I never realized this, and it came from Hogan's claim that Bret took the catch phrase the "best there is the best there was the best there ever will be" from Hogan...I found one part of it here (1:30-1:35)

I would think literally almost every catch phrase can be traced to earlier mention at some point in time, Bret ran with it and it worked, hogan said something similar one time
Although a cool little find here

Wasn't Bret already saying, "I'm the best there is, the best there was, and the best that there ever will be" before Hogan even cut that promo??
