Why arent they calling the main event 3 stages of hell.
I loved the the HHH vs Austin match, always sticks in my mind.
Also, the theme tune is AMAZING. I'm loving that song at the moment.

I know a lot of people that are fond of that HHH/Austin 3 stages of hell match, but for me it's HBK/HHH from Armageddon 2002. One of my earliest memories as a WWE fan. |

Lol they also did 3 Stages of Hell with Orton vs Triple H in 2009 which was right at the beginning of the PG shtick and it was full force. They just really haven’t had a gimmick filled rivalry or one full of brutality that would warrant that style of match imo. |

A stacked card as usual, and I'm definetly looking forward to this show WAAAYYYYY more than SS. As far as outcomes, I can go either way on all except one. The Street Profits MUST win. With the way NXT is booked and the fact they have a one hour show plus the takeovers are once every few months, you look forward to their shows. I hope that never changes. I hope NXT never goes two hours, I hope they never become a cable show, and I hope they never do takeovers every single month. With the main product there is more supply than demand! That's why I'm looking forward WAAAAYYYY more to Takeover than summerslam like you are😀 |

I know it could do with a bit more build, and I know 5 is the magic number when it comes to matches at Takeover's, and I KNOW the card is looking strong as always, but it lacks Riddle/Dain imo.
Well, it lacks Riddle in general. Guy is NXT's biggest star imo, world is his oyster. I know call ups don't tend to go as well as hoped/expected, but they really just need to strap a rocket to him and propel him to the Universal title. Seems a strange choice to leave him off the card.

Very excited for the show tonight. I do find it a bit curious that Riddle/Dain wasn't put on this card instead of Shirai/LaRae, but even so I'm looking forward to all of the matches. Gargano and Cole have been killing it in their series so to be able to witness the blowoff live will hopefully be very exciting if their last two matches are any indication. The North American Championship triple threat should also be phenomenal.
