So on the recent past we have seen 1. WWE muscle figures 2. WWE Metal Diecast 3. WWE loyal subjects
The muscle figures seem to have gone very quiet when the original blurb for them said "the first 4 packs" indicating there were plans for more. However those places which do sell them have had them reduced for a while
The metals line faded out fast - other licenses made by metals seem to go from strength to strength (ghostbusters as an example) but a lot of the WWE ones we saw pics for never saw the light of day
The loyal subjects are hard to find apart from ringside and a couple of other places online but in retail people have struggled.
So my thought - Is wrestling not as popular / marketable as it once was? The lines which do seem to do well are like the domez and funko lines which focus a lot on legends indicating maybe its elder collectors buying these sorts of things...

Seems like stores just don't order them. I've only seen the metals in abundance and those are pretty weak. Never have found MUSCLE, Domez, or Loyal Subjects at retail and even the stores that heavily stock Funko Pops barely ever get the WWE ones, Barnes And Noble being the only local exception. So the question is, is WWE not popular with fans/customers or just not popular with retail buyers who order for the stores?

But other brands like motu sell:
Funko pops Funko pint sized Loyal subjects Reaction figures Classic figures
Amongst other lines and all sell really well...

I heard the Loyal Subjects were supposed to be at all 7-Elevens. I have at least 10 around me here in NY, and I've still never seen them at any of them.
Not that I need to start with another line! LOL

I know that Jada Toys that makes the Metals struck a deal with I think it was a German company, not sure, but they stated it was only for some type of distribution deal I believe but even since that announcement it's like all the stores Walmart,Targets etc. just flat-out stopped stocking anything of theirs as far as any die cast figures aside from the collector cars. And their Facebook and Instagram pages have had very little in the way of updates-the last thing I saw was just for the SDCC exclusive Animated Series Batmobile with Batman. I loved collecting their little Nano Metalfigs including the WWE ones even though it seems they weren't as popular as the big sized Metals figures. But it looks to me like the Nano line might be dead sadly. Not sure
I loved the M.U.S.CL.E figures too and they def. take me back to my childhood days collecting them and lines like Monster In My Pocket. But did they make any more series of the Mega Man, Masters Of The Universe etc. ones too?? It seems like all of them including the WWE was a one-off type deal.

The MUSCLE figures didn't seem to catch on.
The Jada metal line is all but dead, they're focusing more on die-cast cars rather than figures now.
The TLS figures seem to have trouble catching a toehold at retail. The figures are great, but they're pretty expensive. A lot of people don't want to pay between $12-$15 for a blind box.
(This is a bit of a symptom of the designer vinyl market as a whole, I think. Kidrobot still has name recognition and a loyal online following, while Titan seems to have switched more to the Kawaii style, but even then I don't see them really anywhere anymore either. Funko does it cheaper, so people buy Funko.)
I'm hoping it's not too late for TLS. They've also updated their style and switched their case packs, but they still only seem to be at Target and Hot Topic.
