What wasn’t the Bret Hart on the Ultimate Warriors team instead of the rockers? But they still need another guy on there replace The rockers should have been on 4x4 in my opinion

As Koreygunz said above they were experimenting with a singles run with both Bret and Anvil. Bret had been working with both Dino Bravo and Mr. Perfect during this time which is probably why he was on the 4x4's because Dino was on the King's Court. Not sure why Anvil was on the Warrior's team, though, he had worked with Haku some during this time but it didn't appear to be a feud. The Rockers had a few TV matches with the Brain Busters recently which was why they were on the Warrior's team against Heenan's team.
Side note, this is one of my favorite Survivor Series PPV's, I really enjoyed all the matches, Arn Anderson was tremendous in the final match and he delivered probably the best spinebuster I have ever seen on Shawn Michaels. Also, Bret received a very good pop when he entered the ring and faced off against Macho King, Bret has spoken about this one shoot interviews, he said after the PPV Macho took him (Bret) by the hand and led him into Vince's office and said that he (Macho) wanted to work a program with Bret - being big fans of both I would have loved to have seen this.

This is one of my favorite PPvs ever. It was one of the first I saw and made me a lifetime fan of the concept. I still think this PPV should be entirely survival matches. Throughout the years they've had 12 or more ppvs a year for title defenses and what not, this ppv could have kept feuds feeling fresh. The spinebuster Shawn took was amazing, a year later he took ome of the greatest backdrops I ever saw, from the Warlord.

Agreed, with the number of PPV's they have now, not to mention the fact that you get PPV type/quality matches on Raw and Smackdown, the WWE would be smart to have a few gimmick PPV's per year to change things up. This would definitely help considering at this PPV you wouldn't get a one-on-one match between two guys that are feuding and have probably already had a match on a previous PPV plus a match on Raw or Smackdown, it could help elongate feuds without it getting boring. Rick Martel and Jake were both perfect at using this PPV to continue a feud. Jake would try to get his hands on the guy he was feuding with but the bad guy would always tag out, then when Jake was down the bad guy would come back in and attack Jake, then when Jake would start to get the upper hand the bad guy would tag out leaving Jake pissed that he didn't get his hands on him. You would usually get 2-3 minutes of Jake and the bad guy he was feuding with having it out in the ring but definitely not a full match - it would leave the audience wanting more.

LOL I was at this show. I had pretty decent seats level with the ring but i went down to ringside before the show and there was a front row seat open. I sat down and was never told to move! So I got a nice front row seat. You can see me when Andre The Giant gets knocked out of the ring, he almost falls on me. And that is my hand that blocks the camera with a wave during one of the matches. lol
Great times.

I wonder how Andre felt that he didn't get to make it to the end of the match. The previous two years he lasted until the end of his matches but I guess a combo of his health was so poor by this time and needing to showcase Warrior big quickly they needed Andre out of there fast. Andre was an attraction wrestler to me. I would be pissed if he got eliminated so quickly especially at a favorite of mine like Survivor Series.

[br It certainly didn't help the match/Main Event that Tully was fired and Heenan had to step in. Match was pretty good but definitely hurt with the early elimination and replacement.

I don't know, I think the addition of Heenan was well done especially since most people wanted to see Warrior get his hands on him. But Tully would have made the wrestling aspect of it better.

I've always wondered what Andre was saying after he was dropkicked from the ring lol He was saying the guy in the front row didn’t pay for that seat!! Excellent PPV. I love the entrance of Rude’s brood, WWF music at its finest!! Heenan’s performance at the end when he realises he’s on his own in the ring with the Warrior is priceless. I’d still rather have seen Tully in the match though. So many great performances. Loved Jesse giving Ho-hum a hard time on commentary for getting Zeus and The Powers of Pain Disqualified. I think that it would have been better with clean finishes and even Hogan’s team getting beat but can’t have it all my own way. Will have to watch again soon

Will have to watch again soon Jesse getting on Hebner's case about saving Hogan from Zeus was gold.
Also loved his line after Jake was eliminated and he's trying to cheer on Hogan from the outside he's like ''Your night is done Jake take a walk!''

My favorite bit from Warrior's team VS. Heenan Family was when Double A went to lock up with the Warrior himself, put his hands up and said "Now, calm down... Calm down."
