I'm going into tonight with an open mind. There were things I loved about the PPV's and things I hated. I have no idea where AEW will ultimately shake out in my wrestling priorities.
But I can absolutely say that I'm excited to see what tonight and beyond holds. When WCW went under I was one of the few people who was loving the product and watching regularly. Within a year or so I had stopped watching wrestling completely, but would keep my eye on wrestling news hoping the next "major" promotion would come along. By the time I got back into wrestling around 2014, I figured that ship had sailed.
I'm excited to see another major promotion, one that can offer the production value, hype, and hopefully talent that can keep you on the edge of your seat. This should be fun.

I was hoping the Countdown show airing on TruTV right now would be more about an in-depth explanation of the company, rather than videos they've already released.
It is a good intro for the uninitiated, just desiring more substance about how this is different from others.

Also naming the show "Dynamite" is just so WCW lol Every name they've been trademarking just screams WCW. They even do the grey ring mat.
This is actually just WCW 2.0 + TNA's tunnel stage.

AEW on the tv, NXT on the ipad. I'll watch NXT live and AEW on the DVR going forward, but for tonight, I'll watch AEW live.
