classicfan2 I'm sorry for asking what I did. If you like big man matches that's fine. I mean why shouldn't you? Because Joke Meltzer wouldn't give them 5 stars(or even half of one). The first five summerslams to me were awesome shows, but because Meltzer doesn't think a lot of matches were good, people think they weren't. As a kid I probably would have looked forward to the spectacle of Giant Gonzales vs Ultimate Warrior. i love Meltzer but him and many others base matchs on how good they actually wrestle. im lucky becaue i can enjoy both. i LOVED the cruisereight division in WCW and bret vs hakushi matches all day, but i love giants and the big colorful names goin at even more. after hulk/piper/mtv which got me into wrestling it was onto hogan/andre vs studd/bundy for me. im kinda a giant fanatic. |

he was pictured on the RR93 poster as being in the rumble! woulda had some fun matches with Taker, Gonzales, Kamala, Luger, Yokozuna, etc! I dont know about that. A deflated Ultimate Warrior in a singlet would have trouble Gorilla Pressing those guys. |

I'm willing to bet if Warrior feuded with Narcissist Luger,Vince would've had another super posedown like Rumble 89.

As brief as it was, they booked Luger VERY strong as "The Narcissist" so I'm gonna assume if he had a feud with Warrior then Luger would come out on top. Not sure if he would've agreed to those terms. |

I still don't believe Bret vs. Warrior would have happened at the Royal Rumble '93, and if it did happen?? Bret would have lost for sure!
Look how fast Vince was quick to take the belt off Bret when he found out that Hogan was wanting to come back and have one more run.
I still say that Bret vs. Ramon was always set to take place at the Rumble. They were building Razor for months.
