Yesterday was the 12-year mark of the infamous Benoit tragedy. It's so sad what happened and we might never know the entire story. I'd like to ask the following questions:
- What do you think happened? - What was your opinion on Chris as a worker? - What was your favorite match that Chris had? - What would Chris be doing today if he was alive?

- What do you think happened? We'll never know. - What was your opinion on Chris as a worker? Amazing talent, that is undeniable. - What was your favorite match that Chris had? vs Jericho at Rumble - ladder match for IC title. - What would Chris be doing today if he was alive? Possible retired now, although Jericho is still going.

- What do you think happened? Who knows, it sucked all around - probably the hardest tragedy I took to heart as a fan - What was your opinion on Chris as a worker? One of the best, crisp, intense, pure wrestling. - What was your favorite match that Chris had? Too many to count, but loved his match ups with Brock - What would Chris be doing today if he was alive? Retired, backstage talent adviser I'd assume (a role like Arn Anderson), power plant instructor maybe

- What was your favorite match that Chris had? vs. Kurt Angle (RR 2003)
- What would Chris be doing today if he was alive? No idea

What do you think happened? They said his brain damaged was that of an 85 year old suffering from Alzheimer. So I believe there was a period where he was delusional and committed the murders then hung himself in his gym when he realized what had happened.
- What was your opinion on Chris as a worker? One of the very best. A hall of famer
- What was your favorite match that Chris had? the Falls Count Anywhere match vs Kevin Sullivan at the GAB.
- What would Chris be doing today if he was alive? Training or fully retired.

- What do you think happened? Mr.AssBillyGun has good theory. But I have no clue, it's just tragic. - What was your opinion on Chris as a worker? One of my favorites. He typically works better as ruthless heel. But I loved his face run. - What was your favorite match that Chris had? Beniot Vs. HHH Vs. HBK Wm 20 - What would Chris be doing today if he was alive? I feel like he would of retired by 2010/2011. Most likely become a trainer.

- What do you think happened? Chris Benoit killed his wife Nancy and his son Daniel, and then committed suicide.
- What was your opinion on Chris as a worker? Was my favourite, I got into wrestling in January 2004 at the start of his push to the title, so I'm sure that played a significant part. But I loved his intensity and style.
- What was your favorite match that Chris had? vs. HHH & HBK at WMXX
- What would Chris be doing today if he was alive? Sitting in prison.

Nobody knows what happened and I don't really want to speculate. CB was an incredible athlete & performer. Vs Angle @ RR2003....Good GOD it was epic. Backstage agent Id say....likely heavily involved in NXT with HHH.

What do I think happened? I think he killed his wife and son, and then himself after years of mental health issues of which we were all completely unaware.
What did I think of him as a worker? He was the one who made me stop flicking through the channels in 2000 and introduced me to wrestling. He's one of the best ever.
My favourite match of his was his 2003 Rumble match against Kurt, I don't know how many times I re-watched that one.
I'd like to think he'd be a producer now, or a trainer somewhere.

What happen that day? I don’t know. I don’t know if anyone will ever really know why either. I really hope that show on Vice does a documentary on this incident and interviews as many as possible to see what others closer to him have to say. But for some reason, he snapped. What caused it? Who really knows. I do believe he was in some kind of not right state whether it was steroids or his brain suffering from concussion or a mix of both.
What do I think of him as a worker? A great one who really cared about his craft and took pride in his work in the ring.
Favorite match? Easily WM20. I was there and it was such a special moment. A lot of people say what he did overshadows the moment but that was the first wrestlemania I attendees and just the overall happiness for him finally reaching the top was such a cool thing.
What would he be doing now? It’s really tough to say. If he wasn’t still wrestling full time I could see him training at nxt or maybe having a school. I don’t think he’d do many one or a handful appearances for wwe since he was never that kind of a draw. He’d probably be around wrestling but not a full time performer. I could see him doing signings and such too

1) Dont know
2) Hall of Fame talent
3) Vs Shawn Michaels vs HHH at Wrestlemania XX or the 2004 Royal Rumble where he won it all. I dont normally like guys entering at #1 and winning the Rumble, but at least this time, there was a story behind it
4) Retired by 2009 due to head and neck injuries, NXT coach present day

I'd like to ask the following questions: - What do you think happened? - What was your opinion on Chris as a worker? - What was your favorite match that Chris had? - What would Chris be doing today if he was alive? What I think didn't happen was Kevin Sullivan killed all of them! As a worker he was awesome! He was my favorite wrestler from 03-07. Favorite match? Probably the WM 20 main event. He had a lot of awesome matches with Chris Jericho too. If Chris was alive today and was able to, he'd still be wrestling. He just loved it too much. I want to say this too, I don't know why people think there's even a slight chance he will be honored with a Hof induction after it is largely believed he killed his family before killing himself. I know there are conspiracy theories out there, but all signs are he did what he did. If he would have just killed himself, he would have been inducted in 2008.

him! ...seriously. I always loved Woman. I can’t even try to think about his little boy, it makes me want to cry still. He was a great technical wrestler who I found boring as hell mostly because of his small size. I only liked him briefly during his wcw days with the horsemen and especially as a tag team with mongo mcmichael. Once again, before I’m finished... him!! I could never want or have a figure of him in my home.

The only thing I will add to this thread is that I think his ladder match agai at Jericho at the Rumble was probably the best ladder match I've seen.

- What do you think happened? lost his mind. NFL has seen similar instances caused from brain damage - What was your opinion on Chris as a worker? Best technical wrestler of all time - What was your favorite match that Chris had? vs Angle ultimate submission - What would Chris be doing today if he was alive? He wouldn't be. He had about 10 months to live when the double-murder suicide happened. Don't know the rules about posting links, but I do have sources for this.

What do you think happened? - I think he did snap, don't think it was a matter of 'If' but more when, and 'When' just happened to be that weekend. I do think the Police and investigators could have done a better job though, the whole investigation just seemed rushed and jumped to conclusions.
What was your opinion on Chris as a worker? - One of the best of all time, someone entertaining to watch despite his "lack" of personality.
What was your favourite match that Chris had? - WrestleMania 20 or Rumble 01
What would Chris be doing today if he was alive? - Definitely retired, likely a coach/head coach at the PC & heavily involved with NXT. Also likely to have his own Wrestling School.
Also, i find it funny how some people only clicked on this thread to say "F**K him" etc... What's the point of reading the post, seeing the simple questions and feeling the need to ignore & bypass all of that just to express how much you hate him... No one cares, and we don't need you to bring down every thread about Benoit.

I'm surprised so many people think he'd definitely be retired if he was alive. He'd be 52 and lots of people have wrestled past 50(even 60). Look at Dustin Rhodes. 53 and put on a clinic with Cody. At 58 Flair had an awesome match with HBK.
