Okada is 6'3 Tanahashi is 5'11. Yes, but when the prototypes were shown side-by-side, Tanahashi was taller than Okada.

Wow. That is BAD. Especially if you consider Tanahashi’s legs are apart. You put them together and he would be like a full foot taller. I wonder if they did this so it was easier to maintain detail?
Watch out Baba and Andre!

I guess I don’t pay attention to things like that enough when watching matches cause I had no idea Tanahashi was that much shorter than Okada.

But then again Tanahashi has a pretty muscular build I guess when the two are wrestling it doesn't seem as bad.

I wonder if this will get fixed for the final product release? Also I wonder how in scale these will be with Mattel elites.

I know they addressed some of the issues, and made changes. Flynn hasn't posted much about them only Thundercats lately. They finally sent notification that some of the earlier pre-orders are in route such as Toxie. So hopefully the wait on these is not that much longer.

If they haven’t fixed the height issues I’ll just keep them MOC so it isn’t as obvious.

Does it REALLY matter though?
If you display them. Will your family and friends mock you for the incorrect sizing? No. Will it bother you to no end and you eventually take your own life? No.
If you play with them. Will the height really effect the outcome of the match? And if it does, does that really mean anything in the grand scheme of life?
Guys ... we're getting elite-style NJPW figures. We should count our blessings.

Guys ... we're getting elite-style NJPW figures. We should count our blessings. It's not that much to ask for correct scaling and articulation in 2020 my friend. You had people up in arms about wrist tape on Ishii (something you fix in 10 seconds or less) but god forbid we point out size issues on the figure. If you want to put things that way collecting doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of life either.

IMO scaling is something more important than missing wrist tape or something like that. But yes, either way, I’m glad we are getting this and looking very much to actually having this in my hands a lot sooner than expected.

I find that it looks worse if someone displays different figures of the same wrestler together that have varying heights as opposed to different wrestlers next to each other that may not be scaled totally right.
