My apologies, Power was promoted on screen on the Z Living channel during CWFH, with a time slot even, but I guess they were referencing the youtube show? Sorry guys. I went to set my dvr and found out.

NWA Power has been good so far, but they have really stepped it up since Into the Fire. Every episode since the PPV has been excellent.
Aldis going full heel and Tim Storm getting the big rub from that really feels like the fruition of plans laid. Lots of personalities coming out and they've been pandering to the fans in the right way. Great wrestling program.
As much as I'm a huge Corny fan and was never a big Barrett fan, I am pleasently surprised that Barrett has been fitting in fine and doing well.

It took me a few minutes to finally get a good look at Zickey Dice's trunks this episode.
I wish I hadn't!

Barrett has a bit of a Jesse Ventura commentary feel to me, so I'm really loving it so far. I was nervous too, Cornette may be a dummy sometimes but I loved him on commentary. These episodes really have been great. I'm definitely on board with Eli Drake being the one to take the belt off Aldis eventually.

Refreshing to see a wrestling promotion actually plan things. Starks is a dark horse too I think. He's been growing on me steadily after originally not being a fan, but I wouldn't be shocked if he gets the TV title instead. The only things I don't like are the occasional goofiness (Question Mark, the commercials) and the RNR. I now the Rock N Roll are Legends and I respect them greatly, but they're way too old for me now. I can't take them seriously and find myself getting up to do something else when they're on. I also find the women's angle to be quite weak. There's no real story there other than bad guys don't like good guys. I don't like that it has all the women involved. That being said, ODB and Thunder Rosa had a great match last episode.

Oh man, I love the Question Mark, and the commercials. Just the right amount of self-aware satire for me. I was in tears the first time I heard about Waffles & Tire Irons, and I would 100% put a Mongrovian Flag in my garage. I'm so excited and depressed for the Question Mark payoff when Josephus finally reveals himself. I don't want the Question Mark to end yet, but it won't last forever.
Rock & Roll will never die, but it can retire. Blows my mind that DDP is the same age, he looks infinitely better. They could use some DDPY.

Bret, Sting, Luger, Hall, Stieners, Arn, Nash, Dibiase, Duggan, and Steamboat are around the same age to name a few so the business hits some harder then others I guess.

I like the slow build that NWA Power is using. Tim Storm is the white meat babyface I never knew I wanted, Aldis is a good throwback heel champ, Shooter Stevens entertains every time he does anything, Eli Drake hasn't done much but he still comes off well, Murdoch and Starks are fine mid carders. It's the best promo promotion in wrestling right now and that goes a long, long way.

I am so glad I discovered this thread and it led me to NWA Power it is the only wrestling I watch now. I love the old school feel, it has everything that made me fall in love with wrestling back in the 70s and 80s. WWE is just too overproduced. And Vince is crazy and ruins his own product.

Looking forward to the PPV tonight. I think Tim Storm wins the TV title, but I would prefer him to get screwed in some way and continue his unlucky babyface angle while Starks wins it.

I think Starks is the clear winner. I also wouldn't hate seeing Question Mark win it and have Shooter Stevens turn on him. I think Stevens and Question Mark has run its course mostly. The last segment they had this week was great but I struggle to see where else they take it. I guess if anyone can keep it fresh, it's Stevens.

I enjoyed Hard Times. Lots to like. I was shocked that Gally and Bennet didn't make a bigger deal out of Murdoch lasting so long with Question Mark, and then again seemingly were asleep when saying Question Mark is no longer undefeated. Odd choice.
I like the idea of including ROH guys or people from other promotions in the TV title tournament, adds to the "alliance" aspect of NWA. But that circus ninja guy was awful. I liked Dave Maff's actually impactful spears though.
Weak tag title match. Didn't we have a 3-way tag title match last PPV? Wasn't it these 3 teams again? Glad to see the Rock n Roll lose.
All in all a good show and I liked the old school booking of young and up and coming Starks vs sympathetic babyface veteran Murdoch for the tournament final. Looking forward to next season.

They did a great job of making both Starks and Murdoch look good coming out of that PPV.
I don't love Drake being tag champ, but I'm curious to see how things eventually break for him and Storm. Nice promo from St. Tim Storm to make up for his first round bye too.

Took time out of my WM binge to check out Into the Fire, the first I've watched NWA since the first few episodes. Was thoroughly entertained, hope it won't be long before I can enjoy Hard Times as well.

Better than the first by a mile, not that the first was outright bad.
