Looks like a slow day on the classics section..... Should we tell him Owen Hart & "Yoko Zuna" are dead?

I mean...two of those guys are dead and most of the rest is a list full of people who spent large chunks of their careers elsewhere. Hell, Holly alone hasn't been with the WWE for what, a decade or so?
The lifer on that list is Mark Henry. Entire career with the company and is now a producer and ambassador.

I would say maybe Tony Garea could be added also. Is he still backstage now?

Howard Finkel is another lifer. Been with the company since the late 70s I believe.

Howard is in pretty bad health but I'm hoping he is under contract with them. I don't think Tony's been with the company for about 20 years but I could be wrong. The last I've seen of him was mid 1990s and that's really judging by that photo posted in another thread which appears be around 1996. I haven't heard his name involved with WWE for years.

OK....do you mean Lifers as didn't compete anywhere else? Or didn't fall out with Vince? Jerry Lawler walked out in Feb 2001 over the Kat...wouldn't return until November.
Austin walked in May 2002 & was gone until Feb 03...also had numerous other issues over the 2000s
Tatanka left in 1996(last TV appearance was March 19 vs Bret) he had family issues after the whole court episode of 1995 & wasn't back until 2005
Bob Holly was released from his contract in 2009 I believe....
Yoko was released by Vince officially in 1998 I believe because his weight had gotten so out of control he wasn't licensed to compete in most states. Also lots of wrestlers were legit afraid of competing with him.
Rocks contract with WWE ended in 2004 and he wouldn't be seen again until 2007 in a taped segment. He turned down numerous advances from Vince until 2011....
so yeah I dunno about lifers....Undertaker & Kane? yeah definitely.....

It means they didn't wrestle in other major promotions after WWE and have been around since the New Generation days. I have alot of respect for them all.

Yup.... Also Yokozuna would 100% have went to WCW but they couldn't get him licensed either. Its so sad what happened to him. His weight gain is staggering lads.....

Okay don't really get the point of this list but when I think of WWE lifer kind of guys to me that's guys that have never left the company once they joined and have appeared every single year on TV in some form or fashion and or wrestled matches. So to me that basically leaves like like of HBK,Kane,Taker & Triple H in terms of the wrestling side of things. All four men have had sometype of on air angle they where apart of or wrestled match per year since their debuts.

It means they didn't wrestle in other major promotions after WWE and have been around since the New Generation days. I have alot of respect for them all. Well in that case you can't have Lawler (left WWE and wrestled for WWA? in 2001 and Memphis more recently), Bob Holly (wrestled on TNA once) & Bob Backlund (was in TNA for several years). I wouldn't count Yokozuna or Owen Hart either as who knows what would have happened to them. It's just odd that you include certain wrestlers who have had seriously long breaks before returning to the company, like Tatanka. People wouldn't necessarily think what you're saying right off the bat. What I do respect is like you how long many of them have been around and still appear in some capacity. I'd include Matt and Jeff and Edge (and somehwat Christian) in that regards since they have been around for so long and still wrestle or at least appear.
