Series 2 has been announced, Naito, Evil, Bushi, and Takahashi Give me all the Naito!! I wish we would get some new picture updates on S1 though. Yeah the pics in the e-mail showed Ishii with no wrist tape, so guess they aren’t updated. So now that Wave 2 is announced and pre-orders go up on Monday, that has to be good news for Wave 1 right? Means they are almost out? |

So I know that series 2 just literally got annouced but I assume this means Sanada and Jay White are in series 3. I’d assume Kota Ibushi should be in the cards soon too.

Great line-up for series 2 4 out of the 6 members of Los Ingobernables de Japon. Hopefully wave 3 or 4 finishes the faction and maybe adds Tenzan, Yuji Nagata, Ibushi, to the line.

Not that the lineup isn't absolutely amazing, but I find it weird all are LIdJ members, maybe we're getting the 6-Man Titles (?). Would've bet SANADA would certainly outrank Bushi.

Indeed, the lineup is solid but alignment is a bit interesting to me as well. Two jr's and I don't think that any combo of these 3 out of the 4 were recognized as 6-man champs together. Perhaps a Shingo or Sanada RSC exclusive announcement to come? LOL |

I can only imagine if they can work in a mist accessory with Bushi as well. Additionally, the prospects of Evil's accessories has me freaking out. |

Was hoping for an All LIJ series! Awesome.
Would've loved Sanada in there naturally but I'm not surprised we'll have to wait for him. Even after he joined New Japan he was still technically a "freelancer" for a long time and that stuff has an effect on merch. Wouldn't surprise me if that led to a holdup with how fast we could get him. I think he's a full-fledged roster member now, though. Shingo was a freelancer too when he first joined and I'm hoping he's fully contracted as well so we can get him in Series 3 or 4.

Keep in mind, these might not be the final proto images for series 1. Ishii doesn't have his wrist tape and TJ confirmed he will.
Still, nice to see Tanahashi's giraffe neck was fixed.
EDIT: Also just noticed Okada's attire is different from what was originally pictured and I kinda dig it.

I remember them saying they were going to change/update Okada's gear but I'm kinda stunned at just how different it is. It looks sweet, but if push came to shove I think I'd prefer one of his more traditional looks (with the purple/gold balance)
