Lost the copyright to the stripper theme is a safe bet. His WCW Tina Turner-like theme was always better I legit thought it was Tina Turner singing when I first heard this back in the day lol

I was born in raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Robbinsdale is literally the next town over from where I grew up. I was huge Rick Rude fan. I feel he was so underrated during his time. Just the idea of airbrushing your tights for your current feud or the major event you're working is awesome. When he showed up with DX it wasn't the right fit, but I was glad to see him. It's crazy how the screw job made Rude leave the WWF. If I'm remembering correctly he called Bischoff from the locker room and explained what happened and since he didn't have an actual contract he was free to go to WCW. Hart spoke about it in his book and had nothing but nice things to say about him. On 83 weeks Bischoff stated that he went to Rude's funeral and was asked to leave by the family. Apparently Rude was upset that ATM Eric wouldn't pay off his Lloyd's of London policy which is why he never made an in ring return.

You're kidding, they changed his WWF entrance theme? Why? Lost the copyright to the stripper theme is a safe bet. I thought the WWF at the time had a guy (along with Jimmy Hart) who created the majority of the theme songs and that the WWF owned them.

I asked the question about how he fit in as i’m conflicted but you sum it up perfectly for me. I was glad when he came back, even though he didn’t quite fit in with the group.

They also used a lot of production stock music they don't own the rights to

I have to say I been watching some WCW shows this week and I had forgotten that he and Steamboat had some great matches in the early 90’s.
