Sad news especially at a young age. He was 3 years younger than me and 6 years younger than when my father passed.

That is very sad. I know he wasn't around too long in WWF but he was memorable enough for me. I wonder if anyone in a higher position with WWF, like Bruce Prichard or Jim Ross, acknowledged if Vince McMahon really thought fans would think these guys were Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. LOL. I know it was a horrible storyline but it's like something out of an Adam Sandler or Will Ferrell movie and those guys are considering big stars.

When WCW fired Scott Hall, they should have brought him in as the Fake Scott Hall. I would have popped for that!
But still, very sad that he's no longer with us.

RIP Rick...that was one hell of an awful gimmick you got saddled with. NOBODY could have made it work. I always remember Cornette's thoughts on this so clearly.... Cornette to Vince: "Lemme get this straight cause I have to be f*cking missing something here.... you want me to teach Rick Bogner how to be Scott f*cking Hall over the weekend? One of the best talkers we have seen this last decade and you need me to teach Rick how to be him by Monday are you serious? " Vince to Cornette: "Yes" ahhhhh man I nearly died laughing

Far to young an age to die such a shame.
While such a short-lived stint in the WWE, it is something that I will remember forever. I was legit pissed and sitting with my mouth wide open when this went down. I freaking loved Razor and Diesel and was not impressed when this happened. I tried to kind of make the best of it, but it just never worked and to be fair that is not because of the skills or talent of Rock Bognar. No one could have pulled this off it was such an unfair situation to put someone in and he did the best that he could.

Sad, why didn't Vince just bring the Big Titan gimmick over instead of giving him a crappy role?

RIP Rick...that was one hell of an awful gimmick you got saddled with. NOBODY could have made it work. I always remember Cornette's thoughts on this so clearly.... I remember him saying that McMahon also wanted Jim to teach Glenn Jacobs Diesel's moves which Jim says wasn't hard since he didn't have too many. It least Rick was memorable after all these years and although it wasn't necessarily for good reasons, it wasn't his fault. He did the best with it. IIRC his stubble wasn't thick enough. He would have looked a little more like Razor with the stubble.

I still remember the Raw where they "returned"....and the real life story about how WCW execs greenlit a huge pay rise for Hall & Nash to keep them in WCW...when Vince hadn't contacted them....LMFAO at that
