2003- Triple H hogging the world title and making others look bad, mishandling of Goldberg, the crappy ppvs like Bad Blood, Judgement Day, No Mercy, etc, Kane losing his mask and constantly getting one upped by Shane McMahon, Kane being on house arrest for tomb stoning Linda but still being in the arena, Vince McMahon hogging tv time and having two of the worst feuds in wwe history- vs Zach Gowan and Stephanie, and Roddy Piper coming back and then getting fired a couple of months later.
Personally I don't consider the RA era classic.

2003: Shane McMahon being booked as Kane's equal in their feud. Absolutely atrocious booking and egomania ran amok here. The Kane character would never recover.

I think a lot of people in the classic section stopped watching by the time RA era started hence the lack of responses. Sometimes I wish I did.

Always liked the DX reunion in 2006. 2002 was fun on both sides, minus katie vick. I didn't hate Raw in 2003, but I would rather tune into SmackDown. 2004 I would rather watch Raw, but I liked the main event scene on SmackDown. I enjoyed JBL's run. I never liked the second half of 2005 to much. I did really like the Rumble,Mania, Backlash, and ECW One Night Stand 2005. Edge/Matt Hardy was cool. Cena/Angle was cool I guess. But the best was the early stuff with Michael/Angle, Batista/HHH, Orton/Taker. 2006 was horrific. Raw had great main event scene throughout the year though. Everything lower on the card was horrible. 2006 would of been perfect year for Beniot/Taker. I'll skip over SmackDown for 2006. 2007 started really strong. And it was off to good start until the Summer hit with everyone getting hurt. But, I do think it gained back little bit of pull in the last month of the year. 2008 is my favorite year of wrestling. Period. I enjoyed everything from both brands in 2008.

I think a lot of people in the classic section stopped watching by the time RA era started hence the lack of responses. Sometimes I wish I did. That's when I started watching wrestling less and less, even stopped for a few years. The characters didn't do anything for me and a lot of the guys that I grew up watching were starting to retire or wrestle part-time. Sad thing is, the Ruthless Aggression Era is miles better than today's era, it is hard to watch most of the time - great athletes but the story lines and characters are terrible. And, too often they build up characters and story lines for a couple of months then undue what they just did in the next few months. For instance, and I can't remember who it was now, but they spent about 2-3 months building sympathy for a character making them a babyface then once the blow off match for that storyline happened they immediately turned the person heel - makes no sense. Also, when they brought Shane back, and he feuded with Vince, they built a story line that if Shane won his match at WM (against the Undertaker) he would get to run Raw but if he lost he would get nothing. So, he lost to Taker and the next night Vince let him run Raw for a bit then gave him Smackdown to run. Nothing makes sense anymore.

Hmm, well, let’s see here:
2002:
Good:
Hogan’s return Taker’s heel run Lesnar’s rise to stardom HBK’s comeback Bischoff as GM of Raw RVD being RVD
Bad:
nWo story HHH/Jericho not delivering the way it should WWE title hot potato
2003:
Good:
The U.S. title returns The Lesnar/Angle story Mr America (The small bit we got anyway) HBK/Y2J feud
Bad:
Hogan quits Goldberg’s booking The death of ABA Taker HHH dominating Raw Booker T’s push fizzling out Austin retires
2004:
Good:
Eddie wins the big one Benoit wins the big one HBK/Benoit matches Evolution begins to fall apart
Bad:
Taker back as the Dead Man Lesnar quits HHH buries Orton JBL’s absurd push to the top of the card
2005:
Good:
HBK/Angle feud Cena dethrones JBL Batista dethrones HHH Cena and Batista switch brands HHH/Flair feud Flair gets one last singles title run RAW vs SD ECW ONS Hogan’s back...again! Edge/Matt Hardy feud
Bad:
Eddie passes away The Eddie/Rey custody storyline Bischoff leaves Jericho leaves Hogan/HBK at SummerSlam
2006:
Good:
HHH face turn DX returns SNME is back Rated RKO Angle as champ RVD as champ
Bad:
ECW ONS WWECW RVD f’s up his push Rey’s push Batista out injured Angle quits
2007:
Good:
Edge HBK/Cena
Bad:
The Benoit tragedy Taker getting injured Batista’s questionable booking HHH injured
So, looking at that, I’m going with 2004, closely followed by 2007.

Even though I was nearing the end of watching the product,This feud had me invested. Better than their 03 feud IMO. Jericho has a heel here was GOLD.

2007 was were I was losing interest in WWE and watching TNA instead. However, Chris Jericho being a heel is what got me interested in watching Raw again in 08-09

keegandimitrijevic01 is our resident RA Era fanatic here. It wasnt one of my top 3 favorite eras, but I enjoyed it a lot. 2007 is considered to be the worst year of not just the RA Era, but in wrestling history, so for overrated, I would have to go with 2003. HHHs Reign of Terror lasted all year and hell, he even got married that year. The McMahons were all over TV, Goldberg and Ultimo Dragon were grossly misused.

I do wish they gave Ultimo Dragon a run with the CW belt.Him as a heel against Rey would've been a nice throwback to the WCW days.

What about Stephanie McMahon being in main events of smackdown against guys like Big Show and A-Train? She wasn't presented as an equal, but it was definitely egomania run amok. Two other things I hated about 2003 were the Scott Steiner and Test feud and RVD being relegated to midcard when he should have been a main eventer. He was over the second he debuted in 2001.

Jeff Hardy chasing the WWE Championship and his struggle coming to a close Edge's role as top heel on SmackDown Cena/Batista Cm Punk's World Title win they botched it really hard though. But it's still worth being highlight when he won it Jericho/Shawn Michaels Morrison and Miz and Cryme Time were two fun tag teams and were fun to see on the weekly Cena/JBL's match at the Bash was pretty damn good Triple H's work rate in 2008 Randy Orton's Age of Orton Show/Taker at No Mercy 2008 was far better then expected It may have been the first year of PG, but I don't feel like you could really feel it until like after Survivor Series. There still was some very heavy long term stories with Taker/Edge HBK/Shawn. We literally were blessed to see HBK/Shawn escalate, Cena/Batista clash, and Taker and Edge end their feud in one night. Followed by Jeff Hardy's chase for the WWE title. It was fun solid TV. Just like any year there was some really poor calls My bad I read PC. I mean the WWE Facebook knock off attempt was bad. And started bad trend of WWE social media bs. Especially that tout bs in 2012.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Flair retirement angle. That was good and would have been the perfect end to his career. Alas he came out of retirement for the lame Hulkamania tour in Australia that drew poor houses.

But I feel like we had couple of years to wait. 2013/2014 is when I think society and the world starting getting way more PC. 08 you still got away with Cryme Time and and some others. 2013 still had the Swagger/Delrio stuff. That would of never flew in 2019. Trust me I hate PC morals in my wrestling too.

2008 doesn’t work in my mind for the RA era. That’s the first year of PG.
