With Kevin Owens recently turning back into a face, going off on and giving Shane a Stunner, that's one other person who could possibly put an end to Shane McMahon at Summerslam. Roman Reigns has been dealing with Shane since the Superstar Shakeup and it would be a bit weird for him to end his feud with Shane after the tag team match at Extreme Rules. Miz has been intertwined with Shane since November of last year, and has done nothing but lose to Shane (3 times to make it worse) and his lackeys since Wrestlemania. Who's likely going to face and hopefully beat Shane at Summerslam in your opinion? I can't decide between Reigns and Owens. Miz needs the win but I feel like he's damaged goods at this point.

Nobody cares about the Miz at this point.
I hope Kevin wins in a loser leaves TV match.

I would have voted "who cares" if that was an option.

Spongebob Squarepants. Maybe he's the only person to soak up all that sweat.

All three and he’ll book himself to win. Didn’t find him entertaining in the Attitude Era nor do I find him entertaining now. I remember how most of you were so excited when he came back and they put him in charge of SD I said it would be worse than anything everyone was complaining about that Stephanie had done on RAW. And I was right. Since then he has been a major in ring and back stage focal point. I’ll take Stephanie’s back stage segments over Shane matches any day of the week.

I find it f*cking insane that Shane has been used as an in ring performer at the expense of the vast amount of talent they have...even worse? He's been booked to go over. It was rotten in 2003 with Kane(did permanent damage to the character) but its ludicrous in 2018/19.
Massive symptom of what's wrong in WWE this past few years.

I just wish he was used more sparingly.

One of the reasons I hated WWE in 2003 was the McMahons overstaying their welcome on wwe tv and Shane was one of them. 16 years later and he's the most pushed guy on the roster! You can make a whole wrestling fed of guys in wwe not being used(all the names Kevin Owens mentioned on smackdown). I don't know why Shane even got the pop he did when he came back in 2016? Now people change the channel when he is on.

Shane’s whole draw is taking falls. once a few years type of thing
it worked to move some wrestlemania tickets when he first came back
nothing since has worked.

its kind of amazing they basically have Shane as a regular performer now. i cant even wrap my head around this. his style & presentation worked during the attitude era, compared to the talent nowadays he just doesnt fit. but yet he's literally in a main focused feud with like 4 guys right now....i really don't get it.
SS he'll probably face all 3 of the above and win

Kofi for the WWE Championship. As disgusting as that sounds.

I would be satisfied if he faced no one at Summerslam. Hopefully the Undertaker takes him and his soul with him to the dark side and we do not see him for a considerable time. He should not be challenging for a title or heading a faction.

He should not be challenging for a title or heading a faction. Shane McMahon is the top heel in WWE. We all hate it. But we have to get used to it, for now anyways. I wouldn't bitch so much if he could still go in the ring like the late 90s, but 20 years takes its toll on everyone. He can still rock the mic, but he should just be a mouthpiece for a stable, and only get involved with cheap shots and ish, and be the one who gets the snot beat out of him to end a feud. Not the center attraction about to become WWE Champion at age 50+ because of his last name without a story as good as Vince's was when he won it.

It'll be Owens unless Bischoff has some big changef lined up for after Extreme Rules.

Judging by how things are being set up, it looks like Kevin Owens will be next. A modern day Vince/Austin but with Shane/Owens. BUT... I think it'd make more sense to let Miz be the one that takes Shane off TV once and for all. It's been built up for months and it would help redeem Miz for the two loses he took to Shane.

They could bring Stone Cold out of retirement, have The Rock come back and even somehow get Hogan circa 1989 back to team up and Shane would still go toe to toe with all three and probably get a win. People used to talk about "Super Cena" but Super Shane is a million times worse for me.
