Incredible, ya know they're probably gonna do recolors too. Maybe we'll get an Ultimo Dragon this way.
Don't forget Boss Fight Studios are doing a Lucha line with Pentagon Jr. and Konnan soon too. It looks like Wednesday nights aren't the only place where there's a wrestling war.

Wow, that's cool. Now can they do a Great Muta?

Wow, that's cool. Now can they do a Great Muta? They'd have to actually license Muto to do that, so it's possible, but them working with New Japan doesn't automatically mean they can make a figure of a guy who hasn't actually been on the roster in nearly two decades.

So I’m assuming these will be 6 inch scale. I’m hoping the arms aren’t as big as Hogan’s. Would like him to be in scale with the Mattel Flyin Brian. Hoping the floating crotch piece is a thing of the past.

That's what I am hoping for since I don't think Mattel or the WWE is going to do that. The Great Muta was one of my favorite wrestlers from WCW growing up so I would like to have him made and it looks like Storm is more likely than Mattel. And, that Liger figure turned out amazing so I'd like to see what they could do with Muta. Actually, it would be cool if Storm collectibles could make figures (and sign wrestlers) that Mattel is not allowed to make like Owen Hart, Dynamite Kid, Dustin Rhodes, Billy Graham, Jesse Ventura, etc. to help us fill in the wholes in our collections from Mattel and the WWE.

They managed to snag a deal with Hogan by himself, why not others? I think the sales in Japan alone could warrant that contract. And along with mksavage, I know a classic non-bald Muta would be a first day preorder for me... and I doubt we're alone. Liger, Inoki and Muta are my top three Japanese wants. This Liger is a must have!

I'd love for Storm to license all the guys we won't get from Mattel too, honestly. Their figures are absolutely top notch. I'm just not real sure they're willing to go spend the money on someone like Dustin Rhodes, even though I'd really love a 1993-1994 era Natural Dustin Rhodes figure. Not real sure how Mattel threw out a figure for The Shark of all gimmicks but never saw value in doing a Dustin Rhodes figure. Either way, I'm happy they're doing something wrestling related that isn't Hogan and hopefully them working with New Japan is more than just for this Liger figure given that Super7 has really gone completely cold on what they're doing with the New Japan license. See, that's the thing. They really only try to license the biggest names. When they did boxing, they only went after Ali and Tyson because they're the two with the most mainstream market value. Inoki is a top 3 favorite wrestler of all time for me and I'd buy every figure of him they made if they licensed him, but I don't see them approaching him because he's only going to sell in one part of the world and Inoki's going to want a lot of money for his image. Also regarding Muta, yeah he's an easy day one preorder for me if anyone outside of the goofs doing $30 RA figures in 2019 makes him. If Storm did a modern version of the deluxe Muta from the old New Japan line, I'd lose my goddamn mind. I just don't want people to talk themselves into the idea of that being something we're going to get because we don't know if this is a one and done for Storm before they go back to Hogan being the only pro wrestling stuff they do.

It looks incredible. I’m just hoping he’s in scale with Mattel. I’d imagine that Storm Collectibles knows that a lot of Mattel collectors want figures to fill in the gaps. I’d love a Vampiro, Ultimo Dragon etc. Maybe they could even sign Raven and the Steiner bros.

Nice! Ready to hear news when available & price.
Being in scale with Mattel really makes no difference to me. I’ll get one either way.

Figure is incredible. Must buy for me. Looks the same as Hogan. Height will probably be very close but it’ll just be a little bulky.
