I'm sure we'll get some silly crap and then Ron Simmons will just go "Damn". How about booking a good Raw with the people who are actually there instead of trotting out a bunch of "legends" to remind us how decent Raw used to be?

i think people were and are extremely happy that the likes of daniel bryan, cm punk, dean ambrose, seth rollins, samoa joe, aj styles and others finally got to be a part of the wwe product. and i don't think anyone is really complaining about match quality. and i think we've gotten a ton more classic matches within the span of time they've been a part of the company than the mid 2000s when it was 99% farmed talent. now creative? i think talent AND fans hate it equally. you've said yourself it's not the highest quality product they're shoveling out. Like I said... switching the show’s focus from characters and storylines to long workrate matches wasn’t what we wanted after all. Pretty much everybody on the kickpad era roster is capable of getting four Meltzers a night, but almost all of them are worse at making us care about what they’re doing than Renee Dupree was. And he had absolutely nothing other than his little dance, and sometimes a dog. Somehow, WWE has ended up with a roster of Shelton Benjamins and they’ve built the shows around that skillset. And I think we could all easily count on one hand now the number of storylines we’ve really cared about in the last five or so years that weren’t some variation of “you’re not my real dad, Vince, don’t tell me who to like!” And they’ve probably gone to that well once too often now, after Kofi and Becky at the same time. I’m hoping that Stone Cold Kevin Owens is going to lead to something decent once it’s past the “Y U NO PUSH ASUKA & MURPHY” phase, and that Bray Wyatt is going to be better at this new spooky than he was at the old spooky. But I don’t have much hope for anything in the near future beyond kickpad guys doing dives to the outside. I don’t disagree with the current roster having a lack of depth, and even that there’s a correlation to these workers focusing too much on their workrates and not on their character development....but I think the responsibility falls more heavier on wwe’s shoulders. Heyman took absolute c level wrestlers that didn’t have high school educations and made compelling wrestling storylines. I far prefer this roster and their matches to the the mid 2000s, and I think the majority of fans at least on this forum would agree. you’re essentially agreeing that storylines have been drivel for some time though so I guess we’re as close to the same page as we’re gonna get.

All I want is an Austin and Becky segment.

These "reunion" or homage shows used to be a fun addition, but I feel like there have been so many over the years where it now just comes off as monotonous.
It doesn't help that their creative team is currently in the toilet. They managed to flub the 25th anniversary of Monday Night Raw so I have little hope for tonight's event.

Have Vince & Shane in the ring. Owens comes out to confront them. Words get exchanged. Austin's music hits. He comes out and he Stuns Vince while Owens Stuns Shane. They toast each other.

Other than the 24/7 stuff before Drake beat M$M after the latter BOUGHT the belt so he should still own it and Melina, Torrie Wilson, and Eve looking gorgeous, this show sucked and the ending was very generic!

The responsibility falls completely on WWE. They’ve based the majority of their hiring practices, and the writing/formatting of the shows, on catering to Internet complaints - and they get more Internet complaints than ever now. Old man Vince has lost his spine, and it’s not even satisfying the people who asked for the kickpads era in the first place. It is making the company a ton of money to keep going until the next original idea comes along, though.

Candice Michelle is nice & thick. That was the highlight of the show for me.

Obviously the best part was seeing Shawn Michaels walk to the ring.
