I would be satisfied if he faced no one at Summerslam. Hopefully the Undertaker takes him and his soul with him to the dark side and we do not see him for a considerable time. He should not be challenging for a title or heading a faction. Shane McMahon is the top heel in WWE. We all hate it. But we have to get used to it, for now anyways. I wouldn't bitch so much if he could still go in the ring like the late 90s, but 20 years takes its toll on everyone. He can still rock the mic, but he should just be a mouthpiece for a stable, and only get involved with cheap shots and ish, and be the one who gets the snot beat out of him to end a feud. Not the center attraction about to become WWE Champion at age 50+ because of his last name without a story as good as Vince's was when he won it. I agree that at best he should be the mouthpiece for the faction and he should be the one taking the fall like Jimmy Hart and Bobby Heenan did when it was time. I did not mind him as the head of Smackdown and whether that is as as face or heel is fine either way, but he has no business going to a title even with 5 guys backing him up.

KO's new shirt would suggests it's going to him.

In all honesty this is the most I've enjoyed Shane since The Invasion. He was boring as a face and since he's turned heel he's gained an edge that has been missing since his return. He can also draw nuclear heat from the crowd which is great because too many heels today get cheered.
What I would also say is that so many guys have benefited from his heel turn. The Revival are his buddies and recently won the tag titles and Elias and Mcintyre are heavily featured and get lots of TV time.
Down the line Mcintyre will shine like a star. He will turn on Shane and the crowd will go nuts which will hopefully rocket him to the top.

6 man with Shane, drew, and Elias vs Roman, miz, and owens with Shane taking the pin for presumably Roman would be my guess.

It's going to be Kevin Owens most likely because they are going to try and revive the stone cold gimmick using him so be prepared to see a lot of Owens and Shane segments/feud's here soon

It ends all of Shane's beefs and lets Roman, Miz, and Owens all get a piece of him on PPV. It just seems the most logically because it gets all those big names in a marquee match for the PPV, and brings the storylines all to an end. The following night Shane could have his send off by blaming drew and Elias, where they could turn on him and get a huge pop for them and start drews ascend to the title picture.

I honestly enjoy Shane's current in ring work. I don't like the Best in The World BS. Keep him away from Kofi. Maybe you could have him and Kofi face on SmackDown. After Shane's clique over power Kofi. Then Owens rush down to the ring and screw Shane over. But as for headlining Summer Slam match, no. Honestly I only would be interested in HHH Vs. Shane.

We've already seen Kevin Owens face Shane back in 2017. Started over Owens losing the US Title and blaming the then-Commissioner. Then Kev headbutted Mr. McMahon, but Vince was too chickensh*t to take an apron powerbomb. They had the whole ridiculous "Falls Count Anywhere" Hell in a Cell thing, where Sami turned heel. Then they kept interjecting themselves in title matches, though they never won crap. Then at WM 34 Shane teamed with a returning Daniel Bryan, but Shane stole the spotlight by fighting ⅔ of the match by himself with a serious illness. And Kev & Sami STILL couldn't put him away in a handicap situation.
All I'm saying, Owens could barely best Shane when Shane was technically a part-time competitor, even with help. What hope does he have now?

Roman, KO, Cedric, Miz and 'Taker vs Shane, Drew, Elias and The Revival, if Shane's team loses he goes away forever
