Curious if they try to pull the trigger on the villain. He's worked with them before too. The audience is so small he might be able to survive there without getting run out This could be the only reason I see to pay $30 to watch this. Add him to Aldis and the ladies could make it worth wild for me. Unless they just can't afford it, Tessa or Marty would both make a lot of sense on paper. I it's just a risk/reward of whether they think the eyes they could bring to the product outnumber the number that they'll turn off.

So the main event of the PPV is Nick Aldis vs .......Aron Stevens. In all seriousness I’m thinking the entire point of this ppv is for Omega to come out at the end and stare down Aldis. I think he is taking the NWA title at some point as well.

If the NWA wants to become anything more then like the 5th or 6th company in North America going to have to spend some money and bring in a few talents with some name power.Theirs a lot of talent on the market but as you stated a lot of them have some heavy baggages.
ACH
Akam
Alberto Del Rio Austin Aries Big Cass Bubba Ray Dudley
Carlito Chris Hero
Curtis Axel
Darren Young
Davey Boy Smith Jr
Davey Richards
Enzo
Erik Rowan
Joey Mercury
JTG Lio Rush
Marty Scrull
Michael Elgin
Rezar
Rob Van Dam Ryback
Tessa Blanchard
Then you have older legends like Batista,Kurt Angle,CM Punk,Mick Foley...ect but those guys are way out of their price range.

Great list. Of the folks you mentioned, Carlito seems like a natural fit. I'm amazed Hero has gone unsigned this long, and bringing in he and Ellering would be smart. Axel is another good fit for the product. Billy had a good formula pre-pandemic with some older vets, gimmicks, and some fresh faces. Hoping he has the cash to make some signings this time around. Obviously it's impossible to know who wants to work and who doesn't, what kind of numbers people ask for, etc.

No Elgin, he would guarantee that I never watch their product again.

From that list I hope they would pick up Marty,AOP,Enzo&Cass and Carlito. I just hope they don't get Del Rio or Elgin.

From my list I would go with
Big Cass & Enzo-Solid tag team that was crazy over with the crowd, really reminded me of a modern era New Age Outlaws.Plus both guys seem like good guys and you can tell a hell of a redemption storyline.
Carlito-As seen recently in the best shape of his career and never got a shot at the main event scene.Could reform his tag team with Chris Masters or feud with him. Then facing off with Magnus for the NWA title,Which baring Cody Rhodes would give Magnus the biggest star he's faced in a title program.
Curtis Axel-Could be a solid hand for the mid card or main event and finally showcase his in ring abilities.Plus would be nice to see him carry on his grandfather's and dad's legacy.Help reclaim the legacy and name brand to the Henning name in the business.
Those would be my four and think would help create enough buzz, plus all for are not past their primes and don't think they would break the bank. Also don't think their would be much drama or baggage in terms if the locker room.

There are so many "headaches" on your list. It's almost entirely people who are not signed for their conduct. Promoters would be wise to avoid several of those people. Some are retired, or under contract other places, as well. I believe Harry Smith has been signed to the WWE for some time, but hasn't been announced. Enzo/Cass, Carlito, and Curtis Axel do deserve another crack at something, I think. Too much talent to not at least try. Those are the same ones that jump out.

ppv left a lot to be desired, watched it this evening with a friend, but it was still nice to see NWA again.
I would've had Brodus/Stevens in a number one contender match so Stevens could've have gotten a w but still had a mountain to climb to do it
is Hennig actually signed? if so, I don't care about the haters, I want to see him have a proper run as a competitor in NWA. give him a manager and tell him to be aggressive. done.

Aldis openly said in an interview they were interested in bringing Henning in, so I assume it’s just a matter of time.

Kylie Ray is emerging from her short retirement and will be on NWA's next ppv
and Trevor Murdoch is the #1 contender. I don't dislike Trevor but yeesh, title picture?

I saw the PPV lineup and def thought it was absolutely one of the weirder PPV lineups I have ever seen...like Kylie coming out of retirement for a tag match.....in NWA....teaming with Taryn Terrell
