WFWF presents:The WFWF Goes to HELLA special OUTDOOR PRESENTATION LIVE from the Public Square Park in Hell, MIThe Main Event! WFWF International Championship A Battle For the Right to Be Called “The Greatest”!--------------------------------------------------- Frank Lynn vs. ThunderAs the WFWF prepared itself for Stay Gold, Frank Lynn quietly but definitively surpassed David Brennan’s four hundred and seventy one day reign as WFWF International Champion to cement himself as the second longest reigning International Champion in WFWF history! Although “The Lethal Weapon” had attained his first championship in the WFWF through questionable means, he’s since spent the past year-plus proving himself to be the consummate fighting, reigning, and defending champion. Throughout Frank Lynn’s championship run, the likes of Mak Cross, Ante Whitner, and Tyler Draven have all sought to cut short his historic reign, and all - in some cases twice - have failed to snatch the belt from his clutches. At Stay Gold, “The Lethal Weapon” emerged to lament his apparent lack of competition. Citing the absence of any competition worthy of the pursuit of his championship, Frank wondered aloud if he’d be simply left to shatter records from the relatively safety of the backstage locker room. Enter Thunder. It’s been over five years since Thunder was last seen in a WFWF ring. At Stay Gold, Frank Lynn made no secret about the fact that it was, in fact, Thunder’s record-setting five hundred and nineteen day reign as WFWF International Champion that he was ultimately gunning for. Though many thought him to be in a permanent state of retirement, it’s little surprise to those most vested in the WFWF that the mere mention of an endangered record is often all it may take to draw even the most convicted in their retirement out of the shadows in bullheaded defense of their hard fought glory. Circumstance dictates that by the time the WFWF descends upon the most curiously named township in all of Michigan, Frank Lynn will have likely already cemented himself as the new longest reigning International Champion. In Hell, however, “The Lethal Weapon” will instead be tasked, perhaps, with proving to any doubters he has left that it is he that is most worthy of calling himself, by numerous virtue, the Greatest International Champion of All Time. Hell....in a Cell! WFWF Vanguard Championship--------------------------------------------------- Anna Ahriman vs. Ryan “Needles” PayneStay Gold saw Ryan “Needles” Payne slated to answer for the unspeakable acts he carried out against Mesh at SuperBrawl in the form of the recently resurfaced DevilKiller. Though Needles indeed saw himself ultimately held accountable for his actions, his judgement came at the hands of not one, but rather five WFWF superstars, as a cavalcade of displeased parties emerged to confront the young rookie for his transgressions in recent months, the charge being led by none other than current WFWF Vanguard Champion Anna Arhiman. Declaring herself to have “first dibs” against the flighty youngster with a penchant for violence, Ahriman declared that as the WFWF descends upon Michigan, she and Needles, together, would indeed be headed for Hell...in a Cell! With five walls severely limiting Payne’s means of egress, as well as the ingress of anyone depraved enough to be willing to back him, the odds would seem to be inordinately stacked in the current champion’s favor. Needles, however, did pick up a convincing win over Billy Broom at SuperBrawl, proving that, at least for the moment, he isn’t entirely incapable of victory. Just as he’ll be locked in Hell with Anna Ahriman, so too shall she be with he. If Needles is able to eke out a second victory, he’ll have the WFWF Vanguard Championship to show for it. Texas by-way-of Calgary by-way-of Jersey Bullrope Match The Open Challenge - ANSWERED!--------------------------------------------------- Cameron Stone vs. DevilKillerAt SuperBrawl, the world witnessed the unexpected return of one of Canada’s finest exports - WFWF Superstar Cameron Stone. With his legal matters in the WFWF commuted and an open slate upon which to cast his return, Stone arrived in Tulsa boasting the right to face whoever he pleased, whenever he pleased, wherever he pleased...and however he pleased. Leaving his first set of decisions to chance, Stone declared an open challenge, daring anyone in the back to emerge and welcome him back to the WFWF in style. Enter DevilKiller. A bit of friendly back and forth between the two former National Champions soon laid the groundwork for a match to be decided when The WFWF Goes to Hell. Invoking the unique stipulations of his newly forged contract, Cameron Stone declared that the two would tie up, quite literally, in a Texas Bullrope Match. It’s a bit of the past and a bit of the future in a match that’s sure to bring a bit of Texas grade heat straight to Hell! Angling for Leverage--------------------------------------------------- ”The Father” Luke Marshall vs. Billy Broom Stay Gold saw the debut of many new faces amid the WFWF roster, perhaps none more impressive, however, than the enigmatic “Father” Luke Marshall. With an impressive victory over two other newcomers, “The Father” reemerged in the WFWF locker room as a newly minted face to watch. Not every debut was as fruitful, however, as the deranged Daisy couldn’t get out of her own way, opening the window for Billy Broom to avenge his recent loss at SuperBrawl. Now, as The WFWF Goes to HELL, the two victors will have the opportunity to knock one another down a peg. To do so will undoubtedly come with the added prize of inching one step closer to that illustrious title opportunity. In defeat, one will have an even greater ascent from which they’ll need to claw their way out of Hell. Hellbent on Redemption--------------------------------------------------- Daisy vs. Johnny MasonOpen debut contests invariably leave at least one newcomer in the red, tasked with the insurmountable challenge of clawing their way back from a zero and one deficit. That’s the task facing Johnny Mason as his greenhorn journey brings him straight to Hell. It won’t be easy, either, as he finds himself across the ring from the newcomer Daisy, fresh off of an opportunistic loss at the hands of Billy Broom. In a statistically even contest, only one of these newcomers will be able to emerge from Hell with one foot back on track toward cementing his or her legacy in the WFWF. A victory here will be the first step in cleansing the memory of defeat from the WFWF collective, allowing either to regain their footing on the road out of Hell toward greatness. Anyone who said this place is headed for Hell was spot on, as we're officially en route to our next stop along the dwindling road to Survival of the Fittest. Perhaps @ballparkb0b or King Richius could sticky this, lock the sign-ups, move the Stay Gold card, and properly arrange the remaining stickies. With any luck, I'll be able to do so myself, come results time? As always, a full slate of matches are up for grabs to whoever'd like to help contribute by writing them out. Frank Lynn vs. Thunder: King Richius Anna Ahriman vs. Ryan "Needles" Payne: bad guy™Cameron Stone vs. DevilKiller: @ballparkb0b "The Father" Luke Marshall vs. Billy Broom: @ballparkb0b Daisy vs. Johnny Mason: @ballparkb0b Also as always, anyone looking to further their character/angle/story along by way of segments is welcome to submit. Editorially speaking - I know deadlines typically fall on Sundays. I've noticed, as of late, the ten day period trending toward a 15 day period. This falls just shy of that to hold close to the typical Sunday deadline, so in the interest of splitting the difference, let's try and consider the Monday deadline a preemptive 24 hour extension...for argument's sake. See y'all in Hell!

This show is going to be one....hell of a good time!
No joke, this card is straight fire!
+2 for me
Anywhoooooo, I'll be submitting a segment or two and I'll tackle Father/Broom and Daisy/Mason.
I also unstickied and moved stuff in the thread so it looks less congested.

Not gonna lie and tell you I'm gonna do a lot this show. My focus is on my RP, and since I'll be turning 21 August 5th, and I'm taking holiday from then until the 9th, I'm gonna be doing a whole lot of nothing but drinking that week. So if my RP has ranting in it, know it was done in a non-sobered state.

I'm gonna submit a segment if that's okay I will also submit a segment, if that’s alright Completely alright, on all accounts. I can't emphasize to our newer members the benefit of writing segments for the shows. Setting aside the benefit of the additional opportunity to hone your writing skills, segments are not typically something that the owners are going to put together on your behalf. In essence, everyone here has a great deal of "creative control", so to speak, over their characters. Writing segments to flesh out your characters' angles, stories, or even their personality allows you to get yourself that much more "screen time", and can be instrumental in positioning yourself toward to front of the collective mindset when it comes to arranging the pieces for new stories and pushes.

Yes! That's exactly what mine is gonna sound like! I wasn't drunk when I wrote it. I was just obliterated when I remembered, apropos of nothing, hundreds of miles from home, that it was due and posted whatever had been completed.

No motivation. Gonna try to gain some when sobriety goes out the window. I always wrote better as a depressed drunk anyway. Let's see if it can save me one more time, shall we?

I'm currently in the middle of getting kicked out of my house by my stepdad, haven't started yet, and my RP will likely be written in one two hour window at the library. You're probably good lol

Not sure this will go over too well lol. Finally sitting and trying to write something, and I've been out of it too long lol. I can't really write the RP format anymore lol. This is writing like a novel/story.
Oh well. Just want to have fun and not think about life, so I'm not overly concerned if my RP gets trashed by everyone lol.

I just realized that the match/segment deadline is less than a week away. I have plans that will delay any writing until Monday so my match and the segment I have planned to re-introduce Maxwell Dachs to the WFWF community may be late.

I just now drew the correlation between the deadline ish and the fact that I'm on vacation next week. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
