unpopular opinion time. Ultimate series is only good for entrance gear figures with leather jackets They choose HHH & Finn....2 guys known for leather jackets. And they give them the looks they could've just done on a regular elite. Finn should be non demon with his leather jacket (maybe blue one). HHH could've been a redo of the old Defining moments in denim and leather.
I would have loved if they did the denim/leather Attire!!! I wasn't collecting when they released that Defining Moments.
A couple thoughts:
Since I've been collecting for a couple years, IMO the most common complaint is the huge kneepads Mattel uses on many of their Elites...Naturally, they FINALLY release this version of Triple H, and he's got SMALL FREAKING KNEEPADS! (Hope the final product adjusts this)
Why are they including a head with the leather hat!?! That belonged on the Attitude Era Triple H. I don't think I've literally ever seen Triple H wear that hat while in his wrestling trunks. Poor decision.
The Ultimate torso articulation makes me cringe.
That Demon Balor looks PHENOMENAL. Finn bores me to death, but I may have to buy that!

What would be the best suited bodies for the Stooges? Paul Heyman for Patterson? Drawing a blank for Brisco. I did Paul Heyman (blue suit with yellow tie) and Mean Gene lower (tan khakis). I’ll post a pic later. |

Ultimate edition Balor and triple H on Amazon. Search wwe ultimate edition sort new arrivals That's just estimate for now. It could be turn out to be sooner. It doesn't cost anything to preorder. They don't charge till it ships. You know ringside will charge at least 8 bucks more. It's all depends money wise how good you are. I personally got no problem waiting and preordering it now Thank you! |

Glad to see Basics looking a lot better and the Battle packs having accessories again. Which ones are battle packs? They need to have an ultimate edition surfer sting and macho man Agreed, if they don't get them in this line that would be a huge disappointment for me. lame direction for ultimates especially with figures that could easily be elite without loosing anything significant i'd be down with all figures being ultimate style but if they are gonna treat the line so delicately. they shouldve gone with: macho man, sting, or hbk Agreed. These guys seem tailor-made for this line. |

so far for me it's a maybe on Flashback Vince  . I hope today I get blown away with their elite offerings.
Nice to see another piece of the 80s puzzle but thus far I see nothing to get excited about and only 1 new signing (Muraco). All the recent reveals- Monsoon, Patterson, Brisco & 80s McMahon are guys that are readily accessible to Mattel to make and not wrestlers. McMahon is the boss (nice cushy spot for him in the main line, yet Gorilla is still TBD) and the rest are all McMahon loyalists whom its pretty much a given would get a figure at some point. I am hoping they reveal some new, first time in the line figures today otherwise this Comic Con will be a bust for me (and likely many other 80s era collectors).

There will be more reveals today at the panel as well as at the Mattel booth (according to the Elite Squad video posted on Pg. 21).

"Glad I sold my collection"...yet, you're on here checking our new releases just to bitch about them. Yes, it's easy for me to purchase a whole collection again if there is enticing releases. I actually sold my collection over frustration from the Harley Race situation. If they announce some rereleases or a change in distribution, I'll rebuild my collection in a matter of months. I have sold my collection 3 times in 4 years. I'm talking about an almost complete set of flashbacks and legends. I haven't made a significant profit or loss each time. |

Balor & hHh are great looking figures but for a premium line not sure that’s who you go with. HHH could of been $10 cheaper as a regular elite. Demon Finn is overproduced, granted if you have to do a current guy who else do you that will sell? Demon Finn has been a cash cow. This line needs hogan, savage, hbk in it ASAP or it’s not lasting much longer unless we are wrong and/or they didn’t overproduce these. |
