Hi all, hope you’re all good.
Firstly, I appreciate I’ve spotted the bulk of this in the customs board for obvious reasons, but I’m really hoping this can gain some traction, if possible and I’m hoping you lot can help spread the word. I’ve been a member on here since 2001 and I appreciate the knowledge of this community, it’s the reason I properly got in to collecting lines.
Anyway, on to the point at hand...
My team, in conjunction with this forums very own @kev85hasbro have just announced a custom Hasbro competition on Twitter.
It’s ambitious, but I have high hopes for it, if we get enough interested Hasbro customisers involved.
Our aim is to recycle battered and bruised hasbros, whilst making money for charity.
We have a number of prizes lined up for the winner, and several pending, which we’ll announce once we ensure there’s enough interest.
It’s completely free to enter and it’s all in the name of charity. So, here’s the low down:
- Once we get 12 customisers (or enough for this to work), we will send each of the customisers a Hasbro from our collection. We will cover the costs of postage.
- The customisers will use that figure to create a custom. They can replace the head, but must use the torso, legs and arms of the Hasbro we send. They can paint, sculpt, cut and modify however they like. The custom must be wrestling related.
- The customisers will send pics of their finished work to my team. We will collate all finished picture and they will go in to a twitter poll. The one with most votes by the end date, wins. That customiser will receive all prizes announced.
- ALL customisers will be asked to sell their finished custom. We ask that they inform us of the sale price and send us proof they have donated the proceeds (screen shot of donation).
- We will tally up the total raised and announce with all of the customisers who have taken part. Along with a certificate/artwork sent to each contestant as a thank you.
- The competition is currently pinned on our twitter page. Please let me know if you wish to take part.
