Ventura/McMahon is probably my current favourite. I think Ventura is criminally underrated.

Alfred Hayes I find somewhat underrated in general. Not necessarily great, but a great character.

Lord Alfred Hayes was great with Vince on Tuesday Night Titans. But as part of an announcer team he was average to me.

This is a hard one. I was always a fan of Gorilla and Jessie Ventura. So many great early wrestlemania memories with those two on commentary.

I preferred Ventura and Gorilla but Heenan was great too. When Ventura left right before Summerslam 90 PPVs would never be the same for me. (Piper at SS 90 was painful to listen to.) Heenan came closest to filling Ventura's shoes.

Late 02 I came into JR/Lawler and Cole/Tazz, so my choice is gonna be JR/Lawler.

I always thought both Gorilla and Bobby did a good job with JR in 93/94 during the brief run of each team.

I just watched the panel with JR and The King from Starrcast II, and they both said that whoever the audience grows up with and is familiar with, that will be their favourite commentators of all time. I kid you not, kids who are 7, 8, 9 or 10 years old, will says years from now, that Michael Cole and Corey Graves were the best commentators they ever heard. Because that's what they know. *vomits in my throat at the thought of this*
