Took time out of my WM binge to check out Into the Fire, the first I've watched NWA since the first few episodes. Was thoroughly entertained, hope it won't be long before I can enjoy Hard Times as well. I highly suggest watching the show between Into the Fire and Hard Times. That entire season was excellent. Better than the first by a mile, not that the first was outright bad. Hoping to catch up on those eventually. Appreciate the recommendation. |

The 2nd season was so much better than the first! I feel like the first season felt like a cool, novelty thing, but the second season felt like a real wrestling company. Plus guys like Aron Stevens, Question Mark, Royce Isaacs, all really coming into their own! Eli Drake feeling like a mega star! Tim Storm continues to be the best babyface! Can't recommend it enough honestly!

Okay episode of Powerrr tonight, I felt. The Mama Storm segment went on a bit, clearly edited down too so I can only imagine how long it went on for live. Cross/Konley just wasn't interesting to me. Not a bad match by any means, just not interesting. Murdoch/Shooter went on a lot longer than I would have expected. Rosa/Kay was good! I think they have good chemistry together! I really like the Royce/Valentine gimmick so I enjoyed their segment for the most part. I hate that they changed the intro theme! Into The Fire was such a good song, got me pumped every week! I feel this song doesn't even fit the style of the show.

I'm also going to say I'm not a fan of the new Pantera opening. I feel that the Dokken song just fit with the whole era vibe they were going for. I enjoyed Eddie Kingston's from the heart promo, and it really looks like Eli Drake dyed his eyebrows darker. It weirds me out.

Homicide turns on Edwards & they start a feud. Possibly a 2020 version of "The Last Battle For Atlanta".

Another okay episode for me. LOVE Zicky Dice! That guy is a star! The Mama Storm thing, again, didn't really land for me. Everything else was okay. Nothing horrible but also nothing outstanding.

He's a damn good wrestler, though.
Just when I think they've done all they can with the Question Mark, he comes out in a Bruce Lee outfit. I'm hoping he & Stevens get a run with the tag titles.
If I had the time, I'm really tempted to go to Austin Idol's wrestling school & try to get into the NWA....just so I can tell that annoying kid with the high-pitched voice at ringside to shut the hell up.

Another okay episode for me. I enjoyed Aldis's promo, Shooter Stevens' promo, and I enjoyed the closing angle with the ladies. The Tim Storm/Danny Deals thing is just falling flat for me. I'm not the biggest fan of this term but it's the best way I can describe it at the moment, Danny Deals feels like he's "playing wrestler" and it just comes across as low-budget to me.

I absolutely love him every single time he is on! Kingston is so good! I loved him in Impact and his mic work here is just as good! The women's division doesn't have a lot of women in it, but I think they make it the best they can with what they have. It's not perfect, it's not even good at times, but with what they have I give them credit for. They try to make interesting storylines. Like I thought Melina walking away was a lot more interesting than if they just had a straight up match right there. Kamille is one I'm not too familiar with. I only know her as Aldis's heavy so I don't really know how she is in the ring. For me, personally, I love the length! I watch Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Dynamite, Impact, so NWA being an hour with short and sweet matches, I love it! Doesn't overstay its welcome and doesn't feel draining like the other shows can. But I do see where you are coming from in maybe wanting some matches to be fleshed out more. |

Cabana would not be missed from NWA. He's been the biggest disappointment to me. I thought he would at least put out some decent promos.

I outsmarted you" moves, and wouldn't let Delaney get any offensive. Plus, he was wearing a singlet that can only be described as "the Pat Patterson appetizer". Plus, that freaking stupid Superman pin. |
