Does anyone know when she debuted it? Was there ever a reason given why she started wearing it? Did she ever wrestled with facepaint on besides WM6?

I think it was just something she did along side Randy Savage.

She was supposed to wrestle at SSlam 90 but in the end the match was nixed after Sapphire was bought out by Ted DiBiase!

She did start using it in 1989, not a full face, but different designs at times. She used to use a little over her eyes (beyond her makeup) back when she held the women's title.

I think it was just something she did along side Randy Savage. I'm pretty sure that when she managed Shawn she had a facepaint on like a big heart on her face sometimes. |

Yes she did, with Ted DiBiase as well (she sometimes had painted million dollar symbols on her face). Though, I believe it started during her time with Savage.
