel Knight, it's me baby. It's who I've always been and who I'll always be! Alecia Matthews: Don't call me baby. Daniel Knight: Madison Avenue? Alecia Matthews: For fu- Daniel Knight: Please, just say it! We're on pay-per-view, you won't get in trouble! Alecia Matthews: Screw off. Let's just call this historic main event. Daniel Knight: You're no fun. The lights go out. A spotlight shines down on a stage no one noticed until this moment. The band Faith No More has taken up on this new stage no one noticed. Then “Epic” begins to play. The first chords echo throughout the arena. Can you feel it, see it, hear it today?
If you can't, then it doesn't matter anyway
You will never understand it, cause it happens too fast
And it feels so good, it's like walking on glass
It's so cool, it's so hip, it's alright
It's so groovy, it's outta sight
You can touch it, smell it, taste it, so sweet
But it makes no difference cause it knocks you off your feetA second spotlight appears on the entrance way and Michael Kyzer appears to the roar of the crowd. ‘Kyzer’ chants begin. You want it all, but you can't have it Kyzer soaks it in. It's cryin', bleedin', lyin' on the floor
So you lay down on it and you do it some more
You've got to share it, so you dare it
Then you bare it and you tear itHe walks to the ring with the crowd behind him for the first time ever. You want it all, but you can't have it (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
It's in your face but you can't grab it (Yeah, yeah, yeah) No one is more ready than this man. It's alive, afraid, a lie, a sin
It's magic, it's tragic, it's a loss, it's a win
It's dark, it's moist, it's a bitter pain
It's sad, it happened, and it's a shame He slowly climbs the ring steps. He pauses at the top to soak in the crowd that is fully behind him.You want it all, but you can't have it (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
It's in your face but you can't grab it (Yeah, yeah, yeah) What is it? It's it!
What is it? It's it!
What is it? It's it!
What is it? It's it! Kyzer is ready, mother f~cker.
Alecia Matthews: You can feel the tension. You can feel the electricity. Seven years in the making and it ends tonight! Kyzer stands in the ring. Focused. Ready.
The lights go down and an unfamiliar piece of music begins to play.
A solemn and audibly despondent woman begins to sing over the simple guitar riff in Russian. Much to the confusion of the crowd in attendance.
The screen on the stage shows a series of images, each featuring Drakz and Kyzer, each from many years ago. We move through this slideshow until the final photo. Taken from a never before seen side-on angle, with Drakz on the concrete, surrounded by ringside officials and medical staff, and Michael Kyzer still standing up on the stage, looking down at the man who's back he has just broken.
The guitar fades away on this image before the sold out crowd is shocked back into life by the opening white noise crescendo of "MK7", coupled with the tell tale signs of the coming of the champion. The lights around the arena flash white. Spot lights circle overhead. The tension splits and the chugging riff hits the PA as the entire stage backdrop goes a blinding white as well. A silhouette makes its way out onto centre stage, dragging a prestigious championship belt behind it.
The stage flickering stops and the spots land on the champion, Drakz now revealed to those in attendance and the world watching at home, perhaps for the final time.
He is hit with more boos and jeers than he's ever heard in his entire career up to this point. He just looks on. No smile. No laughing and joking as we've come to expect.
He just looks out at the crowd, turning his head to see every last inch of them, before starting his walk to the ring. The camera moves in close enough to hear him say: хуёвоThe same word heard in the Russian song played only a moment previously. His sights now find themselves set on the man in the ring, who does nothing but stare right back and pace around. Drakz approaches the ring steps, climbs them and then motions to the referee to keep Kyzer back as he enters. Kyzer doesn't need telling, he backs up, giving Drakz plenty of room. Drakz climbs the turnbuckle from the apron and holds the title up above his head with one hand only to then move his arm out and open his hand, dropping the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship down to the ground outside the ring from a height.
He now climbs down and steps through the ropes before making a run, seemingly at Michael Kyzer, but he diverts last minute and simply runs the ropes. He then stops running and starts stretching out, continually on the referee's case if he feels Kyzer is getting too close, which in his mind is anywhere outside of tight in the opposite corner.
Another ringside official has scooped up the championship belt and hands it through the ropes to the referee as Christa Adina takes the ring with a mic. Christa Adina: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your main event of the evening! The crowd pops hard of course. Christa Adina: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship. Perhaps more importantly though, the loser of this match will retire from the WFWF immediately. Cheers, but not as many. Then a weird thoughtful quiet. Christa Adina: Introducing first, the challenger. The crowd cheer. That's right. The crowd actually cheer for Michael Kyzer.
Christa Adina: Fighting out of Seattle, Washington. He is a former 2 time heavyweight champion and weighs in tonight at 218 lbs. He is Your Stoned Messiah, Michaaaaael Kyzeeeeeer! The crowd continue to cheer. Fully behind the former villain. He doesn't get it. Christa Adina: And his opponent. Weighing in tonight at 226 lbs. He resides in Chicago, Illinois.... Drakz shakes his head and Christa falters a second. Christa Adina: ....and is the current, reigning, defending and 5 time WFWF Heavyweight Champion of the Wooooorld! The Streak Destroyer Destroyer Destroyer, The "God" Slayer, Draaaaaaaaakz! If they could, the fans would throw all of their garbage in the ring right away, but they want to see Drakz get his f*cking head stoved in first. Instead they rain down with a deafening chorus of boos and it's only now that Drakz cracks a smile. He points to himself and shouts across the ring to Michael. Drakz: All for me! Aaaall about me. DING! DING! DING!The bell rings, breaking down any remaining barriers between the two men that would have otherwise kept them from tearing one another limb from limb. Even as the sound of the bell signals the start of the match, neither man moves from his respective corner. Their eyes remain locked on one another, neither Kyzer nor even the typically antagonistic Drakz making a move to bask in the palpable tension emanating off of the record shattering crowd. The roar of the sold out stadium is deafening, and even the purest of fans in the crowd are rabidly calling for blood as upwards of one hundred thousand screaming fans wait for the first volley to fire in the long awaited confrontation years in the making. Alecia Matthews: Will you listen to this crowd?! Daniel Knight: You’ve got to wonder if any of this is even resonating with either of these men! Look at their eyes! Have you ever seen a more stoic display of presence before a crowd this unhinged?! Slowly, at the beckoning of the ring official, the former thick-as-thieves allies take marked, calculated steps toward one another, neither man stepping forward enough to place too much distance between himself and his corner. Their stare never breaks - it’s a stare filled with contempt, hatred, and malignant ill-will. Never before has a WFWF crowd seen two men as hell bent on destroying one another as Kyzer and Drakz, and the seething heat rising between them is radiant. Each step is taken deliberately, the intent of either man clearly being to close the gap between them whilst remaining soundly aware of what every lost inch of distance between them brings them closer toward. As the two men slowly come closer and closer to a full blown staredown, the capacity crowd becomes more and more unglued, their collective roars threatening to bring down the dome arching above the massive stadium. Alecia Matthews: Are you putting in ear plugs? Daniel Knight: All the sound cancelling headphones in the world aren’t going to save us when one of these guys finally hits the other… Almost as if to test the waters, Drakz breaks stride without defying pace, strafing to the left, not allowing his stare to break from Kyzer’s for even a second. In turn, Kyzer steps to the right, maintaining the divide between the two men, shifting not but the angle as they continue to inch toward each other. The approach of either man is almost coordinated, as if it had been practiced for weeks and months in advance. It could be perceived almost like a dance, if not for the venomous look of vitriol across either man’s face. Alecia Matthews: If you’ve ever been at a loss describing the psychological aspect of this sport, jam the record button now and put this one on the back burner for future use. No two opponents know each other quite like these men. This is going to be absolute war for the upper hand! At long last, the gap between the two foes comes to a close, as both men now stand eye to eye. It’s a perfect match - their shared, equitable heights leaves neither man at the disadvantage of stature. Neither man looks down upon the other. It’s the stuff that promotional graphics are made of - eye to eye, nose to nose - the perfect example of two equally matched competitors, face to face in a scenario where only one man can emerge victorious.
Daniel Knight: Should we duck and cover? I don’t know if this place is capable of withstanding what’s about to go down here. Now in immediate proximity to one another, the words start flying. Unlike the requisite trash talk, typical of such face to face confrontations in the business, their muted dialogue is calm, reserved, and almost casual - at least to the eye. The thunderous ovations emanating from the capacity crowd drown out any hope of even the ringside camera mics picking up any context as to what’s being spoken between the two men with perhaps the deepest history in the WFWF. If not for the white hot contempt that has grown between the two pillars of The New Epoch in recent years, one almost might expect the two to come to a conclusive resolution, leaving the gathered masses effectively blue-balled as they depart having come to a mutual agreement in the way they converse.Alecia Matthews: What do you think they’re saying? Daniel Knight: I shudder to even consider the possibilities. I’m sure both of their mothers are lovely people. Alecia Matthews: I’m sure that’s just the tip of this conversational iceberg. As they continue to converse, the conversation becomes evidently more heated, at least on the part of Drakz, who appears to begin elevating his words, perhaps either out of rising contempt for the man before him, or simply to be heard over the still rising, deafening din of the Dallas crowd. Kyzer, for whatever venom resides within him, appears to remain calm, almost numb, which would not be too far removed from the realm of probability, given his haphazard reputation for living his life. He seems resigned to now allow Drakz to talk at him, which only seems to infuriate his former best friend, who is now clearly shouting Kyzer down, perhaps all the while gearing himself up for what is yet to come. Aggravating the situation further, Kyzer finally draws his attention away from the fuming pillar of hatred before him, remaining stoically in place, but now turning his neck to survey the hundred thousand some odd, blood thirsty WFWF fans screaming themselves hoarse, each hoping to individually be able to claim some sort of credit for the first blow to land in this long anticipated clash of two reprehensible titans. Alecia Matthews: As knock down, drag out as I’m sure this is bound to become, it’s hard to grasp the immense psychological weight that resides between these two...WAIT…. The crowd roars as Drakz grasps Kyzer by the chin, realigning the figurehead of The New Epoch’s focus upon his person. The withdrawn, almost disinterested gaze that had defined Kyzer’s face prior is suddenly, as if prompted solely by the singeing sting of Drakz’s touch, washed away by a look of rage, hatred, and psychosis. A look of shock is hardly able to register across the face of Drakz before he his sent hurtling to the mat by a stiff, concentrated right hook, packing all the weight of an errant, out of control vehicle as it collides with the Brit’s rigid jaw.Daniel Knight: Have you ever heard such a reaction over a mere punch?! Alecia Matthews: Never! We’ve seen these two exert concentrated efforts to murder one another, but that right there? That was a punch nearly twelve years in the making!!! As Drakz scrambles to recoup from the unexpected leveling of his person, Kyzer bounds in upon him, threatening to seize the upper hand he’s just forcefully taken. Trapped between a man who wants nothing more than to remove him from the face of the earth and the confines of the ring ropes, Drakz improvises. Hellbent upon his own decisive victory, he lunges forward, rather than backward, toward safety, grasping Kyzer behind the knees and double legging him down to the mat. Leaping over his fallen prey, Drakz comes unglued, resting upon the Stoned Messiah’s chest and laying into his face with a repetitive onslaught of fists and elbows. Kyzer is quick to match his opponent’s fury, rolling Drakz off of him and following through so that it is now he that has the upper hand. He returns the assault, laying into Drakz with a fury of punches and elbows that are more timed and more calculated than what Drakz had just unleashed.Alecia Matthews: Already, we’re seeing a bit of the dichotomy between these two men. Drakz may throw everything he's got at Kyzer in an effort to maintain his grip on the WFWF Championship, but Kyzer is here to make every last beat count. As Kyzer continues his assault, his eyes grow wide with each passing strike, and he appears almost mesmerized, losing himself in his efforts to beat whatever humanity may be left inside Drakz out of him. Grasping Drakz by the hair to both raise his head and clear a path through the arms being raised to try and deflect his blows, Kyzer resorts to exclusively elbows now, driving the thinly veiled bone of his upper appendages square into Drakz’s head over and over and over again. Before long, a trickle of bright crimson begins coursing down the features of Drakz’s face.Daniel Knight: Already?! Alecia Matthews: I mean, these two are out for blood… Daniel Knight: Yes, let’s do make jokes. Alecia Matthews: ….I...I wasn’t joking… Smearing the blood with each subsequent strike, Kyzer lays a few more elbows into Drakz’s skull for good measure, then finally withdraws, crawling off of his bloodied opponent, rising to his feet, and taking a brief reprieve amid the roar of the bloodthirsty crowd. Closing his eyes as he turns away from Drakz, he basks, almost as if there isn’t a sound in the room, in the moment, before his eyes snap wide open. Turning back to Drakz, who ambles to bring himself upright, he begins shouting the man down, imploring him to rise, imploring him to fight. Drakz isn’t too slow to his feet, having weathered much worse than a slight cut above the eye in his long and storied career. Wiping the stream of blood from his eyes, he defiantly steps toward Kyzer, turning on a heel and returning the prior favors with a spinning back elbow that collides with the side of Kyzer’s head, catching him square in the ear. Kyzer hasn’t long to recoil, as the moment he’s able to turn his diverted attention back toward his opponent, he’s met beneath the chin with a European uppercut that sends him reeling.
Daniel Knight: Is this a wrestling match, or an MMA competition? Alecia Matthews: It’s a fight, Daniel. Try and not kid yourself. Landing in the ropes, Kyzer steadies himself, but only catches a moment to breathe before Drakz unleashes a flurry of palm and forearm strikes up and down his torso. Having equivocally weathered his opponent down to his degree of fatigue, Drakz turns his back, smirking only momentarily before his face washes back over with contempt. Careening back around, he lays an arm across Kyzer, sending him barrelling over the top rope and down to the stadium floor with a picturesque lariat. Kyzer stumbles to the ground, but is quick to right himself, as the two men re-engage their staredown. Drakz cackles, having afforded himself the upper hand as the lone occupant of the ring, spreading his arms wide as he basks in a sea of boos emanating from the crowd.
Alecia Matthews: It’s a bit early to be taunting Kyzer, I think. Daniel Knight: May as well. We’ve already gone outside the ring. We’ve already drawn blood. Perhaps Phillip Schneider is around with some gusset plates to offer? Alecia Matthews: Don’t you even… Drakz’s irreverent celebration, however, is cut short, as Kyzer slides back into the ring, seizing upon his opponent’s upwardly prone position and begins laying into the midsection of Drakz with his own onslaught of strikes. Focusing heavily on Drakz’s ribs, Kyzer uses the force of his strikes to steer the expanse between them, forcing Drakz back first into a neutral corner, continuing even as the official begins the count of five to initiate the break of the ropes. Backing off just before the official can reach the count of five, Kyzer clears space between them, waiting only until Drakz is able to just have righted himself from the support of the corner. Kicking Drakz square in his likely bruised rib cage, he hooks the Brit’s arms as he doubles him over, hoisting his upward and back, planting him in the center of the ring with a butterfly suplex. Daniel Knight: Oh, look - wrestling! Following through with the first hold of the match, Kyzer covers Drakz for an early, at least in relative terms, pin attempt…
1! ...but Drakz isn’t going down that easily, throwing a shoulder for an easy escape. Kyzer, naturally, is first to his feet, but Drakz still has steam left to burn, and he quickly rolls out the line of fire of an attempted stomp intended to keep him prone from Kyzer. Alecia Matthews: Damn close for the champ, those stomps have venom behind them. Drakz rolls away from Kyzer and tries to get back to his feet but Kyzer is not letting up. He charges in a drives his knee into Drakz’ face. Drakz’ head snaps back violently, whiplash dazing him and possibly damaging his neck. Kyzer follows up with more stomps to the chest and abdomen driving Drakz back into the corner of the ring where he ends up slumped against the bottom turnbuckle.
Kyzer reaches down and grabs Drakz by his hair, lifting him up to standing position that Drakz can only maintain by leaning against the ropes. With a cold heartless look on his face befitting a Terminator on the hunt, Kyzer batters Drakz’ chest with a series of chops that leave bright red welts behind. Daniel Knight: At what point is this too much? Kyzer steps back to admire his handiwork, blood dripping down Drakz’ face and chest to accent the welts on his chest from all the chops. A smile flashes across his face for just a second before he resumes his work, grabbing Drakz’ wrist and attempting to whip him across the ring.
Drakz shows some of that indomitable will of his, that refusal to go quietly into the night, and stops dead in his tracks, reversing the move and whipping Kyzer across the ring to hit the corner turnbuckles with a resounding thud. Before the ring ropes can stop vibrating from the impact, Drakz charges and drives his shoulder hard into Kyzer’s stomach. He grabs the ropes on either side of Kyzer and repeats the shoulder thrust several times, each one forcing all the air out of Kyzer’s lungs.
Drakz switches it up, slapping Kyzer in the ultimate show of disrespect, then raining elbow strikes to Kyzer’s face. It doesn’t take long before he has returned the favor that Kyzer did to him earlier in the match, busting Kyzer open above his eye. Alecia Matthews: And now they’re both bloodied to hell. It’s obvious Drakz is enjoying making Kyzer suffer, his face so much more animated than the almost machine like Kyzer. He has an evil smirk as he grabs the top rope for balance and jams his foot under Kyzer’s chin, putting all his body weight behind the leg as he chokes Kyzer.
The referee has seen enough. He has given the two men some leeway in the fight but he can’t let this slide. He steps in and warns Drakz to break the hold, starting a five count. Ever the wily veteran, Drakz make full use of the count, not removing his foot from Kyzer’s throat until the last possible instant. Daniel Knight: About damn time the ref steps in. The referee forces Drakz to give Kyzer some space so he can get out of the corner but Drakz pushes him aside, grabs Kyzer, whips him into the ropes, and drops him to the mat with a spine buster.
Drakz is quickly back to his feet. With a flourish befitting the greatest champion in WFWF history, he drops his knee across Kyzer’s forehead. Not satisfied with the effect of the blow, he pulls his knee pad down to his shin and then drops another even harder knee to Kyzer’s head. Kyzer’s body convulses on the mat like a fish out of water.
Drakz is smiling even more now that he has the upper hand; a cold sadistic smile that strikes fear in many a WFWF wrestler. He climbs onto the second rope and jumps up for even more elevation and force behind a third knee strike to Kyzer’s head.
Alecia Matthews: And you see no issues with this? Only Kyzer deserves this punishment? Kyzer lays motionless, possibly ripe for a pin attempt but that’s not what Drakz wants. He takes a moment to pull his knee pad back into place, then turns his attention to Kyzer’s legs. He flips Kyzer onto his back and ties him up in a Texas Cloverleaf.
Kyzer’s face contorts in pain as Drakz leans back and twists, putting pressure on both the legs and lower back. Tense moments pass as Kyzer struggles against the submission hold. The referee keeps a close eye on Kyzer checking to see if he taps, asking him if he wants to quit, looking for any sign to end the match before someone gets seriously hurt.
Of course, Kyzer neither taps nor quits. There is too much at stake in the match. This fight is far from over. No matter how much Drakz tries to snap either his legs or back, Kyzer grits his teeth and keeps fighting, slowly dragging himself inch by inch toward the ropes.
Sensing that Kyzer won’t be giving up, Drakz suddenly jumps up and slams Kyzer’s knees into the mat, switching to an ankle lock and bending Kyzer’s foot in ways no foot was meant to bend. Alecia Matthews: How much malice is Drakz capable of? Jesus. Daniel Knight: After years of walking alongside Kyzer, Drakz is making sure only one of them continues along the path. Him. Kyzer twists his body around until he is on his back, the kicks out with his free leg. The first kick catches Drakz in the stomach causing him to doubt over. The second kick catches Drakz square in the jaw. The third kick hits Drakz in the chest and knocks him backwards, breaking the ankle lock.
Kyzer takes advantage of the separation between the two to stagger to his feet, his ankle in obvious pain as he limps towards Drakz. Despite the pain and effort required, Kyzer keep moving towards Drakz determined to take the fight to the World Champion. Drakz stands tall and waits for Kyzer to get close, the ever present smirk still on his face as he sees his opponent struggling to just walk.
Kyzer gets within striking distance and throws a punch that Drakz dodges, then counters with a slap to Kyzer’s face before dancing out of reach again. Kyzer keeps on stalking Drakz, once again getting close enough to attempt a kick to the leg. Drakz swats Kyzer’s leg away, slaps Kyzer, and dances away again.
The game of cat and mouse continues as every time Kyzer gets close enough, Drakz avoids his punches or kicks, counters with a slap, and moves away. In this way, they make several circuits of the ring as Drakz won’t allow Kyzer to trap him against the ropes.
Kyzer gets frustrated and yells at Drakz “Fight me you f***ing c*nt!” Alecia Matthews: Well, at least this is PPV and we don’t have to worry about the FCC fines. Daniel Knight: That's what I've been telling you. Drakz look sat Kyzer credulously, then the smirk returns to his face and he replies “Be careful what you ask for!”
Kyzer gets in close and attempts a spinning back elbow but Drakz ducks under, grabs Kyzer around the waist, and flips him into the air with a german suplex.
Drakz kips up and goes to stomp Kyzer’s head. Kyzer gets his hands up and catches Drakz’ foot before it can connect with deadly intentions to his face. everyone is on the edge of their seats as Kyzer struggles to keep Drakz’ foot from descending any further than the three inches it is currently above his face. Sweat mixes with the good on his face as the once emotionless expression is replaced by one of rim determination.
Daniel Knight: You wanna try that sentence again? Then Kyzer twists Drakz’ foot and the champion loses his balance, falling to the mat next to Kyzer. Kyzer slams his elbow into Drakz nose causing an immediate explosion of blood from Drakz’ proboscis and possibly breaking it in the process.
Kyzer seizes his momentary advantage to flip Drakz onto his back, then straddle him while throwing Drakz’ arms over this knees into a camel clutch. Instead of locking his hands around Drakz’ head, Kyzer digs his fingers into either side of Drakz’ mouth and pulls back with all his might. Drakz’ contorted and bloodied face is a gruesome sight.
Kyzer keeps Drakz in the hold for quite some time, clearly not going for a submission. He just wants to hurt the man so he pulls and tears at his face while putting maximum pressure on the camel clutch so that Drakz’ oft-injured back takes the most punishment. There’s little doubt, Kyzer wants to break Drakz’ back again!
Alecia Matthews: Jesus Christ! Kyzer! Enough! Daniel Knight: Maybe it’s Kyzer who will walk alone after tonight. The referee gets to his knees and leans in to check on Drakz. He reaches for one of his hands only to have Drakz flip him off. The ref gets back to his feet and backs off, shrugging at Kyzer who continues to tear at Drakz’ face.
Having softened his back up enough and fairly sure Drakz won’t be tapping out, Kyzer releases his grip on Drakz’ face. One hand grabs the hair on top of Drakz’ head and pulls his head up. Then Kyzer hits a series of cross face forearm strikes with his other arm, each blow striking across the bridge of the nose causing more blood to flow and almost definitely breaking the champion’s nose.
Kyzer then slams Drakz’ face into the mat, leaving a huge red stain on the mat. Kyzer stands up, sees that Drakz is down for the moment, and massages his ankle, trying to get some relief from the pain he endured while in the ankle lock earlier in the match. He tests the ankle, first putting all his weight on it, then hopping up and down until he is satisfied that he can work through the pain.
Kyzer moves in towards Drakz, now on his hands and knees trying to stand up. Kyzer winds up for a punt kick to Drakz head but Drakz blocks it, catches his leg, and drops him a dragon screw leg whip.
The smirk is gone from Drakz face now. He is all business as he grabs Kyzer’s head and drags him towards a corner. He slams Kyzer’s head into the turnbuckle multiple times, the anti-Drakz crowd falling into old habits and counting along.Alecia Matthews: How can the fans even go along with this anymore?! Hell, I don’t even want to be part of this. Daniel Knight: Then look away. Drakz ain’t done, and Kyzer won’t stay down. Drakz lifts the stunned Kyzer onto the top turnbuckle, then slides in underneath him and steps onto the second rope with Kyzer on his shoulders. Then he hits the Electric Chair Drop!
Drakz rolls through into a cover, hooking a leg. The ref quickly drops down for the count. The crowd boos loudly, a hundred thousand fans who want no part of yet another World Heavyweight Championship win by the arrogant Brit.
1! Alecia Matthews: COME ON KYZER! 2! Daniel Knight: It’s finally over. Kyzer kicks out! Alecia Matthews: Nope! Drakz slaps the mat once in frustration, then quickly resume this offense. He drags Kyzer to his feet so he can hit him a rapid fire series of chops and kicks that climax with a discus forearm to the head. Kyzer is rocked but manages to fight back with forearm strikes of his own. The crowd gets fired up as two of the greatest to ever step foot in a WFWF ring go toe to toe in an blistering exchange of blows.
The tide slowly turns as Kyzer seems to get a second wind from the support of the fans. Helands more blows with more power behind them and Drakz starts to back away and cover up. Kyzer is relentless and forces Drakz into the ropes with a barrage of chops. Then he whips Drakz across the ring. Drakz runs the ropes straight into a clothesline from hell by Kyzer. Drakz gets flying into the air do a full 360 flip in the air before crashing to the mat.
Kyzer grabs Drakz, lifts him up, and hits a brain buster. He goes a for cover.
1!
2!
Drakz kicks out! Alecia Matthews: DAMMIT! Kyzer wastes no time expressing any frustration. The cold hard Terminator look is back and he is hunting Drakz. He lifts him up onto his shoulders, gets a running start, and hits the Kyzer Effect! Then Kyzer goes for another cover.
1!
2!
No! Drakz got a foot on the ropes! Alecia Matthews: Has anyone kicked out of that before? Kyzer stomps away at Drakz’ arms and legs. Then he drags him to the center of the ring and sets him up for the Odium (hammerlock leg sweep DDT). Drakz knows what is coming and is ready for it. Showing the undeniable resilience that helped make him the longest reigning World Champion in WFWF history, Drakz breaks free, then lifts Kyzer up and over with a back body drop. Drakz bounces off the ropes and hits a double foot stomp to Kyzer’s chest, then he drops to a knee beside Kyzer’s prone body, grabs a hand full of hair so he can lift Kyzer’s head to the optimal position, and punches him the face repeatedly, a brutal series of haymakers that result in Kyzer going glassy eyed.Alecia Matthews: Well, Drakz has never been one fond of rules. The referee has allowed the wrestlers a bit of leeway so far in the match but the closed fist blows are too much. He steps in and grabs Drakz’ arm, stopping the assault. Drakz looks at the referee with absolute vitriol, then gets up and starts pushing him into the corner.
The referee puts his hands up defensively while warning Drakz about getting DQ’d. (Which would be a logistical nightmare because Drakz would retain the title and yet still have to retire. Somewhere backstage Lila is having a seizure.)
While Drakz bullies the referee, Kyzer manages to stand up, then dives at Draks chop blocking his leg. Drakz falls awkwardly to the mat, his leg laying up and connecting squarely with the referee’s crotch. Daniel Knight: And scene – from the Nutcracker. The ref drops to the mat clutching his family jewels. Kyzer and Drakz both get back to their feet at about the same time, but Drakz gets the jump on Kyzer, scorpion him up and hitting a running Death Valley Driver into the corner. While Kyzer slumps to the mat, Drakz sees that the referee is out of the picture so he switches his attention to the top turnbuckle pad, removing it to expose the naked hard steel underneath. Alecia Matthews: Oh my god no. Kyzer struggles to his feet using the ropes for support, his hard cold eyes fixed on Drakz. He surprises Drakz and knocks him down with a short arm clothesline, pulling Drakz back to his feet so he do it again.
Drakz counters with a stiff kick to the abdomen causing Kyzer to double over, then drives a knee into Kyzer’s face. He grabs Kyzer’s head and tries to slam it into the exposed turnbuckle.
The crowd cheers wildly as Kyzer blocks, getting both hands on the ropes and refusing to let Drakz push his head down. Then Kyzer stomps on Drakz’ foot. While not doing a lot of damage, the sheer surprise of the tactic gives Kyzer an opening as he spins around and hits a back elbow to Drakz’ temple.
Kyzer wraps his arms around Drakz and hits an exploder suplex which ends with the back of Drakz’ head hitting the exposed turnbuckle. His eyes roll up into his head and the lights go out for the champ.
Kyzer drags Drakz to the center of the ring and goes for a cover. The crowd counts.
1!
2!
3!
4!
5!
6! Daniel Knight: These idiots know their count doesn’t matter, right? Doesn’t matter how high the crowd counts, it’s the referee who has to call the pin and he is currently in the fetal position wondering if he will be able to have children. Daniel Knight: Like I said. Kyzer releases his cover and scrambles to the referee, trying to drag him over so he can make a count.
Kyzer mangoes to get the referee in position and the referee regains enough of his senses to see what is going on. Kyzer covers Drakz again. The crowd roars and counts along with the referee.
1!
2!
DRAKZ KICKS OUT! Daniel Knight: Oh thank god. At some point while Kyzer retrieved the referee, he regained consciousness and played possum until the right moment.
Kyzer can’t contain his outrage. He screams at the referee, at Drakz, at himself, at anybody within earshot. The he launches into an assault on Drakz the likes of which are rarely seen in a WFWF ring.
Kyzer becomes a vicious killer, rag dolling Drakz all over the ring with punches, kicks, chops, and more suplexes than we can count. It’s shocking the ferocity of Kyzer’s attack and how little resistance Drakz is able to muster. He is on wobbly legs, possibly suffering the effects of a concussion from his head hitting the exposed turnbuckle. Daniel Knight: Ok… now I think I’ve seen enough too. Alecia Matthews: Actually? I think I can stomach this. Kyzer doesn’t even bother trying to pin the champ. He just beats on Drakz relentlessly with an array of moves that would break a lesser man.
Minutes into Kyzer’s assault, Drakz is leaning against the ropes still trying to clear his head. Kyzer charges at him about to clothesline him over the top rope but Drakz drops down and pulls the top rope down with him. Kyzer’s own momentum carries him up and over the top rope and crashes to the floor.
Drakz finds some hidden reserve of energy and leaps over the top rope to the apron, gets a running start, and jumps off to hit Kyzer with the Meteora (flying double knee strike). Kyzer crashes into the security barriers with enough force to drive them a foot back into the front row fans. Drakz lands sprawled on top of Drakz as both men lay there trying to recover.
It doesn’t take long as they start exchanging blows mere feet in front of the crowd, sweat and blood flying off their bodies and onto the fans in the front row. (Don’t worry, all WFWF wrestlers are checked regularly for communicable diseases like Hepatitis and HIV.)
The smirk is gone from Drakz’ face. The emotionless Terminator look is gone from Kyzer’s face. The match has digressed to the point that they are just two very angry men, each one wanting to end the very existence of the man standing in front of him.
They fight their way around the outside of the ring. Drakz spears Kyzer into the barricade. Kyzer counters by power bombing Drakz onto the ring apron. Drakz whips Kyzer into the ring steps. Kyzer jumps on the barricade, then off to hit a flying back elbow.
The fans are losing their sh*t. It actually looks like with each devastating move Drakz or Kyzer takes, they get stronger instead of weaker. The violence keeps escalating as the two alpha males of the WFWF fight for dominance in front of one hundred thousand screaming lunatics.
Amazingly, while the two wrestlers are beating the hell out of each other, they both have enough awareness of the referee and his counts that one or both manages to slide into the ring long enough to break the count, then immediately slides back out to continue the fight.
Drakz and Kyzer end up in front of the announcers table, Daniel and Alecia looking on wondering how long they have before they need to abandon their position.
Not long.
Drakz slams Kyzer’s head into the table. Kyzer slams Drakz’ head into the table. Then they both slam each other’s head into the table at the same time. Both men look at each other with hate in their eyes, then simultaneously they both try to headbutt the other. Kyzer gets the worst of it which opens the door for Drakz. He drops Kyzer to the floor with a DDT.
Then Drakz finally takes a moment to catch his breath, the toll of the continuous brutal fighting showing on his exhausted face. He just barely notices the referee once again counting and rushes to slide into the ring and break the count. Then he gets in the referee’s face and warns him: “Stop counting you stupid c*nt. That’s not how this ends.”
Satisfied that he has put the proper fear of Draks into him, Drakz leaves the referee to pick his jaw off the ring and turns his attention back to Kyzer. Kyzer is leaning against the announcer’s table having “borrowed” Daniel’s bottle of water to drink some and splash himself with the rest. Drakz jumps off the ring apron but Kyzer moves with astonishing speed and catches him mid air with standing dropkick. Alecia Matthews: Move. K yzer picks Drakz up, moves close to the announcers table and choke slams Drakz onto the table. Then he climbs on top of the table and sets Drakz up for a suplex. Drakz blocks, then tries a suplex of his own. Kyzer blocks. Daniel Knight: Ah f*ck not again. For all the ebbs and flows of the match, they have come full circle. Despite all the punishment each has taken, they are once again equal. It is down to who has the greater will to win, who has the greater desire to eliminate their nemesis once and for all and be the champion.
They fight back and forth while standing on the table, throwing punches and forearms, and chops. Then Drakz tries for another suplex, actually getting Kyzer into the air but Kyzer flails his legs and fights it off until he he is safely back o his own two feet. Then he tries for a suplex. Drak fights back but Kyzer punches him in the stomach several times. Kyzer lifts Drakz up but not for a suplex.Alecia Matthews: Yep! At the apex he twists Drakz around and drops him down into the table with the Falcon Arrow!KRASH! Daniel Knight: MY DRINK IS GONE FOR GOOD NOW DAMMIT! The table disintegrates under the impact of Drakz’ body hitting with all the force Kyzer could muster. Drakz lay in the wreckage while Kyzer slowly gets up and makes his way to the ring, breaking yet another count by the referee who grew a pair and didn’t follow Drakz’ earlier orders to not count them out.
Not satisfied with the prospect of a count out, Kyzer exits the ring again and goes back to Drakz, picking him up out of what used to be the announcers table and whipping him into the ring apron. Drakz can barely muster a grunt as he flops around like a marionette whose strings have been cut.
Kyzer moves to attack Drakz again when he sees the referee counting yet again. he turns his ire on the referee. “Goddamnit @$$hole, stop f*cking counting! I’m going to beat this mother f***er by pinning his ass for the 1-2-3!Kyzer rolls into the ring once again to break the count, rolling back out to his former comrade in arms, now mortal enemy. Kyzer grabs Drakz’ arm and pulls him over to the apron, deadlifting the bloody mess on to the metal frame of the ring. Kyzer gingerly pulls himself up as well, grabbing the bloody mess of Drakz by his hair and getting him to his feet. Kyzer blasts Drakz in the upper body area up and over the ropes to the canvas.Alecia Matthews: He’s going to end this in the ring. Take the title. Leave Drakz a mess…I can’t believe I am rooting for this. Kyzer gets partway through the second rope as the toe of a boot catches him right in the bridge of the nose. Kyzer stumbles through and Drakz wraps him up in a small package!1!
2!Kyzer rolls the cradle! DRAKZ IS NOW PINNED! Daniel Knight: REVERSAL! COVER! 1!
2!Drakz kicks out of the small package reversal and falls backwards his knees. Kyzer falls in a similar motion, both men now sitting on their calves staring at the other through bloodsoaked eyes. Kyzer lowers his head, shaking it from side to side, droplets of blood flying off onto the camera lens as he falls forward onto all fours. Drakz laughs at Kyzer on his hands and knees, a blood-soaked devil’s grin, his pearly whites coming through the crimson mask.Alecia Matthews: However this match ends, that image is going to be everywhere tomorrow. Daniel Knight: Insanity….aaaand there HE goes… The iconic image is now ruined, Drakz falling sideways onto the mat just as Kyzer’s arms give out.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Kyzer and Drakz are both looking up at the referee with pleading eyes, to stop the count and let them fight, but nay a word of contest from either, nor a finger in the air to challenge. The referee shakes his head, continuing the count.
5!
6!Alecia Matthews: After all of this…a draw… Daniel Knight: That would be very disheartening…but fitting. Drakz and Kyzer both pull themselves towards the referee slow as snails.7! Alecia Matthews: What is going on? 8!Kyzer and Drakz both reach a hand up…9!Kyzer and Drakz each reach the ref at the same time, both grabbing onto an opposite pant leg and pulling him down at the knee! The ref is bewildered and the crowd is holding its collective breath.LET THEM FIGHT!
LET THEM FIGHT!
LET THEM FIGHT! Audible due to the pindrop silence after the cheer, the referee looks at both men, at Christa, and pops up to his feet swinging his arms, yelling he’s allowing the match to continue! The crowd is in an uproar of approval for the referee’s decision. Both men roll towards different ropes and very, very slowly pull themselves to their feet. After a moment, both men are on their feet, but spaghetti legged. Both stagger backwards and at the same time turn and slug the other in the jaw. They grab at the other’s hair and hammer away in a flurry of haymakers until Kyzer makes a block and drives his head into the bridge of Drakz’ nose this time!Alecia Matthews: TURNABOUT! Kyzer stomps Drakz’ foot, blasts him in the face with a forearm and hoists him up! He’s setting up for the Kyzer Effect, but Drakz uses the momentum of the pull to slide off of Kyzer’s back and lays Kyzer out flat with a somersault inverted Rolling Cold! Drakz, completely out of it, tries to cover Kyzer but Michael is face down, and Drakz doesn’t have the strength for the Channel 9. He pounds the mat over and over again. “WHY WON’T YOU JUST F*CKING DIE LIKE YOUR F*CKING SON?!” Alecia Matthews: What? Daniel Knight: What?! The crowd is collectively silent. The statement just made by Drakz has…everyone…in complete shock. And then…a cheer. And a louder cheer. AND LOUDER! Kyzer has gripped Drakz’ hair and pounded his face into the mat over and over and over again, breaking any bones left unbroken in Drakz’ head. What Drakz said flipped a switch in Kyzer, as the God of F*ck gets to his feet and stomps the back of Drakz’ head over and over again, clearly hoping to crack the WFWF Champion’s skull wide open. Kyzer picks Drakz up and with EASE props him onto his shoulders, dropping Drakz right on his neck WITH THE NEEDLE DAMAGE! KYZER HOOKS THE LEG ON THE FALL! 1!
2!Drakz. Kicks. Out. Everyone is stunned. Kyzer. The crowd. The ref. Alecia. Daniel. The whole lot. But this does not faze the God of F*ck. He’s on another plane, in another world. He pulls the bloodied champion up and drops him with a combination of the F*ck You into the Odium. But he doesn’t go for the cover. His eyes, black, eyes the turnbuckle. And the incensed man reaches down and grabs the champion’s arm and drags him to the ropes. Alecia Matthews: This is overkill, Kyzer. YOU HAVE THE TITLE. Daniel Knight: If this backfires, he has no one to blame but himself. But if he nails what I think he’s planning…more than the title and career will be lost for Drakz. Kyzer lifts Drakz up onto his shoulders in preparation for another Needle Damage. But instead he backs himself against the turnbuckle, placing one boot on the bottom rope, then the other, seating himself on the top rope. Alecia Matthews: …oh my god…not from up there…not even Drakz deserves… Kyzer stads straight up, Drakz on his shoulders but his footing slips, allowing Drakz to sit down on the top rope as Kyzer slips. Drakz deadlifts Kyzer out of pure instinct and has Kyzer up on his shoulders upside down on the middle rope and Drakz rolls off the top rope driving Kyzer’s neck into the mat with an inverted death valley driver…or…better known as…
Daniel Knight: AVALANCHE KYZER EFFECT! Neither man is moving, they're out!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
HOLY S**T!
The referee reluctantly starts the ten count, knowing that a match of this caliber cannot and should not end this way!
1!
2!
3! Alecia Matthews: No! It can't end like this! It can't! 4! 5!
6!Daniel Knight: Seven years in the making! The WFWF World Heavyweight Champion is on the line! This is it for either Drakz or Kyzer! Alecia Matthews: Whoever loses is gone from the WFWF forever! 7!
8!
Alecia Matthews: Come on, Kyzer! All of AT&T Stadium is on their feet!Suddenly, Drakz’ arm lands across the chest of Michael Kyzer. 1!2!3!The referee calls for the bell, and the crowd is utterly shellshocked.Christa Adina: …h….here is your wi….winner and still….WFWF….Champion….Drakz… The referee grabs the belt and lays it across the mat at Drakz’ head. Christa Adina: And…Mich….Michael Kyzer has….been forced to retire as collateral… The referee is shocked as well as everyone slowly realizes that Drakz can now brag, boast, whatever - that he is the greatest of all-time. Panting for air, he sits up from the mat and with the belt - his belt in hand crawls to the corner and sits, looking totally wiped out. Drakz: The Constant.... Drakz then starts laughing.Drakz: The f*cking constant! Michael Kyzer stays down, in the center of the ring.
His arms and legs sprawled out away from him as he lays there, out cold, unaware of what's happened as the lights high above in the roof of AT&T Stadium shine down on him as if God himself is taking Kyzer's spirit and soul away.
Away from the WFWF.
Forever.
The last scene shows Kyzer who is out, Drakz; the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion sitting in the corner amidst chaos while 100,000 fans look on in shock and horror as the show fades to black...

Here it is - SUPERBRAWL X! I stayed up all night, formatting everything twice since Wfigs decided to double-triple space everything that I copied and pasted from Word or the stuff that was sent to me but have no fear - Spotify kept me awake but I. Am. Exhausted. I hope everyone reads through the entire show and enjoys it. Please leave feedback - we all worked too hard on this show to get zero responses. I did the best I could running this show with what I had available to me so full disclosure if the show sucks, Big, big, BIG thank you to bad guy™ , King Richius and Devilkiller for helping me out with match writing (The first half of the main event kinda wrote itself ) It's no secret that my WFWF tank is empty so I had zero desire to write anything (I literally finished the Anna/Mesh match tonight) so those three stepping up to help me is greatly appreciated. They're the reason the show even went up since at one point, I was looking at writing three matches on top of the other stuff that I wrote for this show so they should get as much credit for the show going up when it did. I want to thank hazarrd , theMOESIAH and Johnny Mason for their debut vignettes. SuperBrawl is THE show so what better show to introduce your characters than here! I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with going forward and hope that I made your characters look good I also want to thank ZMaster , Markw , Devilkiller , sonstuds , bad guy™ and Thunder for their SuperBrawl memories. It was nice to see some of you guys come back, albeit briefly for this show and I felt it made the show feel more..... epoch. Special shoutout to Cameron Stone for agreeing to come back for a few shows just to help me out. Much appreciated! Okay, I'll stop with that joke now but seriously, Shawn pretty much got the band together for this so he deserves all the credit there for the memories. I promise all of you - Stay Gold will not take this long to write and post but I just hope that by reading this show, you'll understand why it took a while. Enjoy everyone!

I'm proud of what everyone did. Skipping my match, Needles and Broom was great, far better than I had originally. Hopefully as time goes on and I read shows again I'll get used to the characters so I can help out more effectively.
Mesh and Ahriman, Jesus Christ. Like how now there are two barbed wire crowns in WFWF. Neat. Besides that, what a match. I thought for a long bit of it Mesh was turning heel on us, until of course the end and the whole Daniel Knight thing. Thank god you can take a break.
The triple threat ladder match was amazing. I loved seeing the ending. I was told the ending was something crazy, and by damn it was. Frank has redemption, finally. Now, what's the plan? It's a lot easier chasing something. Now what?
The main event is just.. it speaks for itself. I can't say anything about it to help anyone visualize what happens. Read it. It's a fantastic match, and I'm glad I didn't judge the winner. It was hard between the two.
Congratulations to everyone apart of it, welcome to the WFWF all the new cats with your promos, and we promise Stay Gold will be posted before Halloween.
Happy SuperBrawl Day everyone!

Well it's a good thing I wasn't planning on being booked at Stay Gold. Jesus.
Hell of a show. I may have known the winners, but seeing it all put together in this nice package...plus the memories which were perfectly placed might I add...yep. Well worth the effort and wait.
Gratz to the winners, there wasn't a single match (sans the no show) that I didn't have to do at least a double take on reading the RPs. Regarding the main event, I admit I'm torn. Getting to see these two giants go off one more time excites me, but I will fully admit to REALLY wanting to have seen what Mike had up his sleeve when he eventually faced himself.

I'm sorry I couldn't contribute more to the show but @ballparkb0b and bad guy™ did a great job putting together a show worthy of the name SuperBrawl. To continue a tradition of the past, how's about everybody reply with the answers to the following: - your favorite match - your favorite moment - biggest surprise For me, my favorite match was Billy vs Needles. Awesome job bringing out the emotion of the wrestlers, particularly Billy fighting for the honor and safety of his daughter. It was a great culmination of the story I wrote between those two over the past six months (that was sadly absent from the RPs - dropped ball moment for both writers). I suspect this feud may not be over. The main event was, imho, quite epic and fairly cohesive given three different people wrote sections of it ( CM Poor , King Richius , and bad guy™ ). A true cooperative effort that I hope Drakz and Kyzer are happy with. I know that I for one tried to give the match the proper respect and grandiosity it deserved. It also surprised as the match on the card with the most actual wrestling after all the hardcore extreme violence of the three previous matches. As it should be for the SB main event. My favorite moment was the double spear to end the ladder match. Yes, I'm biased but there is no shame in my game today. I wanted my redemption at SuperBrawl and despite some serious real life road blocks I got it. Obviously I wanted to do more with my RP but I guess I did enough. Many thanks to Rated R and Ante Whitner for working with me to make the match happen. Biggest surprise was Thunder teasing a return under the right circumstances. Only time will tell if it happens but the seed has been planted. The return to in ring action of Cameron Stone is a close second.

Favorite match would be Broom and Needles, mainly because while I knew the outcome that was the one match (other than my own) I hadn't seen any of, and DK did a fine job with it. My favorite moment would be the destruction of Mesh by Needles. Kid's going places, just needs the right guidance RP wise and theicwguy will be right up there. Biggest surprise would be Drakz at the very end, "the constant" talk. I wasn't quite sure what either of them had planned, if anything, for post match if they won. So even if Drakz only said like, five words...the fact the man could speak after the hell us writers put them both through let alone be that prickish is surprising even for Drakz.

Let me state for public record: I wrote the match out, BUT it was Mesh that made it work so much better and edited and added and fixed parts to make the story and the match flow more seamlessly. I'll do my three questions after work. Glad the show was well received. Learned I need to get better at match writing.

Only thing I'll bitch at you about is learn to write ing commentary. That's even more arduous a task than match writing itself.

DK gave me pointers on the commentary for Broom/Needles but I wrote the commentary myself. Some of which I added on my own. Blame me for the subpar commentary.

He means I don't know how to write commentary period (I really suck) and I need to learn. Wasn't knocking the commentary in the show by no means.

So you'll have a "say" so to say in how the results pan out and not just be a fan. It's exciting.
