I would change nothing about King of the Ring 1995.

I love the bam bam idea, but there’s no way the kliq was going to let that happen. or else it very well may have. Waltman & Hall didn't seem to mind losing that much....and up to Nash? Hes is still retaining after all. HBK not involved(biggest roadblock) BUT Your probably right. I was listening to the Razor Ramon episode of Something to Wrestle with, and apparently Razor was one of the most anti-Bam Bam guys there were, which surprised me. he also said Nash was the hardest to get along with, which shocked me that HBK didn’t take that spot easily. that said, Razor was known for doing what he was told outside of the Goldust angle, Kidd was in no position to politic, and Nash would’ve gone over and at least has that to get over him and hbk’s match not being the wm11 main event. shame we never saw it.

1995:
King Of The Ring QuarterFinals: Jeff Jarrett def. Tatanka (heel vs heel) Shawn Micheals def. Lex Luger (babyface vs babyface) Bam Bam Bigelow def. King Kong Bundy Yokozuna (w/ Owen & Mr. Fuji) def. Mabel (w/Mo)
Regular Matches: Bret Hart def. Jerry Lawler (w/Isaac Yankem) Smoking Gunns def. Bob Holly & 123 Kid (#1 Contender match) The Undertaker def. Diesel and Psyco Sid by DQ, (Diesel still champ) in a WWF Title triple threat match
King Of The Ring SemiFinals: Shawn Michaels def. Jeff Jarrett (5 star match) Bam Bam Bigelow def. Yokozuna
King Of The Ring Finals: Shawn Michaels def. Bam Bam Bigelow to become the King Of The Ring (Bigelow was talkin crap how he aint losing KOTR to another tiny little wimp like he did last time with Bret)
The tourney had the build up with 4 top wrestlers in one bracket and the 4 giants in another!

I understand why people may look back and be pissed at the kliq trying to run things but as a kid, I was entertained by 123 Kid, Diesel, Razor and Shawn Michaels. I wasn't entertained by Adam Bomb, Pierre or Bam Bam (the three most mentioned as being held back). Bam Bam was a logical choice for a heel turn and new attitude and possibly run with Diesel but at the same time I think his best day were behind him. After the first few months of his WWF run (1987-88) he just didn't seem to live up to how great he probably could've been or was touted to be. I can also see if WWF soured on his given his first run and huge push and, even though he was injured, he went to NWA the same year he left WWF.

I think on the whole Vince misused his roster in 1995.....no two ways about it. RR95 & SSlam 95 could have been an awful lot better.

Crazy to think there was a KOTR with Undertaker and Shawn Michaels IN THE SAME BRACKET, and neither made it to the semi finals of the tournament haha
