I’m extremely excited for Murphy. Him, Ali, Andrade, and Drew have been on my list for a very long time and I’ve pre ordered 2. Got 1 and is currently waiting for Murphy to be available for Pre Order. Also I’m very excited for Ohno, Strong, EC3, Bryan and Dunne. I’ve wanted them for a while. I’m a bit disappointed that we didn’t get Elites of some tag teams. I really wanted War Raiders, Mustache Mountain, and Street Profits in particular. Also a bit bummed we aren’t getting Updated Elites of Andrade and Aleister Black. But overall very excited for the rest of the year my figure fed is very excited

I was surprised target is getting a new network spotlight elite series. Gives me hope that some kind of flashback series is coming to Wal-Mart again in the future. Very surprised and excited for Classy Freddie. Hopefully he isn't a 1 per case store exclusive but I'm sure he probably will be. That's alright though as long as I can get one I don't care.

Danny Davis.
No upsets, no letdowns. This product is not really geared for me anymore so I go in with low expectations.
But because I do have a Legends collection, I’m gonna need that Muraco, Valentine, Gorilla and Danny Davis.
*edit* ...and Rude...and Vince...and Anvil.
Too bad Flashback Steamboats weren’t overpopulating shelves because this figure would’ve been perfect for customizing a WMIII Danny Davis.

Chyna was a nice surprise
Disappointed that we didn't see Hogan, Jeff Jarrett. Richter. Probably not seeing King Harley in the line again anytime soon.
Excited for Chyna, Muraco, Valentine, 80's Vince, Blassie, Monsoon, Rude, Liv Morgan, Logan, Vega, Lucha House Party

Chyna was the biggest surprise. Can’t wait for Big Show, RSC Undertaker/Kane & hopefully I can find/get a Big Daddy Cool Diesel figure.
Brood Christian & Sting are nice & upcoming wants. No nwo Hogan. Oh well.

Like every year I absolutely loved it. I am thrilled to see Monsoon, Muraco, Danny Davis, Chyna, Gerald Brisco, Valentine and several other classic wrestlers making their way into the Elite Squad lineup. While there are some unanswered questions I have about the updated status of Titus O’Neill and Wendi Richter (which hopefully is answered in the Q&A with Bill) I was absolutely pleased with what Mattel has to offer. I for one don’t like to be overloaded with new upcoming figures that technically aren’t a guarantee that they will come out. For the collectors who think Mattel didn’t show enough you seem to forget that Bill does 3-4 quarterly showings of new product a year at Toy Fair, Las Vegas toy show, SDCC and RSF. Right now SDCC showed us 3 months of upcoming product and RSF is next in October which most likely show finished figures of what we saw at SDCC and what will be available after those finished product

What reveal surprised you the most? I can say just about everyone wasn't expecting Chyna, that was most def the surprise of the year.
What was it that upset you the most or just let you down? Nothing, they did what SDCC reveals is all about, and that's to hit us with the unexpected.
Which figs are you excited about the most? Too many to name but for the most part, Everything in the Attitude Era really has me hyped up. Also Rick Rude, been waiting for that version of him.

My favorites are the elite Ziggler, basic 100 HBK and also the screw job hbk ultimate render and the ultimate edition HHH

Overall it was a pretty great set of reveals. Chyna was a huge shock. The upcoming Gargano and Balor look amazing. The UE HHH and HBK are both great figures that fill in holes in my collection. Mattel's design work has been top notch. And a singles Neidhart is a figure that I've wanted for over 20 years.
I can't say anything disappointed me, maybe aside from the lack of Hogan or Jarrett. But at the same time I'm definitely not feeling the same energy I had post-reveal in years past. I'm not sure if that has to do with the recent distribution (not being to walk into a store and buy new figures is a bummer) or if my interest is just trailing off. I think the recent cancellations have also tempered my excitement for new figures. Absolutely great work by Bill and company, but something just feels flat for me.

Chyna's the elephant in the room. I thought she had a snowball's chance in Hell of being made but I suppose the writing was on the wall once DX got the Hall of Fame nod.
Honestly the only letdown I saw was the Retros being put on hold for I assume the He-Man line which I feel for the collectors but I'm willing to bet they'll come back once the MOTU train left the station. Personally, Gargano's sleeves are a kick in the bollocks but I'm still getting him.
Any of the flashbacks shown are on my hit list, from Gorilla Monsoon to UE Triple H, Freddie Blassie to Hurricane, they'll all be mine. Some of the NXT reveals have me salivating like Adam Cole and Roddy Strong. I'm also interested in seeing the new women Elite articulation.

The reveal that surprised me the most was probably Freddie Blassie. I kind of associate him with the "Jakks guys" that only Jakks would ever put out.
The thing the was a let down was the lack of WCW titles and lack of WCW flashbacks. I'm pretty much set as far as WWF flashbacks at this point. Really the big one for me that hasn't been made is Dynamite and matching Davey Boy Smith. I only collect my top favorites at this point and maybe a year ago I would have been all over Greg Valentine for my IC Champs and Tag Champs display (I used to display all champs in order with the title they held) but now it's mostly NWA/JCP,WCW, and ECW guys I'm looking for.
Not really that excited for anything that Mattel showed. I'm excited for the people that are getting what they want whether it be that Valentine or some new guy that I know nothing about that Mattel continues to mess up the height on.
Also disappointed that Criterion held off announcing spine #1000 and it leaked and it's a box set.
Also also disappointed that Scream didn't come out with any films from the Friday the 13th franchise after they clearly have a deal with Paramount.
Also also also it's awesome Paramount is finally letting other companies release there titles they clearly don't care about. So +1 for Shout/Scream.

What reveal surprised you the most? -Chyna, and the return of Network Spotlight.
What was it that upset you the most or just let you down? -I wish we'd have seen a Matt Riddle elite, but I wouldn't call it upsetting or a let down. The reveals were great!
Which figs are you excited about the most? -Ultimate Edition Finn Balor, Adam Cole, Gargano, Daniel Bryan, AJ/Finn 2-Pack.
