for me, legends/flashbacks are golden & attitude era. 1985-2000 I agree if I were to pick a time period to consider "flashback" 1985 to 2000 is where I'm at too.

Also this mish mash of series names Mattel uses doesnt help. Hall of Champions, Hall of Fame, Entrance Greats, Defining Moments, that throws a curveball at anyone trying to piece a collection together. Somethings going to fall through the cracks. people can rip on the quality all they want, but thats where Jakks Classic superstars killed Mattle! Classic superstar singles, 2 packs, and 3 packs. easy to collect! No doubt in my mind that the start/stop branding has had a huge negative impact on sales over the last few years. I think it Mattel had ridden out the struggles with the Legends line things could look very different than where they are today.

I think it Mattel had ridden out the struggles with the Legends line things could look very different than where they are today. hell yeah! shoulda stuck with 4 figs a set and limited them for a bit till it was hot again. man think of possibilities of that "Legends" only line when flashbacks started getting hot!
