Damn, my Ollie's is more packed with WWE Mattel figures than any nearby Target or Walmart. They have cases of Summer Slam Elites, 5 piece mini figure boxed sets and oodles of Fan Central Basics: Nash, Balor, Rusev & Orton. No doubt about it, in this case it's not Mattel but Target/Walmart not stocking figures. These retailer execs need to get their heads out of their butts and start carrying figures before their toy departments go the way of Toys R us.
BTW, the Elites are $10 and the basics are $8.

Target and walmart need to reevaluate how they handle the toy departments. The want the sought after items but have no plan seemingly on stocking the product. It's actually kind of insane their toy departments are so poorly managed.

They just bought old stock that belonged to Toys R Us at a deep discount. That is different than carrying the latest series which is what Walmart and Target does or is supposed to do.

Ollie's is still making money on Elites at $10 each. Their cost maybe $7/8. I realize that this is unsold older Mattel stock. Maybe if prices were lowered on newer releases at Targets/Walmart & online shops, they'd sell a lot more. When I worked at Kmart, cost for Elites were about $14 and retail was about $20 bucks. You know that due to buying power of Target/Walmart, they paid a lot less and still sold them about the same price or maybe a buck or two cheaper.

Somewhat surprised target and walmart dont try to get any of these older series. U think a shelf with balor, orton, nash, and rusev wouldnt be better than totally empty shelves? Hell target here is still pushing elite 53 at full price.

Out of curiosity what elites do they have? Elite 53 most likely. That set has been popping up at discount chains nationwide recently.

Out of curiosity what elites do they have? Summerslam heritage Elite series with Edge and Matt Hardy. Network spotlight Ambrose and Elite 53[again] have all been spotted at various Ollies over the past month or 2.$9.99 each.

The one Ollies we have in CT doesn't have anything WWE related. Last summer, I spent about 100 dollars there on old Summerslam 2 packs and Elites, but now the shelves are bare. Kinda jealous of all the findings I'm hearing about :-(

What is a 5 piece mini figure boxed set? Do you mean a mini box set of 5 full size figs?

Yeah, I just went a few days ago and they were barren. The big lots don't have anything either. The drought is so bad even Walgreens ain't got jack.

What is a 5 piece mini figure boxed set? Do you mean a mini box set of 5 full size figs? They are 3" figurines put out by Mattel. Found earlier this year individually packaged at Dollar Tree stores. Picked one up earlier today for $3.99. Here is a pic: And here is the thread where they were originally discussed: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/358624/mattel-2019-dollar-tree-figurines

Ollie's is hit and miss. I did see a few WWE things last time I was there but nothing that interested me. They did have the whole Multiverse Justice League BAF Steppenwolf set for $10 each. I didn't want to spend $60
