unpopular opinion time.
Ultimate series is only good for entrance gear figures with leather jackets
They choose HHH & Finn....2 guys known for leather jackets. And they give them the looks they could've just done on a regular elite.
Finn should be non demon with his leather jacket (maybe blue one). HHH could've been a redo of the old Defining moments in denim and leather.

Mattel followed up their last head scan with an even better one!
I hope they eventually pump out that figure as an elite!

I'll definitely get Triple H but I'm disappointed it's an Ultimate. I still hate those torsos and there is no hiding it on that one like you can with Warrior/Bret/Nak. Regardless, I guess I'm grateful Mattel finally got around to doing the COO's most iconic look after ten years.
I'll grab the 97 HBK. I think those heads look terrible. I have an extra IYHBB head. So I'll pop that on it. Glad they have kneepads over the tights. That was honestly the selling point for me because Basics are horrendous now imo.
The Rollins head looks great, but unless the lighting is just weird I don't need the Thanos gear in the wrong colors. I'm sure he'll get a future Elite with that head. So I'll just wait. I'd love that head on his Bears Rumble attire in Elite form. Maybe we see that today.

That's just estimate for now. It could be turn out to be sooner. It doesn't cost anything to preorder. They don't charge till it ships. You know ringside will charge at least 8 bucks more. It's all depends money wise how good you are. I personally got no problem waiting and preordering it now

I KNOW RIGHT, HOW DARE THEY GIVE US HIGHLY DETAILED AND ARTICULATED FIGURES!!! People complained nonstop about basics losing ankle articulation at SDCC 2 years ago now they're complaining about figures having more articulation gimme a break lmao. The ultimates are cool, but the only real new articulation you get is the elbows and toe articulation. The ab crunch is completely abysmal. It’s terrible you could barely move it. It looks ugly and has even less range of motion (up and down) than the usual elite ab crunch. It's the main reason why I find it hard to get excited for the Ultimate figures. |

My wallet and space is happy so far. Tons of cool figures but thankfully no one I collect in elite form.
I'm assuming this all changes over the next couple of days.
