This man was seen a lot during WWF shows in the late 80s and mid 90s. This man's role was mainly to mediate between wrestlers when they had a physical fight. He was also there when Stone cold first stunner to Vince mcmahon. From Attitude era, his role was handed over to Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco. Who is he?

He was big in the mid 70’s when I started watching the WWF. I remember him as a tag team with both Zbyszko and Martel.

I actually did not know his name, but he does look familiar from fights he's broken up.

It's really a shame WWF didn't acknowledge the former wrestlers much unless they were used specifically in a storyline, like Patterson and Brisco in the late 1990s. Gorilla Monsoon would usually mention a name or two (Rene Goulet usually) but not so much Jack Lanza or Tony Garea. Tony's last "major" moment as an in ring talent is Big Event in 1986. I don't think he continued wrestling much later than that.

Anytime I think of pull apart brawls from the late 80s/early 90s in the WWF,Garea and Goulet come to mind. They were always usually the first guys out there.
