2008 doesn’t work in my mind for the RA era. That’s the first year of PG. It was a transitional period. Not really RA but not really PG either |

2003: Shane McMahon being booked as Kane's equal in their feud. Absolutely atrocious booking and egomania ran amok here. The Kane character would never recover. What about Stephanie McMahon being in main events of smackdown against guys like Big Show and A-Train? She wasn't presented as an equal, but it was definitely egomania run amok. Two other things I hated about 2003 were the Scott Steiner and Test feud and RVD being relegated to midcard when he should have been a main eventer. He was over the second he debuted in 2001. Ahhh Stephanie as GM. She abused her position as head of creative savagely from 2001 onwards IMO but 2002/2003 were insanity altogether. Every male being in love with her and trying to "hit that" was mental….Steiner, Bischoff, Cena and I'm sure I'm forgetting some too. Also the booking of HHH/Y2J was horrific. But incredibly you will get some defending her behaviour here....She was one of the biggest things wrong with the RA era as an onscreen character. Vince & Shane too |

Stephanie was nice to look at back in 03 but yeah other than that I could've did without her character on SD back in 03.
That feud with Vince was cringe.

They kept going back to the McMahons over & over. Vince and Shane feuding with DX was funny but not when the Macs were presented as physical threats to them. |

i could never really stand the general managers. stone cold watered himself down, bischoff made sense for a while...but that's where it all fell off. we still got some solid feuds, and even though i have gripes with triple h's handling of some talent i did enjoy his 'reign of terror'. as a wcw fan it was fun to wonder who was going to come through next.
smackdown had some tremendous matches and feuds of course. lesnar/angle was fantastic. lesnar/holly...not so much.
benoit, rvd, guerrero, and mysterio all being workhorses in wwe was tremendous.
kane unmasked was basically all cringe.

Never was a big fan of the GM angle either but I will say Bischoff did a great job in the role. I enjoyed the run he had there from 02-05.
On SD side, Teddy Long was my fav GM.You can always count on a tag match with...DA UNDERTAKAAAA!!!

Scripting Steph and Vince to get beat on.... To illicite sympathy for HHH and make Orton more despised 😂😂😂😂 Crowd loved it.....just goes to show how out of touch they are. Oh the Orton & Legacy are killed in one night as they are booked to back off from Shane 🙄🙄🙄 |
